Vacation rentals with a patio in Paynes Bay Beach

Well, where do I start ! From the moment I contacted Esther she was very response to all my questions. We were greeted with a smile and instructions to make ourselves at home, and that's what it truly was for the whole of our stay. The apartment was so comfortable with all the facilities that you needed, and the AC in the bedrooms was brilliant with the fans in the lounge/diner being more than sufficient. Esther and her family were so kind, offering us lifts to and from the beach which was a 20 minute walk(we oftened declined as we liked/needed the exercise!) The apartment is in a lovely area, where we felt safe, even walking home at night( obviously you keep alert and take the same precautions as you would at home and wherever you are in the world!) We truly felt more than just guests. Top tip, if you sit by the front door at night, look over to the welcome sign where, if you're lucky 2 whistling frogs peep out, if you're quiet enough !Esther and family, thank you. We will be back.

I have been travelling to Barbados for 52 years. This is the first time for my stay in this area. Easy access to the nearby beach (10 min walk). Close to buses for destinations around the island. They provided extra items in the kitchen which helped in prepping meals. We enjoyed the cold Banks beer on arrival. We enjoyed the garden area for relaxing and reading our books. They picked up and returned us to the airport for a reasonable price. Highly recommend this cozy cottage. jeannie

Apartment is in a great location in Dover, it's very private, with a large balcony, where you can chill day or night. It's extremely spacious and you have a lovely large swimming pool,all to yourself. You have a small supermarket, 2 min walk. It's a short walk to Dover beach and St Lawrence Gap, where there's plenty restaurants, bars and evening entertainment. Dulene, is a fabulous host, she is extremely friendly and is always around to assist you with anything you need help with! The apartment has all you require for a long or short stay in beautiful Barbados.

We stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks, Ramsay communicated everything well and responded to all my questions prior to arriving. Giving us clear directions and instructions on how to access the property before we travelled to Barbados. We was pleasantly surprised with how spacious the apartment was and very clean and modern. I would suggest a car would be needed for this location but it is very central to get to the south and Bridgetown with very very regular public transport on the main roads, which made it easy to get around. The locals in the neighbourhood were very friendly and we immediately felt safe in the small community. The apartment has great amenities, however one recommendation would to have either a toaster or grill available. We would stay here again 100% / recommend to others as it was well worth what we paid.

As we say in Hawaiian....No Ka Oi!! The Best. Esther, Donna , and Dave were the greatest. Surf shop across the street, as well as beaches, and 22 minute walk to Oistin's. The apartment was as clean as a whistle. Great Bajan hospitality. Calling all martial arts practitioners: this is the place to be. Professor Troy, Coach Dan, and Dale.

David’s place is safe. I was able to walk to a near by surfing hotspot within 10 minutes, and the famous Oistins is. A 10 minute taxi or 20 minute walk

The hosts, married couple, were wonderful. The place was clean ... the neighborhood was nice and safe ... the beach, Starbucks, Clifton Market ... supermarket and church ... all within 15 minutes walking. I never waited for more than a few minutes for a reply to a message. I will stay here ... at this home ... again ... when I return to Barbados later this year. I have been to hundreds of properties ... I usually do not leave reviews ... but I must give credit here ... where credit is due.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was lovely and clean, not to far from the beach. Rosemary, the host, was really nice, accessible and made our stay even better and easier.

Chantal helped me after I had booked the wrong dates for my stay - she was very accommodating and helpful. Stephanie welcomed us to the property and I was pleased not only with the check-in and walk around, but also with the feeling that I had a home from home. I have stayed in the area before, but when one books somewhere new, there’s always a nagging feeling that things won’t go smoothly. I was delighted with the welcome and to find that the house had more than enough utensils ( cooking and cleaning,) consumables (toilet rolls,) sheets, towels and beach towels as well as a barbecue and huge smart tv 😀 Thankyou to Chantel, to Stephanie and to Anna and Kay for making our stay such a pleasure. We had a wonderful six-week stay! Ricardo and Denise are kind and gracious people. They welcomed us warmly and provided us with clear instructions on how the house and its amenities functioned. Ricardo and Denise were attentive to our needs and made great recommendations. The home is private and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful backyard to relax and entertain. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will be back !!!

Beautiful well taken care of home, plenty of space for family of 6. We used the front porch/ veranda more than any other part of the house. The breeze just takes you away and slip in little naps. The road next to home is busy but we didn’t mind as it was part of the town and people. Close walk to beach, catching public transport and Supermarket made quick meals accessible. House manager Donner is absolutely amazing the most caring heart and hospitality. Would for sure recommend to first time and returning visitors.

_The villa is conveniently situated in the northern part of the island, featuring 24-hour security, shuttle ride or free parking by the beach, free towels and chairs, big community pool and other amenities. Our group of eight, including four children, had an excellent time despite challenging weather conditions. The management team was proactive, placing sandbags and providing extra flashlights to cope with Hurricane Beryl. They were always just a text or call away, assisting with pool timer adjustments, sending technicians for minor repairs, and rearranging cleaning schedules due to the hurricane. Moreover, we had no issues with the internet, kitchen appliances & utensils, towels, or insects which we have faced with other rentals in the past. Finally one area for improvement is mosquito control; while they provided measures for protection, the mosquitoes were many and persistent. We would recommend to include some repellent sprays to prevent exposure. Overall, it was a pleasant experi

Fantastic stay at Roseann's place. They looked after us very well without intruding. The location is superb for accessing any bit of the island. The property is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Highly recommended and we hope to return in the future.

My friend and I had a fantastic stay at Lorraine's Airbnb. The location was private yet close to the beach and so many great restaurants. We spent every afternoon by and in the private pool in the backyard. Late each afternoon we were entertained by the green monkeys and one cat that would make their way through Lorraine's property. The house is very spacious and the air conditioning in each of the bedrooms was welcomed. There is no AC in the living room, dining room or kitchen, so it can be a little warm in these area's, but the portable fans did help. I would definitely recommend Lorraine's Airbnb and if I find my way back to Barbados, I will not hesitate to book Lorraine's Airbnb again.

this is a beautiful home . my partner and I love this place & it was very peaceful for our Christmas trip. the house was clean upon arrival. the host was reachable & answered any questions that i had. I did not have any concerns that's how lovely this house is. we will book again

Four of us just spent 6 nights at this condo and found it to be perfect for us. Clean and quiet in a good location. Our host was excellent. Very prompt in answering our many questions. We highly recommend this location and will definitely consider staying here again.

Lantana condos worked great for us. Bus stop right out front $3.50 barbados each. We used it most days to travel up and down the west coast to lots of different beaches and was great. Rented a car 3 days to tour the rest of the island. Eva the cleaning lady is very sweet. We had a fabulous time!

From the beginning when we reserved the place, if we had any questions i sent the to her and they were answered in a timely manner and then some. We were told about the beaches and restaurants near by and Tina the other host I was in contact with was great to work with as well. She was messaging me about a couple of broken things and let us know right away and was always getting back to me via WHATS APP on all the other stuff that came up. I wish I would of got to meet her in person. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Barbados and i would stay at Lantana again. Thanks again.

Barbados is our happy place and we have visited a number of times. We always stay near to Freights Bay for the surfing, and I stumbled upon Simones place during my search because it was a walkable distance. From the outset, Simone was kind, friendly, helpful and efficient. When we arrived we were so pleased with the Condo! It was immaculately clean and has absolutely everything you could need. It’s a real home from home. We think it’s our favourite so far. The photos, if anything, don’t do it justice. You really won’t be disappointed. It’s peaceful and feels safe and it’s wonderful to see the Monkeys going about their business from the kitchen window. The rooftop balcony is a haven. We always rent a car and it would be a benefit to do this we feel, although the walk down to Miami was beautiful. Special thank you to Ms Elizabeth who pops in and cleans, she does a fantastic job. I’m sure we will be back. Thank you.

Lovely accommodation in a great location for St Lawrence Gap. Becky was brilliant with information and communication. Would definitely recommend and look to book again in the future!

Loved the property, great location with small private beach, and pool. Located on saint Lawrence gap so close to a number of restaurants and bars. This was a great base for us to explore more of the island. The condo is a fully equipped home with all you need. We stayed 2 weeks and so it was cleaned fully after our first week. June the local host is lovely and was able to answer any queries we had which were few. Will miss the amazing view from the terrace, which is just stunning and the sound of the ocean as you fall asleep every night. Other guests at mistle cove were also lovely. Highly recommend this property!

Spacious, comfortable well equipped modern apartment with beautiful furnished outdoor living area Great pool area with modern sun loungers Small very quiet and peaceful development with occasional visits from a group of delightful monkeys. Minutes from Richard Haines boardwalk, shopping centre and very good restaurants. All in all a great place to stay, would return !

We absolutely loved our stay at Andrew's condo. Andrew was very helpful and responded quickly. He was a pleasure. He is new to airbnb and I feel he will be a "Super Host" in no time! It is very nice, very comfortable, kitchen was equipped to make proper meals. The location was perfect for us, steps away from bus stop and ZR if you want to venture further away. We walked every where and it was perfect! We will definitely return. thank you for sharing your home!
