Family-friendly vacation rentals in Packwood

Perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. We loved the space, perfect for relaxing and recharging. Plenty of linen, and even a pack n play for the baby. The dog loved it here, and so did we. The hot tub was amazing, perfect for soaking after hiking. Loved the hammock under the trees as well. Super close to Mt Rainer. Would book here again.

Our stay at Frederick’s place was nice and as expected from the listing. Definitely an experienced host with clear instructions and well prepared unit. The beds could have been a little more comfortable, but we’d stay here again regardless.

The cabin was spacious and there was so much space outside to enjoy the natural surroundings. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the separate heat control in each room. The mattresses are on the firmer side so if you are used to a softer mattress you may want an extra blanket for padding. All in all it was an absolute wonderful stay and we would definitely book again. I recommend taking your coffee out onto the spacious porch in the morning and enjoying the sounds of nature and the mountain air!

This cabin has so many thoughtful details and was stocked really well with coffee, hot cocoa, apple cider, popcorn, supplies for smores, lots of towels, lotion. A lot of thought went into everything inside the cabin. We were only there for a night after some hiking around the mountain but it was perfect, our group would’ve liked to stay longer. I will say I think we should have taken advantage of the meal choices that she offers to have stocked. There are so many people in the evening looking to dine at the restaurants that they are packed and grocery options are very limited.

We had a wonderful stay in their home. We were in the area for work for the week and had plenty of room for three grown men. Their neighborhood was quiet, and we slept well each night. The communication the whole time we were there was well beyond expectation as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. The space was great for our family - allowing us to spread out if wanted or all hang out together. Enjoyed the deck area even during the rain - pretty views of the valley and town. Hot tub was great. Kitchen had everything we needed. TVs were actually easy to use. Thank you!

My fiancé and I loved staying here! This place is beautiful and fits the description in the listing, but it is even better in person. The location was great and the cabin was very clean. Plan on coming back very soon.

A group of 3 friends stayed at this cute place near Packwood. The deck is impressive for hanging out and enjoying the views that include Mt. Rainier. The cabin offers much to those who stay: quiet, central location to hiking and other outside activities, well stocked kitchen, privacy, and comfort. Jordan was really responsive and gave great instructions and advice about places to go. Really enjoyed our time and would definitely visit again.

The stay was beautiful and in a good location. However, the host was slow to respond. We reached out 2.5 days in advance of our check in date and we had to reach back out, finally getting a response 15 minutes before check in. We were curious if he provided charcoal for the grill they have and didn’t get the response in a timely manner. Side note charcoal is not provided which is kind of crazy considering how expensive it is for a night and because there wasn’t any condiments provided either, so plan on bringing your own. We also weren’t told that the hot tub maintenance guy was going to show up. He was very friendly, but this was never communicated with us or in any of the information provided to us. A heads up would have been nice. Like others have mentioned, there is a lack of curtains around the home so there is not a lot of privacy. All in all it was a really nice home with great views but given the price per night/cleaning fees the amenities and cleanliness could have been bet

Lovely stay. We loved the location, and the sound of the rushing creek behind the cabin. Easy, basic, and stylish accommodations that met our needs for a little ski weekend nicely.

Such an amazing home in an amazing location! We came to Washington for our son’s engagement, then we came as a group to hike Mt. Rainier. We couldn’t ask for a more picturesque location. Thanks for your hospitality!

What a fantastic cabin for some Mt. Rainier adventures. Cozy and warm and i just love the astatic that the owners choose. Private, quiet and romantic for sure. Hot tub was clean and perfect, private and under the cover of massive trees. Used the tub on cold and rainy night, tress kept much if the cold rain away. Bed was very nice with great linens and blankets. Local deer wanted to befriend me both mornings. Host provided all needed info and some about the local area. A beautiful and cozy cabin to stay at for some privacy and rest after exploring Mt. Rainier. If available in the future, i will definitely return when visiting south Mt. Rainier. 5 stars.

We had a great time at our stay at Pine Lodge. Cabin was spotless, cozily decorated and has plenty of amenities. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing weekend staying here as a group of eight! We spent our time by the fire, cooking delicious meals, playing board games, and even discovering the secret room, which was a fun surprise. It was the perfect opportunity to disconnect for the weekend (there's no WiFi, as mentioned in the listing, but phone reception was still good). While the space was a bit snug for eight adults, it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway!

great value and location for skiing at White Pass 25 minutes away. Check-in was easy and communication was great. The kids had a blast exploring the woods behind the house and floating sticks down the river.

John's home was exactly what we were hoping for. It had all the amenities, space, and beds we needed. Access was easy and convenient. John was easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and was accommodating. We hope to stay again next year.

Great spot for large groups, lots of sleeping areas and spacious for hanging out. Very cozy and on a nice private road part of a country club. The hosts were super responsive and really friendly about making changes to our reservation and having our dog Blue come along!

Great cabin! Loved the great room area for our family. Bring your blow up mattress!! We will stay again. A TV down stairs woukd be nice.

Very responsive for last minute booking request

Chipmunk cabin was super cute and homey. Loved the back with lights and hot tub. It had everything we needed plus more, and it was dog friendly. You're a 5 minute drive away from a fenced in baseball field which was great for the dogs. I didn't realize there we're going to be so many neighbors, but we had no issues. Would recommend.

This place worked out awesome for our large group! It was great to have the 3 separate houses for our family to spread out. We had a great experience, thank you!

This is a sweet place. All of us enjoyed our time escaping to a more rustic cabin. The kids are insisting that we return soon!
