What a fantastic stay. We booked for a two night stay for my birthday and we were over the moon with the snowfall! Sam was great and collected us from the local village to take us to and from the lodge as we couldn’t drive up there due to the snow. The whole stay was great from the lodge, the hot tub and location. We will definitely be back and we would reccomend to anyone looking for a private stay away from reality!

A perfect place for a couple to stay. It is equipped with everything you need, easily accessible and cosy and comfortable. The location is quiet but within easy access of the motorway and for Lancaster. This wasn’t our first stay and it did not disappoint.

The lodge was perfect for our family getaway during the February break. Our young girls espescially loved having the lake right on the doorstep with the ducks, geese and swans all coming round to say hello. The lodge itself was modern, spotless, well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. The resort where the lodges is located had good facilities and friendly staff, the indoor pool and gym were both a good size and well equipped. We didn’t manage the water sports but can imagine this would be top of the list in warmer months. The hosts were very helpful, proactive and clear in their communication which made the whole stay from start to finish seamless. Their website and the lodge itself had lots of information about the local area too which we found useful, a particular highlight was a day to Windermere only about half hour drive away. Overall, would highly recommend.

Lovely spacious period property which is in a great location. Close to train station and Lancaster center. Situated on a quiet street with parking and parking permit supplied by host. Contact with the host was faultless throughout our stay. I would definitely return if in the area again.

We stay every year, lovely cottage perfect for families. No pub or restaurant nearby but plenty within a 20 min drive, worth it for the location. Definitely a place for you if you are after a good walk in beautiful countryside. Lots of stuff in the kitchen for all cooking needs. Very clean and warm. Washing machine and freezer available to use. Lovely fireplace.

We absolutely loved Luan’s place! We went as a family group for a long weekend and were so impressed with the set up. The view is beautiful from the hot tub, bedrooms were really comfortable. The whole place was pristine. We had dinner in a pub around a 20 minute walk away which was lovely. We also cooked a big family meal one night - which the kitchen is well kitted out for. We will definitely be back again as a family - thanks Luan!

Lovely house - perfect for spending family time together. Really peaceful location, this coupled with the very comfy beds, meant we slept really well, the perfect start to the new year! Lots of space, 2 sitting areas and a large kitchen meant we could enjoy time together without feeling we were on top of one another. 3 great pubs in the village that serve good food and very close to Clitheroe for supermarkets/shops.

A cosy cottage with everything needed for a wonderful stay in Meltham! We stayed whilst visiting friends nearby and it was the loveliest home from home. The cottage is cosy, quiet and spotlessly clean. We worked from there for a couple of days and the WiFi worked perfectly for us, we also took our dog and he loved it, a nice secure garden and even had spare dog bowls if needed. Plenty of blankets provided in the spacious living room, made even more cosy with the burner! A really well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds, we slept very well during our stay, helped by the blackout curtains too. The location is also great, around the corner from a supermarket, a lovely bar (the Fourth Fiend) and plenty of nice restaurants/take aways nearby, we loved the Pink Elephant! There’s also plenty of pretty walks nearby, we particularly liked the short walk to Folly Dolly falls on our lunch breaks and explored more of the Peak District too! We’ll return without hesitation on our next visit!

Patty’s Barn was a lovely stay for our family. Michelle was very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The place we stayed at was cosy and full of character, with great facilities for us to use on site.

My parents stayed at Linda's so they could join us in Great Ecc for a combined family Christmas. The house was absolutely perfect for this, the weather was bitter but the house was warm and draught free. It was a lovely set up and totally fit for purpose with nice views from the back across the fields and the Wyre. Would rent again for sure!

I liked the game cupboard and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. A 18 minute walk at fast speed to the bay front. I wasn't clear whether I needed to put any bins out.

we were a party of 5 girls. We really enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for more. The place was spotless and every need was catered for, it was like a home from home. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that towels had been provided as we forgot ours. The kitchen is fully equipped. All tv channels, Alexa and an extensive board game collection was provided. The views from the Lodge were absolutely stunning. We went for a little walk and found a lovely pub not too far away down a country lane. I really couldn't fault our stay, we felt very relaxed by the end Thanks for having us!

Rachel was a lovely host and was very quick to respond to questions. We requested a slightly later checkout and that was no trouble which we really appreciated. The rooms were really clean and more spacious than the pictures gave it credit.
