Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Peaks Island

Chris was a really great host, super responsive and helpful! There was a snow storm during our stay and Chris was super accommodating. Just overall gave us peace of mind and was very kind. The Airbnb was beautiful and the city view from the window was spectacular! Highly recommend staying at this Airbnb!

We loved staying here. First, Jack was very accommodating to our check in and check out (winter storm!) time. He was quick with answering us. The place was perfect for us and our dog- it was very quiet compared to most city apartments. It felt like we were alone in the whole building! The location couldn’t have been more perfect. We walked to every place we wanted to eat and visit. Most places are about a short and easy 8 minute walk. Other reviews have mentioned the church bells being loud- we did not feel this way. We wouldn’t have even noticed them if not mentioned. The space was clean and minimally decorated. Beds are firm but comfortable and the shower was beautiful. Our only “critique” would be to please offer a full body mirror. The only mirror in the apartment was in the bathroom and you can’t get a good idea of your whole outfit LOL. Thank you Jack!

We enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The beach is a one minute walk to the end of the block. The unit is a very nice accommodation, neat and clean. The pictures very accurately represent the property. A nice place to stay.

Super clean and cozy, and a short stroll to everything Freeport has to offer. Jennifer and Jay were excellent hosts.

Everything was great! Roger was wicked responsive and had provided some print out recommendations which were super helpful and even museum passes! Place was located in a quiet back road about a 20 min walk to old port.

Ciara's place has a spectacular view that captivated us from the moment we walked into the living room! The apartment is on the top floor of a 3-story older home, located in a convenient area with free and easy parking on the street out front, or within the gated lot behind the house. The area was nice and quiet, and the Tenants living there full time were very friendly. Ciara's neighbors even helped us with our luggage. Be aware that you must navigate stairs to the 3rd floor, and the last flight of stairs to Ciara's unit are a little tight. The apartment is cute and comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. It was very hot during our stay, so the AC in the living room was helpful & necessary. We wished there was AC in the bedroom, but the positives of the Property outweighed the negatives and we throughly enjoyed our stay regardless of the heat. We didn't want to leave that view! We loved the location by the Promenade. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

Loved this spot! Phoebe and George's place was incredible, it's right in the center of Old Port Portland and walkable to so many restaurants, shops, and coffee shops. The apartment looks just like photos too! It had everything I needed for my few weeks up in Portland (things for cooking, linens, toiletries, etc). I worked remotely while I was there and the wifi was great- never had a issue with it. I highly recommend Phoebe and George's place for anyone wanting to stay in Portland! I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Portland!

My family and I love Sandy’s place. Lots of room, so comfortable and very clean! Sandy is so easy to communicate with and is always quick to reply! Close to the beach to take the dogs for a run in the winter months, close to town for restaurants, bowling, shopping. And just a great place to hang out, watch football, play games, or make pizza in the wood fired pizza oven! This is our second stay and we’ll be back.

My family and I stayed at Michael and Naomi's home in Falmouth and we had a blast! Their home is lovely and comfortably fit 4 adults and a toddler. We visited in August and had a couple of sticky days and were so happy that they had AC units throughout the home. This allowed our toddler to nap and us to relax in comfort. Their kitchen was well stocked with various coffees, creamers and all the cookware we needed to make our meals. The home was a short walk away from Mackworth Island and a quick 5m drive to Portland. It made getting around so easy! Michael and Naomi were very responsive and flexible with our arrangements and we would absolutely stay in the future! We loved it.

Nancy was very responsive and kind. She also assisted with snow blowing us so we could get out and allowed for more time to get out due to the weather. Location was perfect. Walkable to everything. House was as described. Retro look was awesome! Plenty of linen and towels. Open concept kitchen and living room made for a great family space.

This was absolutely the perfect spot to spend a cozy New Year's visit. The views all around are breathtaking and the house is set far back from the road and very quiet. And the house was absolutely pristine. If you are like me and are picky about your bedding I can assure you that you won't be disappointed! The mattresses and pillows were super comfy and the sheets were lovely! You will rest so well! Also - if you have the opportunity, definitely visit Reid State park. It's about 25 minutes away and absolutely worth the trip.

Great spot with a lot of space you never feel like you are on top of each other. Gas station and restaurants within a 1 min drive. Grocery store 5 min drive.

Clean, bright, beautifully appointed home. Host was thoughtful and easy to communicate with. This unit is in a quieter Portland neighborhood. There are a dozen great shops and restaurants within a few blocks, but it won't get loud at night the way some areas can. Bedrooms are on the third floor, and the soundproofing is excellent.

My friends and I came to stay at this Airbnb during the weekend of a winter storm, and the host graciously offered to shovel the driveway for us! This home was so beautiful and spacious. We’d definitely come back again!

Amazing place. Incredible views. Really cool lay out. Bathrooms are a little funky but fits the loft style feel. Can’t beat the location and a parking spot to boot. The only negative was that the hosts instructions felt overly legal and far reaching. We didn’t have any problems with the host but it did not leave a warm and fuzzy feeling to be honest.

Gerry's place was perfect for our stay in Portland. My 3 adult children and I had plenty of room. The house is close to the Old Port, the highway and other Maine points of interest. We were close to our relatives' house for Thanksgiving! I would highly recommend Gerry's place!!

Clean. Moderately priced. Suited our needs . Driveway was glare ice. Salt would have been helpful.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The train does go right behind the place at an intersection. The horn is very loud, which was hard for our toddler. Just something to consider if you’re traveling with infants/toddlers. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Steph’s place in Portland. The location is great and is near many restaurants and bars. Steph provided many recommendations on different spots within the city. We were within walking distance to everything in the Old Port area. The included parking spot is super convenient as well. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. The shower has super strong pressure and the hot water may not get super hot at times. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to stay again when we visit Portland.

We stayed here for my wife’s birthday. It’s central to all activities and has amazing views of the ocean. Unit was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Will stay here again!!

Great location to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants, art district, theatre, etc in town. Cute and cozy condo in a building with beautiful original character. The list of recommendations was appreciated and helpful. Host was very responsive and friendly and flexible when possible. We enjoyed our stay here for our first visit to Portland!

My family and I stayed for Prelude 2024 - perfect location!! Was easily walkable to everywhere in town. The unit was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend and would stay again!
