Cosy and secure little pod with space to sit and eat. Very quiet and peaceful site. I loved the round window next to the bed and it was so wholesome waking up to lovely views. Bed was super comfy. The TV was a nice addition with all the mainstream channels. Kitchen had all the facilities you would need for a short stay including cups and cutlery. Lynn was responsive and brought us bath robes for the hot tub when requested. It would have been handy to have the entrance to the pod looking out onto the hot tub to save walking round to come in and out of the pod but not a dealbreaker. Overall, a lovely stay!

We had the most perfect stay at Redwood Lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was peaceful and relaxing — exactly what we were looking for. The setting was beautiful and quiet, ideal for a getaway. The highlight for us was definitely the hot tub — it was spotless, warm, and the perfect way to unwind while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. We couldn’t have asked for more and would absolutely return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Martins place was beautiful, kids loved the hot tub. The surroundings were gorgeous, it was a great place to explore Northumberland! Martin was the perfect host, very easy to communicate with and very helpful. The lodge was super comfy and clean.

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

Absolutely amazing stay at this cabin. It was gorgeous, both inside and out and the hot tub just added that extra special touch. The interior and exterior were pristine and had everything we needed. It was brilliant from start to finish and all set against a beautiful backdrop of stunning Scottish hills. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay and we’re looking at booking this again in the near future. All round, a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience!!

Loverly time staying at the accommodation, perfect for what we wanted.

We had a beautiful holiday here and Rosie and Jim were more than accomodating. The lodge was stunning, comfortable and the views/animals are truly stunning. Rosie is an amazing host who greets you with as much information as you wish when you arive then leaves you alone to your own devices unless you need to contact her. Which is perfect if you are looking to keep private as the lodge itself feels very private. Finally the surrounding areas are just a short drive away and I highly recommended Coulter Fell if you are up for a hike! Thank you Rosie for being an incredible host and for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lodge. It made this week truly magical for me and my family.

Went on a couples trip with 8 people to Julia’s gorgeous place. Was everything and more we could’ve hoped for. The pictures do not do the view justice!!! Very clean and well equipped, was so memorable.

Just great! Overnight stay en route to Highlands. Would definitely stay again! Very comfortable. Bigger than thought it would be. Helpful comms. Imaginative treats on arrival! Nice walks all around. Exactly as described and a bit more!

The snug is perfect, so beautifully decorated and feels very cosy and homely. Sara provided everything you could possibly need for a weekend away which was incredible, the little goodie basket was such a treat. Communication with Sara was extremely easy and even when contacted on a Sunday, Sara replied to messages quickly. Sara is so an excellent host and we can’t wait to return to the amazing snug again! Thank you Sara for a brilliant stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Starling’s Rest! Whilst the home is tiny there is everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Amelia was responsive and helpful with local recommendation for us and our dog. We would definitely recommend! Thanks Amelia :)

What a beautiful and wonderful place. The grounds are unreal and you are sitting right next to a river - so relaxing! There is very little signal which is just what I needed. I enjoyed listening to all the wonderful sounds of nature and hearing the owl hooting at night! The owners are so friendly and were happy to show us around the farm which was really kind of them. We went as an adult family with our dog however, this would also be the perfect place as a couple or with a young family. There’s enough space in between pods that it feels private and super quiet. We did have an issue with outside lights which the owners weren’t able to fix during our stay however, they did come down with an alternative of flood lights which worked grand. Please bare in mind that it is a working farm and you can tell how hard they work so even if there is a slight delay in comms they will get back in touch asap - probably just out taking care of their hundreds of lovely animals. what can I say? All the reviews about Herdy Lodge were spot on. To take a teenager away from his playstation to somewhere so quiet I was nervous. That ended when we arrived, just how lovely this place is cannot be described. So peaceful yet loads to do. My son and I have fallen in love with the lake district, my dog has a new found love of sheep and chickens. From arriving and receiving lovely treats and eggs from the farm, to the amazing locations to walk our dog. But so much more than that ... to hear my son ask when we can go back has made me smile driving all the way home to Watford. Andrew & Alison thank you for letting us stay at your gorgeous home. We'll be back next half term. I can guarantee that. Already missing our walks around Talkin Tarn. If I could give 20 🌟 I would.

Fantastic stay at Barn Owl Lodge. Very peaceful, beautiful views and a wonderful hot tub. The lodge itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely like to stay again 🙂

Had a lovely weekend here with the dogs, there was so much space for them to run around! Loved the bench overlooking the view - added bonus of loads of deer in the surrounding fields. Truly a nature lovers paradise!

We had a wonderful stay at Lotte’s cabin. It was exactly as the description, yet even more tranquil than we’d imagined. The cabin is beautifully designed, spacious, and the view from the picture window is incredible. It’s a location we felt honoured to be able to spend a few nights in. With friendly horses as neighbours and waking up to birdsong. We enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub both nights, and had such good weather we could sit out on the deck for dinner one night. A friendly Robin joined us too! Lotte was friendly and helpful via message during our stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location and lovely private cabin. The silence was such a welcome! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape a busy life and relax in the middle of a beautiful country side. Hosts are excellent and very welcoming.

Had the best stay at Austin lodge ! Everything was immaculate very cosy and worth every penny. Lennox and Leah always responded very quickly and were able to answer every question I had. Location was perfect had lovely wooded walks and not too far from centre. Will most definitely be back.

Modern, clean, well equipped, Nick was super helpful and gave us really useful tips on using the park and ride and tram for a fantastic day trip into Edinburgh. The Kelpies are also a short drive away and well worth a visit.

Rob, I can’t thank you more mate the best experience I’ve had in a lifetime such a amazing place to stay, such a hidden gem the price needs to be doubled then doubled again for the value of this beauty. Lovely 2 night stay at this beautiful lodge! Clean, spacious and smenities were fantastic. We will definitely return upon our next visit to the region!

I think the little carriage is wonderful. Its location is pretty stunning and it’s got everything you’d want in such a compact form. I also thought the welcome basket was really nice (the home made lemon drizzle cake was very tasty!!) It was our first trip away with our puppy and he absolutely loved running around. Also it was our first time visiting the borders and the guide booklet was really helpful and gave some useful tips on local amenities, cafes and restaurants etc. Overall a very lovely place, well presented and super private. Thank you!
