We had a very nice weekend in Huntsville at the Aux Box and were very happy with the accommodations

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The jacuzzi and sauna were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings made it a great escape from the city. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

This was the BEST AirBnb we have ever stayed in. The pictures absolutely do not do this place justice, the natural light is out of this world! The location is stunning and just the right amount of remote (30 minutes away from Hunstville) that allowed for a peaceful, relaxing retreat! The amenities were very high end, notably, heated floors throughout, incredible coffee bar with cappuccino maker, fridge with beverage station, not to mention the sauna and hot tub outside! Everything was so easy to use and we truly felt pampered. Michael and Maria were so kind and communicative and you can tell how much effort they put in to this place. Would recommend to all of my family and friends!

Host made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of games and activities for the kids, all our questions were answered ahead of time. Very positive experience, will recommend to friends!

I would 100% stay here again. The apartment was fantastic, extremely clean and cozy! We didn't have many concerns or requirements during our stay, so we didn't have much interaction with Marsha outside of our check in and check out instructions. Check in was super easy and directions were clear. Check out was also extremely simple and had extremely basic requests for checking out. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would for sure recommend staying with Marsha.

Lesley was a fabulous host. Our family totally enjoyed our time staying right on the rivers edge with a stunning view. The cabin and bunkie have a cozy vibe but tons of room for our extended family. There are lots of amenities to enjoy creating a great getaway. It was a special experience- the setting, the peace and the memories made. Can’t wait to return!

Great little spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. We really enjoyed spending our evenings in the hot tub under the stars. Beautiful views outdoors and everything we needed indoors. Would definitely return.

Heather went above and beyond to make our stay feel special with personalized touches. She even surprised us with a birthday cake to celebrate! She communicated effectively and responded quickly to our messages. The A itself is absolutely beautiful, cozy and very relaxing! The views of the lake are spectacular as well. We will definitely be returning!

Good value. We were looking for something humble and didn't want to break the bank. This is a very nice spot with that special something. We were snowed in our entire stay but the space was well set up for that, with TV's in each room with internet and apps. Really kind host. I would recommend this place and we would book again.

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

Patricia was a helpful host, very friendly and accommodating. Her place was peaceful, had a beautiful lake view. It was cute, cozy with rustic vibes. It was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. Also, the location is close to Screaming Heads and different hiking trails perfect for seeing the autumn foliage.

Enjoyed our stay at Glenn Burney Lodge. Owner was very helpful and communicative, proximity to restaurant was great, privacy and seclusion of cabin made us comfortable on a first trip with our dog that he wasn’t going to annoy others if he barked a lot (which he didn’t…yay!). Overall, a very positive experience.

My husband and I had a really lovely time here for my birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city; private, quiet, and surrounded by trees in beautiful Baysville. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property and go on daily walks to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and charming and had all the modern comforts we could need. The bathroom was especially nice! Though it was a chilly/rainy weekend, we stayed warm by the fire, used the SmartTV to catch up on shows, and powered our way through a thousand piece puzzle! All in all very relaxing. The hosts were also friendly, responsive and flexible; we’d book again!

An absolutely stellar place to get away from it all. The lake, just steps from the door, was beautiful and the small mouth bass we caught, tasty! We took our two older pups and they give it two paws up. They highly recommend lounging on the back deck to watch the ducks and beavers go by. We definitely recommend getting out on the water, looking back at the cabin you get to see just how amazing it all is. While rustic, Paul & Tannis have created an inviting space worth visiting...again and again.

This cottage is chic, serene and was lovely to unplug for a few days. It looks exactly as described. It’s tastefully decorated and thoughtfully laid out with a shuffle board, games, art essentials, a well-stocked pantry, plush bath robes. The wood stove inside and sauna outside was a bonus and great touch. The cabin is set amidst 100 acres of private land, we went on hikes, our dog loved it. It’s a short drive to Bracebridge town. We drove to High Falls in Muskoka which was beautiful. Taylor was super responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

It was great staying Misty River Cabin. The area was beautiful. My family enjoyed the stay and our dog love all the outdoor space to play fetch. Close drive to bracebridge made this location perfect for us as it allowed us to visit some of the local breweries there. The Cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. Would definitely come back in the future.

We loved our stay! The cabin was exactly as described – clean, modern, and well-equipped. Stephen was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was fine. It an isolated remote community but that is fine with us. It was a little chilly the first few nights, but they turned on some heaters before we arrived, which was fine. You’re looking for peace and quiet. This is a good place.. I tried fishing by the docks, but they didn’t get any bites, but there is a bridge nearby and you can park and I caught a lot of fish in that location

What a gem. This is a beautifully rustic spot in the woods for a gentle getaway on the water. There’s a bit of a scramble up a hill from the brand new dock (with amazing swimming and lovely afternoon sun!) to a sweet little cabin - everything you need for a comfier-than-camping holiday. There’s all the kitchen basics you need, and the wood stove makes it super cozy. The lake is quiet and the neighbours friendly. It’s a great spot for a lazy day in the dock, or a more adventurous day trip into Massasauga provincial park. Geoff was very responsive when the power went out and offered to come up to fix it right away. But we preferred to spend our last night in the warm glow of candlelight and wood stove. Highly recommend.

Nicole was a fantastic host. Her place was super cozy and well supplied, has everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. Highly recommend staying at boom-shack-a-la. 11/10.

We spent labor day weekend at the bunkie and absolutely loved it! It had everything we need with incredible views. The outdoor shower was lovely.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.

Our stay at this Muskoka cabin was perfect for unwinding. Eliza and Safiqa were both amazing hosts. The 50s vintage decor and cedar furniture created a cozy atmosphere, and the serene lake views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the pedal boat, and the outdoor BBQ space for meals with a gorgeous lake view. There were also lots of activities to do only 15-20min from the cabin which was an added bonus. Our stay had been a fantastic retreat to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommended!
