We just had the one night at Gordon and Liz’s place and it met all our needs. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. Lovely private native setting.

We LOVED our stay here. So peaceful and beautiful. We loved being able to walk and explore the area, and it was close to a great restaurant and lots of beautiful beaches. The house was clean, cosy and calm. Instructions were clear and well thought out with lots of recommendations for the area.

The beach was just a short walk away, offering pristine sands and crystal-clear waters. Whether you're looking to unwind with a good book, take long beach walks, or have an adventure-filled getaway, this bach has it all. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail of my stay was perfect. I felt truly pampered and left completely refreshed. I can't recommend this beach bach highly enough – it's the perfect escape for anyone looking to experience the best of coastal living especially with little people as the space to explore was perfect 🌊🏡✨

I was there for my grand daughters 1st birthday and was pleasantly surprised to find a present for my grand daughter when I arrived.

We enjoyed our stay, it was fit for purpose, a place that was calm and we all felt relaxed and well rested. The views, the sunsets and sunrises were outstanding. This is not a complaint, but the outdoor room did not have power. We were ok with that as there was enough light from the lighting on the deck. Pleas check it out as others may complain. I appreciate that you were more than happy to come to the house, but we did not feel it was necessary. I loved the beautiful flowers, the plants, the tui’s singing and it is quite possible we may have heard a Kiwi. The kitchen was well equipped, it had everything we needed, appreciated the first aid box too. Best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Thank you.

Me and my family travelled for a birthday that was in the area at the barge Showgrounds just walking distance from the location. We all enjoyed our stay everything you could need was provided also the suggestions of restaurants and things to do in the area you left on the chalkboard was great thank you for that. I could tell she looks after the place and is really thoughtful for her guests also really responsive and a lovely person. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet so I didn’t get to thank you in person but thank you to Jacinta and family we had a great time staying here and would definitely recommend to anyone else looking to stay in Whangārei❤️❤️❤️

Great property overall, would love to go back at some stage! Water activities on the back doorstep and peaceful setting with an amazing view. Bonus points for having kayaks, sun loungers and water equipment activities readily available to use at the bach, such a great touch. Would recommend to others and would like to go back at some stage. Thanks!
