Five star! We really enjoyed our time in this house! Everything was provided for a great stay. Beds were comfy. Log burner was just heavenly. Kitchen well equipped. Spacious, clean and warm. Lovely walks from the front door. Dog loved it! Perfect for five adults and dog. Host responded quickly to questions. Will be booking again as it's so convenient for visiting family. Thanks Lauren!

A superb property where we immediately felt at home. We stayed for two weeks so got to know the house well. The house is just as described. We arrived after a 48hr power cut at our own home. Andrew had the heating on for us. The home is lovely and warm and the log burner a real bonus. The kitchen is superb and very well equipped. There is a Tesco Express about 4 mins walk from the house. Please don’t think of this as a rental property it is so much more. It’s very much a home.

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Ric and Ingrid’s cottage. The cottage is much bigger than the photos suggest and really exceeded expectations, it’s beautiful! Ric was really responsive and offered flexible check in / check out times as there were no other guests due. Really appreciated the milk, coffee, tea and all other essentials which made the stay so easy and stress free.

Couldn't have been a better location, really central, a few seconds to the nearest shop and a minute or two into the center! Ample space for 4 guests, the en-suite is great feature. A fantastic place to stay, everything in there we needed, and 2 parking permits so we could park right outside😊 We would highly recommend!

Lovely cottage, immaculately clean. Log burner was fantastic and kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. Bedrooms beautifully furnished and beds very comfortable. Lots of extras such as a nesspresso coffee maker and biscuits and sweets galore. Would definitely stay again

As always cottage, was beautifully clean and prepared for us and our dog. As we ate in this time were impressed that all the utensils needed were there, hosts were as attentive and welcoming as always. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic place for a large group but still good value for just for two of us breaking up a long drive from Scotland as only 15min away from M6 Warm when we arrived. Able to chat to Marie about check in. Area is a bit run down but quiet and able to park outside house. Dog friendly, small concrete yard but grass areas are minutes walk away as is a delightful walk on the prom and a great fish n chip shop/ restaurant Fantastic Morcambe sunset and wonderful view of snow topped southern Lake District mountains

My family and I came down from London for my son's football matches and stayed at your place for the weekend. From the very start, during the booking process, you both were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Upon our arrival, the check-in process went so smoothly, and it was welcoming to find the heating on. The house was spotless and had a warm atmosphere. We really appreciated having gated parking around the back, which made it feel secluded and safe. Aaron, you were always so considerate, checking in to ensure everything was going well, which we truly appreciated. We will definitely be coming back! I chose to stay at the log cabin for my boyfriend’s birthday. We both absolutely loved the whole weekend. The lodge was 100% worth the money. The decor in the lodge made you feel right at home. The on site bar and restaurant was lovely and a nice alternative if you didn’t fancy cooking. The on-site deer, peacocks and cats were a highlight of the trip for us. We loved being able to go on a walk and then get back to our lovely lodge and hottub. We will definitely be returning again.

beautiful place, so comfy and clean. really enjoyed our stay here. we booked treatments at the center on site too which were great. We were not a fan of the restaurant on the grounds but lots of places nearby to go to eat. would go again.

Denise is a wonderful host and looks after this lodge beautifully, she is always helpful and responds promptly. This lodge is extremely comfortable, and one of the best Air B&Bs we’ve stayed, hence returning several times. It really has all the items that you will need for your stay, the added new washing machine was easy to use too. Thank you for another relaxing time away with our dogs and for all the little extras.

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Had an absolutely fantastic stay. Great location and lovely peaceful surroundings. The host was very responsive and friendly throughout our stay. Very clean and homely and the added touch of fresh flowers and chocolates were a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you

We really enjoyed everything about this break. The place was stocked with everything we needed and was really well equipped, couldnt fault it at all. The pool is incredible and a highlight of our stay! The main house is wonderful- so full of character and warm and inviting as well as spacious. The pool house quarters were equally as impressive. We just didnt want to go home! The cottage is in a fantastic location to see areas of interest such as malham cove, Pen y Ghent and Ingleborough caves as well as having some wonderful pubs around usually offering delicious food. We absolutely loved it here and would return in a heartbeat. Have had so many friends asking about the place too after seeing pictures, videos and hearing how much we enjoyed it.

The lodge is absolutely beautiful. It’s very clean and spacious, with every room individually decorated. Stan was a wonderful host who responded quickly to any questions. We took lots of things with us that remained unpacked as the lodge is so well equipped. We had a wonderful welcome pack & nothing was too much trouble. The views are amazing, the heating works well & we wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Pauline and Neil were great hosts! They accommodated our booking on short notice and were flexible with check in time, which was very helpful. They were very friendly, helpful and responsive to messages/questions. They addressed minor issues that arose quickly and effectively. While the wifi did not work for the first few days of our stay, Neil and Pauline were actively trying to sort it out and it was resolved within a few days. Neil and Pauline went out of their way to offer and provide rides as we were travelling without a car and under difficult family circumstances. Their kindness and helpfulness was much appreciated and heartwarming. The place was homey, clean and situated on a lovely quiet lane with a pub pretty much across the street. A very nice place to call home for the week. Definitely would recommend their place!

Lovely place, a perfect family home-from-home with a lot of nice touches. On-street parking is very tight and the shower is very feeble and inconsistent temperature but those are the only tiny quibbles.

From the time we booked we were made to feel that John and Christine were waiting to welcome us to their lovely cottage. We had clear directions and John was there to welcome us when we arrived. He showed us round the cottage, gave us helpful advice about eating places, etc and he was there if we needed to check anything out (although everything was really fine and we didn't need to trouble him). The cottage is super - part of an old farmhouse on their working farm, surrounded by fields and lovely scenery. The cottage is extremely well equipped and, to our surprise, there were lots of lovely welcome treats, including prosecco, mulled wine, lovely chocolates, etc etc. Such a wonderful welcome for our 'twixmas' mini break. The area is very attractive and well placed to visit places like Haworth and Skipton, which we did. We would certainly recommend this lovely cottage and want to thank John and Christine for making our stay so enjoyable.

This has quickly become my home-from-home when visiting the area to see family. Mel and Jason are fantastic hosts, the space is warm, welcoming and has everything I need and my doglet loves chasing the house ‘big boy’ Barney around the garden. I’ll be back (again….!)

Second time staying here, will definitely be looking to book a third. Beautiful cottage in a lovely village. All amenities within walkable distance. Lots of local information provided by Olivia. Good communication both before and during my stay. Perfect.

Great way to spend our NYE, the cottage was so peaceful and private. Great space for the dogs to run in the garden, weather weren't on our side but the house was fully equipped and had games too so that it didn't matter! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be looking to book again!

Perfect place for exploring Ripon and the surrounding area, whether you want to walk into the City for the pubs and restaurant or go further afield to walk and explore nearby places like Fountain Abbey or Ripley Castle. We really enjoyed our couple of nights for our anniversary, mixing a couple of cosy nights in the cottage with busy days exploring. Karen was there if we needed her and the cottage had all we needed and more that we didn't need but you might!

Such a beautiful, high spec cottage with a wonderful, responsive host. Great attention to detail including welcome gifts for adults and our dog. Stunning cottage in a stunning location. Would definitely recommend staying at The Snug xx
