Family-friendly vacation rentals in Paso Robles

The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful Hari’s place is. The views of the surrounding hills and the paradise back yard were especially great. We stayed for a few days with our four kids and puppy all of whom enjoyed running around in the back yard. Hari also allowed us to use the fire pit out back and so we enjoyed roasting s’mores one night. All in all a great stay with a responsive host.

Our family (3 generations, 5 adults, 1 child) had a wonderful 3 night stay at this incredibly beautiful property over New Year’s. The house was well-equipped, and had a perfect layout for us, with 2 in-suite bedrooms at one end and another, with an extra bed, at the other, with one at each end opening onto patios with views. The landscaping was gorgeous, with amenities like a fire pit in a seating area perched above the long view down to the lake and off to the mountains. The pool added to the visual appeal though it was unheated and we didn’t try it. The property was so beautiful that, although we had planned several hikes in the area, we chose not to leave it, instead walking the 1 mile driveway to the gate and back once or twice each day and otherwise playing ping-pong, darts, and cornhole (all provided) or our own invented challenge of frisbee over the pool. Perfect!Parents of young children should be aware though that the pool is central to the landscaping and can’t be closed off.

We loved our stay in this beautiful area. From the charming, cozy cottage, to the beautiful sunsets and stunning views, this place has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We hope to come back soon.

Beautiful home and great location! The host, Allison, was very accommodating and a great communicator. We didn’t run into any issues and the house was very clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Ranch House! Our host, Martin, was very friendly and checked in to ensure we had everything needed during our stay. The house is located on a quiet street, which was great for morning walks. There's ample to do in the area. We would happily stay here again.

Thank you for the great stay and flexibility. My only suggestion would be to have a Keurig (sp?) coffee machine. It is easier than making a full pot of coffee for one or two people. But there may be others that prefer the type that is in the unit. The location was great and amazing hosts that were fun to talk to. Thanks!

Really great house very well located to downtown Paso. Go for wine tasting @ lunchtime and enjoy the pool in the afternoon. Kitched is equipped with the essencials, BBQ outside, that sofa in the living room is Dangerous if you don't like naps 🤣

Our stay was absolutely great, so much to do and WOW what a great back yard setup with so much to see and do. The house is also very nicely built with plenty of space for large families to just relax and enjoy the county views. My communication with Terry was so easy with very quick response, so I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to definitely look into staying here you will have a great time. Thank you for letting us stay at your home it felt like home to us.

Great peaceful place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, countryside but yet still close to wineries and downtown.

I’ve been staying at Airbnb’s for more than 10 years and Bill’s casita is one of my absolute favorites. I thought the beds were comfortable, surroundings peaceful, kitchen was useful - and feeding the goats with my daughter and hot tubbing were such a fun experience. I also appreciated the coffee and snacks, which feels above and beyond. This is how Airbnb used to be :)

What a beautiful place in a beautiful spot. Walk over the dunes to the massive coast. Short ride to great small towns, good food, museums and close to San Luis Obispo.

I just can't say enough good things about our stay. The location was amazing! We loved walking around and seeing all the birds and plant life. We loved that Morro Bay State Park was just a short drive away and we enjoyed the Bay & the sea otters that live there were very entertaining. It was lovely to come back and soak in the spa and enjoy the beautiful back yard after spending the day exploring the area. I would love to stay a gain in the future.

When I look for an AirBNB, my priorities are always 1) Privacy 2) Outdoor space with BBQ 2) Hot Tub. Kylee's place was perfect. We cooked fresh local fish and oysters on the BBQ and my husband enjoyed the hot tub every morning. In addition, we purchased some firewood and enjoyed each other's company around the awesome firepit. Kylee was always quick to respond. Everything in her place worked great. It was so clean, so cute-ly decorated and the beds were all very comfortable. Five stars all around.

Loved everything about this space and stay. Only downside was having neighbors around, thought it would be more private.

We stayed here with one other couple and the space worked amazingly well. Each couple essentially had their own wing, with shared space in the center (living room and kitchen) as well as outdoors - hot tub, fire pits, couches, bocce area… The spacious, well-provisioned kitchen and outside grill had everything we needed to prepare breakfasts and a fantastic New Year’s dinner. Miwon provided great recommendations prior to our stay. This advance notice enabled us to procure a wine tasting and dinner reservations at our preferred times. One stellar recommendation was Epoch winery. The house is located on a hill, which made for a tranquil stay while also being very close to town. Most restaurants were only a 5-10 minute drive. Thanks, for your hospitality, Miwon! We hope to return the next time we visit Paso Robles.

Extremely great value for the location and size. Great price for what you get! Location is so insanely great and close to everything you could need downtown (bars, wine, Italian, French food, breakfast, coffee, pizza, everything!). Free parking, lots of additional, close parking in the front. Nice backyard area. The home is quaint, it has not been recently updated and has a cabin feel. Overall great value. Accommodating and communicative hosts. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great weekend at Sally's place, she has been a fantastic host. The accommodation was nice and spacious in a beautiful location, would definitely recommend!

I had a great experience staying at Gina's place for an extended stay while on a clinical rotation. She was very flexible about the move-in and offered lots of help and suggestions while moving to the area. It was very peaceful with a beautiful view of the surrounding vineyards. I really enjoyed hanging out and soaking up the sun with all the furry friends on the balcony whenever I had a break. There are lots of great food suggestions in the surrounding areas and each coastal town was an easy drive to see the ocean. Thanks Gina, and I cannot recommend this place strongly enough.

Gloria and Greg's cottage in San Miguel was a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay on the Central Coast. It was well appointed, and the amenities included were appreciated. Having the Bison to visit was a bonus. We would definitely recommend their place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Paso Robles area.

Charming farmhouse in a beautiful location. Loved the furnishings and felt right at home, with the morning coffee/tea. Especially loved the thoughtful touches with the bedside chocolates, s'more supplies, and my favorite-the nightlights which helped when having to get up during the night. Overall, very pleasant stay and would love to come back sometime. Thank you.
