Cabin vacation rentals in Penn Yan

Absolutely perfect place to get away for a weekend and celebrate as a couple! This was our second time staying at the Bungalow and it just keeps getting better. The hot tub was a great addition! It’s always beautifully decorated for whatever season it is, super clean, and well stocked with the necessities. We ended up spending most of our time just hanging out together at the cabin because it’s so cozy and relaxing. The fireplace was nice to have this time of year. It’s also out of town and peaceful, but close enough to everything. The hosts are very nice and always quick to respond. We highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Jonna was an amazing host! The location was absolutely breathtaking, even in the winter! The sunset view is one to remember! The place was decorated for the holidays which was so unexpected and appreciated because it shows how much thought goes into it for her. The hot tub was a HUGE plus as well as the wood pellet stove. I felt so comfortable and cozy from the start, we had enough privacy but Jonna was available if we needed anything! My favorite part though? Feeding the horses in the morning! I loved that there were carrots in the fridge for us to feed the horses, such a special touch! I definitely plan to be back next year!

This cabin is perfect for gathering a large group. The layout really lends itself to hanging out in the living room / kitchen. Our group was in town for a funeral, so the ability to gather together was really helpful and healing to us all. It was very peaceful and lent itself to a meaningful time spent together. Also, the cabin is perfectly stocked with everything you might need. We marveled at how every little detail was considered, from a fully stocked kitchen, to necessities in the bathroom medicine closets. It really made it feel like we were staying at a friend's house. Really nice cute little place. We were only 8 minutes away from the place we chose for dinner and we found a nice walking trail even closer than that. The only thing we didn’t like were the lack of curtains. Lots of big windows and nothing to cover them. We’d stay here again!

Beautiful cottage that manages to be cozy and spacious at the same time. We had a wonderful one night stay that was much too short and we'd love to come back! The hot tub was heavenly on a very cold night. Our 7 year old said, "You have to give this place five stars!"

I stayed for 5 days and it was incredibly peaceful. The beds and linens were super cozy. Very peaceful spot, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, seasonings etc. very clean.

Although our trip was interrupted due to illness…lisa was extremely accommodating and generous in her understanding the situation and refunding me!! Would definitely recommend and we’ll rent again!

J's rustic cabin is a wonderful spot in the woods. The view of the forest behind the cabin is so peaceful whether it's by the fire or from the screened porch. This place makes for a great weekend escape if you love nature and want some peace and quiet. The surrounding area is as beautiful as you might expect from the finger lakes and you're close to Watkins Glen & Ithaca. J was proactive and helpful. The cabin was stocked more than we even expected, particularly the cook ware & stove setup which was great. I would definitely return.

Always a wonderful stay. The house is always very clean, plenty of amenities and small thoughtful touches being decorated for the holidays. One of our favorite winter retreats.

We had a great stay at the cabin, which was well appointed and cozy. The location is rural and secluded, with is very relaxing and has access to trails, ponds, and beautiful farm views. The cabin was exactly as described, and we really enjoyed the fire pit and air conditioning. Destiny was extremely responsive and went above and beyond for us, finding us an iron since we had an event, and bringing extra firewood to our cabin. The location was also a great home base to explore the area, since it seemed to be only 20 min from everywhere (Watkins Glen, wineries, Corning museum). Can’t wait to come back again.

We had a wonderful 2-night winter getaway at this cozy cabin! Despite the freezing 0°F temperatures outside, the cabin stayed warm and comfortable the entire time. Kris was extremely helpful and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Their thoughtfulness truly enhanced our experience. This was the perfect spot for a peaceful winter retreat— we absolutely want to return during spring/summer time.

We spent a week at this beautiful spot. It was the perfect location to Ithaca and all the great hiking in the surrounding area. Usually spent the first part of the morning relaxing on the deck with a cup of coffee admiring the lake and the wildlife. Cheryl and her crew were great at communicating with us prior to our arrival. We had no issues while we were there and would definitely stay here again.
