Excellent host, home and location. Family stayed here for a wedding in area, and it did not disappoint. Will definitely use this host again!

We were very comfortable here. There was plenty of room for everyone in our large family and lots things to do in the evening after our day was done -- games, movies, making s'mores and relaxing at the firepit. Bonnie responded to questions right away and was an excellent host.

We loved our stay at Jared’s cozy cabin! It’s extremely close to the village (less than a 1 mile walk) although there are no sidewalks so walk at your own risk! The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and walkable. The house is a bit aged but just means it has character :) We had to reschedule our trip originally due to the fire in the area and Jared was very communicative, patient, and accommodating while we were deciding how to proceed with rescheduling. I would recommend this home and host!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this property! The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It had all the appliances we needed, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Getting inside is quick and easy, just make sure you call the office and double check the right office address ahead of your stay (the office address on apple map is outdated) We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the care put into maintaining the space. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and stylish stay!

Our stay in Big Bear was amazing. The cabin was located in a central spot in town so access to the village was extremely easy. There are lots of amenities in the cabin that make the stay more comfortable and Doug was a friendly host who provided quick responses and lots of local recommendations to us.

The cabin was a cozy slice of life during our stay there. Perfect for two people looking to be somewhere close to nature while also not being to fsr from local towns and trails. Parking was a bit tricky to park into but nothing troublesome. The bedroom up top was warm and cozy. They provided all the essential guides and features to keep the house warm during the cold nights. It was the best place to stay for our anniversary!

We absolutely LOVED Shelly’s place! It was everything described and more! She was incredibly friendly and responsive, like chatting with a friend. I was initially (semi) worried that it wouldn’t be too kid friendly as her photos we’re gorgeously decorated, but I was amazed to see that she had some toys out in which my little ones enjoyed playing with. Easy and quick walk to the lake and park which was great for our littles. The condo was beautifully curated and amenities well thought out- the comfort of being in the privacy of a condo/cabin with the hospitality of a hotel (but much better!) Thank you, Shelly! We can’t wait to be back.

The woodsy decor was cool and the added Christmas tree was a plus for our winter get-away. The utilities were great. Hot water was almost instantaneous! Even though the whole cabin was equipped with central heat, there were portable heaters and blankets in all rooms, just in case, for those that want a little more, without cranking up the entire place. The portable was also great for drying off ski jackets and pants hung behind the front door! Even though we didn’t use, for those that want/need even more heat can utilize the wood fireplace, with a blower!! Another part of the rental we didn’t use, but maybe better suited during spring or summer stays is the good size back yard! Overall, the accommodation was clean and well maintained, and perfect for our 2 families; and the rental price and location fit our bill! Sophia was friendly and prompt in replies to our questions / messages. Hope you’ll enjoy and have similar experiences!
