Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Penn Yan

My family of two adults and one 4 year old stayed at Teresa’s while visiting family for the holidays and it was a great place. It’s well and thoughtfully stocked, and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The porch was very helpful for having Wegmans groceries delivered. It was plenty warm enough for us Californians in December, and Teresa responded right away when our jet lagged brains couldn’t find the toaster (it’s in the lazy Susan). Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

If I’d really read the check in directions and not just the address finding the house would have been very clear! The house is on an auto repair shop property but it didn’t bother us a bit! The bed was very comfortable and the set up of kitchen and living/dining area just perfect. The faucet in the tub is lose and should probably be checked. Water supply and temp were great. We even enjoyed the spacious porch to watch the morning sky and birds, in spite of chilly weather! The house met our needs perfectly! We’d happily return.

An excellent stay and I would recommend it to anyone heading to the Corning museum of glass or Watkins Glen, we happened to do both! Barb was very responsive and made sure all of our needs were met. This very cozy house was perfect for our weekend trip!

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at this cozy cabin. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature. The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped, and had a charming rustic feel. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great spot close to Watkins Glen and area!

Roberta’s cottage is even nicer in person. Very clean, cozy & comfortable, somewhat secluded & private, just what I needed. Plenty of area outside for my two dogs. You can tell she really cares about her guests, from the toiletries in the bathroom, to the cookie snacks in the kitchen & even the doggie waste bags there for you. There is a full size coffee pot/k-cup combo with an assortment of coffees, cappuccinos & milk chocolate k-cups. A big plus was the whole cottage water system, especially the drinking water station. The kitchen faucet is gorgeous, very high end. The cottage is decorated beautifully but simple, no clutter or Knick-knacks in your way. Gorgeous rustic sliding doors to the bathroom, bedroom & utility room with a full/large size washer & dryer. The beautiful double walk in shower is huge & something you’d see in a Modern Home magazine, equipped with two overhead rain shower heads, each with an adjustable or hand held combo sprayer & a smooth sliding glass door.

Chelsey and Bel were such amazing hosts! They were super helpful and kind when we needed to book a same-day reservation (that turned into a two week stay) following a stressful emergency at our own house. Will def recommend to others visiting Fairport! Great location, with everything our family needed on hand. Just a short walk to the village and all the super shops and restaurants. Thanks again!

This was our 2nd stay at Jason’s place, loved it so much the first time, had to come back! Feels like home as soon as you walk in the door, some nice extras in the refrigerator (eggs water bottles, English muffins) Being that it was right after Christmas there were beautiful holiday plants in the bedrooms and kitchen. Love the view from the window seat, looking out over the pond, especially watching the birds. Wood stove is perfect for the colder weather. Cannot say enough good things, already planning on coming back after Christmas this year. Thank you Jason for another incredible stay.

Christopher was very responsive and provided us with everything we needed in the space, including instructions for the TV, heating, and WiFi. The furniture was comfortable and it was the perfect space for two people! It was definitely worth the price and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Ithaca or Watkins Glen!

It was a perfect place to stay for our mother & daughter weekend exploring Watkins Glenn and surrounding area(waterfalls, hiking, wineries, breweries, lakes).Can easily walk into town to shops, restaurants and WG state park. Apartment is fully stocked with all needed for our stay. It is a super cozy, comfortable & clean. Host is very helpful & responsive. It was a perfect fall getaway. Hope to return in the future.

This space was PERFECT for our little anniversary getaway in the finger lakes! Ron was very responsive and we loved all of the treats he supplied the house with. We can wait to come back during the summer! Thank you, Ron!

We visited Ithaca for my daughter's Cornell Family Weekend. Had great time during our stay. The apartment is super clean and comfortable - the nice details everywhere makes it feel just like home. Mary is very friendly and responsive - the best host one can ask for. We will certainly come back again.

We had a wonderful two night stay. The apartment was easy to find, very clean and exactly as described. We were able to walk to pubs, Seward museum and Wegman's grocery store. It is in a very safe and beautiful area We will stay there again when we are in Auburn.

This is a great place to stay! We extended our initial stay and cannot say enough good things about Kathleen & Rue (resident pup!). The area is incredibly walkable and the apartment is really well taken care of. The kitchen is awesome with a full size fridge and dishwasher! Being able to have our animals is the ultimate plus! The fenced in yard is awesome as well.

Jennifer’s place was perfect for an overnight stay. We already know a bit about the area, and it was nice to be back in the Naples area at the beginning of peak color! What really stood out to me in comparison to all the other Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in was how the apartment was decorated for the fall season. I can’t think of another place I’ve stayed in that had such tasteful seasonal decor. And the amenities were some of the nicest I’ve experienced, from eggs and some fresh veggies in the frig to a variety of coffee flavors to choose from. We were sorry our stay was so short! We loved being away from the village of Naples in a peaceful setting but still just a short drive to stores, a farm market, and some good restaurants. We would definitely stay at Jennifer’s place again.

Melissa and Jerry were fantastic hosts! their place, just around the corner was just as described. We found it clean, comfortable and added extra touches to make us feel welcomed. They were great with communication with us before and during our stay! The location was perfect for visiting Alfred University with our son. While our stay included plenty of snow, they were great with keeping things shoveled and clear so we could come and go easily. We definitely recommend staying with them.

The cabins are meticulously taken care of! There location is spectacular whether you're looking for beer, wine or spirits.

This place turned out to be exactly what we were looking for and needed! A cozy cabin with plenty of space for three people to spread out (and easily room for a few more) for a calm winter getaway. We made almost all our meals there throughout the week, and the kitchen has about everything one would need. Bathroom is nice, new shower appreciated as well as the heated tile floor. Bedroom and beds upstairs feel new and the mattresses are quite firm, so a great nights sleep for us. The propane fireplace was perfect! both ambient & effective The property is massive and the trails made for nice little daily adventures. Snow on the ground and the pond was frozen, so we got a couple days of ice time before rising temps made it a bit too wet. Feels very remote on-property, especially at night, but there are a couple cute towns 20 minutes east or west. Leila diner and Naples pizza highlights. The owner, Felicia, is very responsive and nice to interact with. We hope to be back someday!

This cabin was a great and beautiful time, in a very nice town. Very private and the host is easy to contact with clear instructions. Definitely recommend and hope return another time!

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

Very nice and peaceful trip, EJ was proactive and quick to respond to messages and was kind enough to get the stove started up for us. Plenty of towels, dishes, and even spices available, which was super helpful!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spotless cleanliness—every corner was meticulously maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The cabin's location is unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, and the walking access to the lake was a huge plus for us. We spent evenings gathered around the fire pit, soaking in the peaceful setting. The temperature control system also worked perfectly, ensuring we were always comfortable. A special shout-out to Sarah, the host, whose responsiveness and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this cabin has it all. Highly recommend!

The cabin was clean, updated, and so cozy with the wood stove in the living room and reading nook in the loft. It's the perfect getaway for a couple. Joe did a great job with it and he welcomed us with a gift of wine and cheesecake. The nearby town of Hammondsport is beautifully quaint and inviting. The cabin itself is located close to Watkins Glen, the lakes, and a handful of wineries Including our favorite Bully Hill. I would recommend Joe's cabin to Anyone.

The house was beautiful! The view was stunning and watching the sunrise from the king bed was a real treat.
