The second time we rented this house and it was just as lovely this time as we remembered it from the last visit!

We had the most perfect stay, the beds were comfortable and the cabin is super cosy. Lovely and peaceful area. We are looking forward to coming back here!

Really nice cabin! We were there 5 people and there was a lot of space. The cabin is incredibly beautiful. Beautiful view of the valley. Not least from the hot tub on the terrace. Good trail for cross country skiing right behind the cabin. Very helpful host and really good value.

Luxury cabin with plumps toilet :-) The cabin is super cozy, very stylish and furnished to a high standard. The location is idyllic with views of the countryside. Plus a wonderful hot tub with wood stove. The cabin is located on a - not paved - toll road (NOK 50). This can be reached after paying at a gate at the machine with a card. This toll road is surrounded by other toll roads - so don't be surprised if you have to cross a total of 2 barriers to get to the house. A small shopping area is 2 km away, but this is relatively expensive. Basic amenities such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc., should be brought along. Small tip: When you arrive at the address and a chain locks you off the way to the house, then just walk the piece and then you will find the key for the chain in the house. The cabin is amazing - with the coziest beds in the world. We enjoyed our days there incredibly and would come back any time.

Awsome cabin on top of the mountain with a fantastic view. The hot tub took a bit of time to heat up as it was below freezing, but it was worth waiting, as we had clear skies and stars were shining. Will be visiting again, for sure!

We had a wonderful time and immediately felt very comfortable. The hot tube is sensational! If you book this beautiful house in winter, it is recommended to arrive with a car with spikes.

We really enjoyed the cozily furnished cabin in the beautiful surroundings. The large window in the living room allows great views of the mountain views and the hot tub on the snowy terrace is an absolute highlight. Ana was very good at communicating with us and gave us great tips. She was always reachable. For cross-country skiing, the location of the cabin is ideal. There is a cross-country ski trail with connection to a huge network of trails directly from the house and the trail goes through quite level terrain with particularly beautiful nature and magnificent panorama. For downhill skiing, we found the way to the Hemsedal Ski Center quite tedious. As Germans, we are not so trained to drive on icy and partly unclean roads and therefore take quite a long time. For the Norwegians, it will be different.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is ski-in ski-out for cross country and very close to alpine slope. Close to the beautiful mountain hotel and stunning nature views.

Lovely cabin in a good location about 10 minutes drive from Beitostølen (with supermarkets) and close to many great hikes (Bitihorn, Mugnetind, Besseggen, Rasletinden, Raudhorn). The house is so comfortable and well designed, the kitchen is super well equipped with everything you need for cooking meals and baking. The living room is lovely, cosy and beautifully decorated and I like the hunting trophies. We really enjoyed using the sauna followed by a dip in the stream close to the house. We really appreciated the tips and local recommendations from Synne and Alexander and they are both super responsive and helpful. We would love to return to the cabin in winter to see it in the snow! What a place, what a view! It’s like you are in the norwegian Montana! Beautiful authentic place. It’s close / in the national park Langsjua. Beautiful lakes for fishing. There is 12-volt electricity available and a lot of candles :). Cosy place. There is a fenced garden which was great for our dog. Our son was very happy with all the toys and games inside. This is real cabin life! Thanks Trine! You can park the car next to the house. If you drive to the house you will pass a tollroad. It’s around 70 NOK. You can pay by card.

We were in Norway for the first time with three families and enjoyed staying there. In the run-up to the trip, Jon helped us with many excursion tips and advice. Jon was always available and quick to respond to questions, even during our stay. The cabin is very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable there. Especially the living room has invited you to linger with the fireplace and the cozy armchairs and the sofa. In the kitchen there was everything you need to cook for everyone. The cabin has almost direct access to the cross-country skiing trails and you have a beautiful view of the valley. Only the way to the ski resort to Beitostolen was quite long at 25 minutes. However, the roads were cleared of snow daily and possibly sprinkled with gravel. 3 parking spaces are available in front of the house. Conclusion: Great cabin and wonderful nature, especially suitable for cross-country skiing, great host, we would come back!

Very cozy hut, especially on the inside! Just as described, beautiful view and well situated just a 10 minute drive from Beitostølen. The hut is near the main road, but you dont hear the road at all and it feels very private and secluded. Would visit again!

Lovely place! The cabin appears well-maintained and nice, with all the necessary kitchen equipment, comfort, etc. Lots of beautiful hiking opportunities and historical stave churches in the area. The host, Bjørn-Roger, is welcoming, provides useful advice and tips, and has followed us up in an exemplary way from booking to return. Would highly recommend this place!

We only spent one night here, but it was such a cosy place! The fire was on and the house was nice and warm when we arrived. Check-in was very smooth. We can highly recommend this Airbnb.

We enjoyed our time in this cabin very much. Our stay was over the Christmas holidays and New Years Eve. We wanted to enjoy Christmas in the snow and we were not disappointed. The cabin is approximately 3 hours driving distance from Oslo airport and located near the skiing center of Beitostølen where you have everything you need: Ski lifts, a Toboggan lift and short but steep ride, shops, restaurants and a range of cross-country ski-tracks. One of these Nordic skiing tracks also passes the cabin in around 100m distance. So you'll have everything you need close by. The cabin is cozy and lived in, not one of those sterile places just for renting out to tourists. This place has character, the kitchen is well equipped and the kids have a nice area under the roof that they can claim for themselves with tons of games and comic books. Our son was enjoying that very much. We can fully recommend this cabin in the Norwegian nature.

I spent 12 days in this beautiful cozy cabin. Every day we marveled at a magnificent sunrise and sunset over a cozy cup of coffee or tea by the window. One evening we were surprised by more spectacular aurora lights. With oven, gas heating and electric heater, the cabin is comfortably warm. The many trails are also suitable for beginners and the area is predominantly safe from avalanches. Britt is a great host and was always there to help us despite the holidays.

Mette is a very nice host! The place is amazing, lovely view and good location. Lots of great trips nearby and right outside the door. Would definitely recommend the cabin further!

We had a very nice 2 weeks in Kyrstens Hytte. There was nothing missing, very attentive hosts, very good communication. Nice Hytte, good location. We would be happy to come back. Thank you very much.

We have had a wonderful stay in this location. The cabin is located right in a mountainous area where easy, tougher or tough walks (some by car) will take you to breathtaking sceneries in vallies or climbing mountain peaks. The cabin is located at 950m of elevation so expect typical mountain weather that can vary somewhat between days and even during the day. The cabin itself is comfortable with three bedrooms with a outdoor space in a southerly sunny direction. Marianne as host has been very friendly, very knowledgable about the surroundings and full of ideas on what you can see and do, really best of the best hostesses. Our friends made a day trip to climb the well known Besseggen which is a 90min drive from the cabin. If you look for a place to do mountain hikes, biking, and related, then this is a very nice spot to do it from in beatiful Norway. Best recommendations!

Nice personal welcome. Bed linen and towels must be booked separately. This is clear from the house rules, but we had not seen and none with us when booking. Jo and his family were spontaneously helpful here. Very nice stay and nice hosts.
