Private suite vacation rentals in Pacific Beach, San Diego

My 3rd time staying and my favorite Airbnb spot in San Diego. Couldn't ask for a better spot or better host!

Laura’s place is super clean. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. The indoor decor is very pretty. Although if you don’t have a car getting around might be very difficult cuz it’s in a private neighborhood and there’s not a lot of restaurants that are close by

Clean, cozy, and comfortable. The neighborhood is peaceful and quaint. The terrace is spectacular. It is an excellent location close to the bay, Old Town, Little Italy, Coronado Bridge, the zoo, and many other attractions. Hosts are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! Greg and Leslie were so welcoming and kind and their home is beautiful and very enjoyable. Hope to be back again soon.

We had an overall quiet and pleasant stay. Lovely, huge property in a safe neighborhood with a good view. Didn't really need anything from the hosts, but they responded quickly to the few texts and messages we did send. We were able to bring our cat instead of kenneling him, thank you SO much for that. Bedroom has a window AC unit that kept the back of the casita nice and cool, and the ceiling fan and open windows were enough for rest of the living area. The bathroom was lovely, amazing shower. The pool was great, and well kept up by a friendly pool guy. You'll have a losing battle against the tree leaves in the water, but they're worth it for the birding opportunities! Just a few caveats that didn't knock down their rating by any means - the kitchenette is rather tiny, and the living areas are dominated by maybe larger than necessary furniture, so if you're travelling with a lot of stuff it can feel a bit crowded. Also, be careful on the uneven stepping stone walkway to the casita.

The space was spotless and of great quality. We loved the little touches of hospitality (hammock in the backyard, electric fireplace, earphones/sleep machine, etc). The place is exactly as advertised with no surprises. We had a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Olga was very nice and welcoming. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching the hummingbirds buzzing around the trees. Would absolutely stay here again.

Irina’s place was just as described and located near the attractions we wanted to go to. Irina’s place was super clean and had everything you would need for a great stay. Irina was a very accommodating and responsive host and we would stay here again if we come back to SD.

Amanda’s place was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The bed was so comfy, the bathroom was clean, and it was very nicely decorated. I liked using the desk to do my homework. It was also nice to have a fridge! Amanda was very communicative and kind. She even let me check in early. Great place!

Perfect studio for 1-2 people. Very clean and modern. Would definitely recommend staying here. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive. Felt right at home.

Tj's place was a great! It was perfect place to stay for our one night in San Diego.

Martha was a wonderful host, even leaving a gift basket for us. She always responded quickly and had good restaurant recommendations. The keypad to enter was a bit temperamental, but we were always able to get in after a few tries. I would definitely recommend Martha’s place.

Although it took me a couple of tries to find Sara's place (couldn't see the house number), once I found it, it was easy to navigate. The private drive and parking is a real perk. The room is downstairs form the main house, so it's got a lot of privacy. I wasn't looking for any extra amenities because I was on a very brief family trip, but Sara's place was unexpectedly comfortable.

We had a great stay at Katia’s place. The apartment was extremely clean, well furnished and had a comfy bed. We enjoyed hanging out on the lounge chairs on the deck. The second bathroom is a huge plus. Excellent location, walkable to a number of restaurants, easy parking on the street. Katia was fun to chat with. Highly recommend this Airbnb.

We enjoyed our stay at Evan’s Boho Studio. Evan was a great host and the studio had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We were there a week while visiting family in La Mesa. It was nice to be able to walk to some restaurants on LaMesa Blvd and the washer/dryer was an added plus. Street parking was always available. There is some noise from the unit upstairs but it was not a problem for us. We will definitely consider Evan’s studio next time we need a place to stay in LaMesa. Thanks Evan for hosting us.

It was a very positive stay. The surf shack studio is large (it looks like a small house), perfectly equipped and quite stylish. Very clean and totally clutter-free. The bed is enormous and I slept well (I am not an easy sleeper). Brett is an easy going, nice host. Location: I did not rent a car. the area is not illuminated after dusk and residential (meaning no shops or eateries close-by) unless you go to UCSD (but food in grocery there was not amazing) or take bus 30 and go to La Jolla, or drive anywhere easily. The departure day was the only half morning I had free from work, and I finally discovered how wonderful the location is. It must be magical in summer. I had a great breakfast at the Scripps, facing the pier (Such a beautiful view!) and from there easily walked to the beach and then La Jolla cove! If you are a fan of public transport, you can reach the airport by bus 30+the Flyer. The only regret I have is not having met the family ginger cat any earlier than at departure!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Lawrence's place. Though close to a freeway, once you close the door you don't hear any noise, and the accommodation was very private. The location was very central to many activities, restaurants, etc. The laundry was very convenient, and parking was easy in the street. We hope to stay here again next time we visit SD.

This place was absolutely perfect for our couple of days in San Diego. It is in a private and safe area but close to everything we needed (by car) and there is on street parking outside the property. Giovanna was very friendly and quick to respond. This is a great place to stay.

What a great room! I stayed for a 2 week work trip and it was everything I needed. I am not great at street parking, so the ability to park in the yard was a fantastic bonus!

We stayed in Karen's place for two weeks and found that it met our needs perfectly. We found our suite to be quite cute, well sized, and functional. Downtown and most inner city locations were accessible by car within a 15 minute drive. Although the kitchen setup is a little unconventional, we had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner each day. Karen herself was quick to offer suggestions for places to visit and was glad to give us a tour of her garden and let us sample some of its fruits. Would would certainly stay here again next time we visit San Diego.
