Starting from the beginning... ☺️ Communicative and helpful host. He responded quickly to messages. We got recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. We rented two cottages that were next to each other. Everything about them was adequate. We were delighted with the playground, a barbecue area with the possibility of cooking in a cauldron. An additional advantage was the children's playroom - equipped with beautiful, new wooden toys for boys and girls. The kids spent a lot of time there because it was cool when it was 34 degrees outside.🌡️🌞 The cottages also kept at a pleasant temperature. The place is fenced and children could be outside by themselves. There were bikes, scooters and running bikes in different sizes available. The place is a good location to nearby thermal springs💦/ use of pools and to visit the wineries 🍇🍷 We highly recommend this place and host 🌻🇭🇺 🥰

Loved this little Airbnb. Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Super clean and comfortable all around. Right around the corner from the castle, and central to all there is to do in Eger - even walkable (if you like to walk like we do) to the Valley of the Beautiful Woman wine area. The only trick was actually finding the place when you first arrive - you have to enter from the rear of the building, but the "1/5" in the address was throwing us off. The 1/5 means 1st floor, 5th flat.

They were very welcoming and responsive to our questions. Being cool, they were well heated for us😊. The whole place is very quiet and cozy, the apartment was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. You can walk a lot in the area, and the people were very kind and helpful. We had a great time. Thank you 🥰

Beautiful garden, cozy, fully equipped house.

This was a really good spot for us to stay in. Good location very close to town and in a quiet and safe building. The apartment is stylish and looks like the photos. There are a lot of small touches that made the place stand out such as a well equipped kitchen for cooking a home dinner, some cool light features in the bathroom and lounge area and the host has kindly provided a few small amenities that guests don't always carry with them like salt, coffee pods, basic kitchen requirements (like tin foil and paper towel), laundry soap and shampoo etc. Edmond was really helpful with the check in instructions and responsive to any messages. An easy 15 min walk from the train station for arrival and departure. This has been a really great choice along our holiday

Accommodation even exceeds expectations. Every detail was thought of, everything is great, everything is very clean, Hot tub and sauna complement each other perfectly. The house is situated in an absolutely quiet location on a mountain, you don't notice the few neighbors at all, neither noises nor glances can reach you. Nevertheless, you are 10 minutes by car from a small place that leaves nothing to be desired: several supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants. Depending on the weather, you should just note that the road is no longer paved on the last 250 m of the journey, and is not even a gravel road. Instead, you drive on a dirt road, a bit bumpy, as long as it has not rained heavily beforehand, but also no problem at all; in extreme cases, 250 m on foot is also not a big deal. Finally, I would recommend packing extra slippers and a bathrobe for the walk between the wellness area and the house, which are slightly warmer than those provided on site.

We had a very pleasant and relaxing weekend in Falloskút, which was a huge part of Mátralak accommodation. Clean, comfortable, and tidy interior, quiet neighborhood, and the tub provided wonderful relaxation. Overall, we found the Mátra apartment to spend a romantic weekend, I highly recommend it! :)

This tiny house is a hidden gem! The terrace overlooks the fields and mountains, offering a perfect spot to unwind. The warm, clean jacuzzi is ideal for relaxation, making it easy to escape the hustle of daily life and fully embrace nature. A perfect getaway for anyone needing a peaceful retreat.

Very cozy, beautiful apartment, very close to everything. Great temperature, great space, great bathroom. The listing said it contains shampoos, but the apartment didn’t have, although our hostess responded immediately to our request and brought us the next day, a thing that we appreciated very much. The only thing to note is that we would appreciate some info about the amount to pay for the tourist tax and how to do that, before we arrive to Eger. We believe that it should have been communicated, in our chat. It’s not a big issue (2€ per night for each person), but we thought that it would be useful to have been informed in a previous time so as to arrange our finances. Good to know that location that’s in the Airbnb site/application doesn’t correspond exactly to the actual location. It’s not a big deal, it might take you some minutes more to find the location. Finally, apartment, location and amenities totally worth it. Strongly recommended.
