Cabin vacation rentals in Innlandet

We stayed here in February 2025 for a week to celebrate my wife’s birthday with family. We was a family of 6 adults and a 3 year old. The house was more than big enough for all of us with plenty of room to have our own space. Donata and Lauras were really helpful in the lead up to our stay and whilst we was there, replying within an hour every time! The house was well equipped with everything we needed to make home cooked food. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the week with norefjell ski resort being a 5-10 minute drive away. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home for the week!

Really nice cabin! We were there 5 people and there was a lot of space. The cabin is incredibly beautiful. Beautiful view of the valley. Not least from the hot tub on the terrace. Good trail for cross country skiing right behind the cabin. Very helpful host and really good value.

Fantastic stay, the cabin feels larger than the photos. The view is stunning and the area very calm. Theresa was extremely helpful and nice to deal with, we loved our stay and will hopefully revisit!

A very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Everything was beautiful. Spacious and the facilities were excellent.

Great experience. The host was very easy to talk to and always available to provide further information. Great location in the middle of the woods, very calm and relaxing. The cabin was beautiful, very clean and has everything you need. The heating system inside works really well, especially with the fireplace, which makes everything extra cozy. Cherry on top was the sauna and hot tub (although the latter took nearly 5h to get to the desired temperature, it was enjoyable and worth it).

We went on a 3-generation vacation. The smallest was 1 1/2 years, the oldest person 67 years. The house offers a retreat for everyone, but also plenty of space to do things together. We felt super comfortable from the first moment, a very modern, lovingly furnished and welcoming house. It was our first stay in Norway and we wanted to go cross-country skiing. Where are the trails? Cross-country skiing trails are about 50 meters from the house, all good. We were able to toboggan with the children right by the house and had a lot of fun. If you want to ski downhill, you will find this option in Skeikampen or Hafjell, but you will need a car for this. We had a very nice holiday in a fantastic winter landscape. Thank you to the hosts.

Simply great. We were a group of friends and had easy access to the alpine center. Both the sauna and hot tub was a luxury! Thank you!

It was a lovely cabin in the woods. It was very warm and comfortable. It has a well stocked kitchen with all the equipment we needed.

We had a lovely weekend at Bredo’s place. This is the second time we came up there. Its a very cozy place, well stocked kitchen and beautiful views. Hope to be back.

Had nice days at this cozy cabin, with a couple of nice ski trips the times it was sunny, one of which was combined with a good lunch at Skirvedalen Fjellstue a short drive away. Right around the cabin the ski tracks were not run (just when I was walking), but it was not far to fresh trails. Lovely view to Gaustatoppen from the cabin window. Very good and clear instructions from Jacob about opening and closing water and heating, etc., and I quickly got answers to other questions. The cabin is absolutely worth a visit!

The second time we rent the cabin. Perfect location for us who were going to an event at Hornsetvangen. Proximity to the ski slope was also plus this time. The cabin is well equipped with what you need. Great cabin 😊

Super cozy cabin, with fireplace, kitchen and bathroom where everything you needed was available. The communication was great, everything was thought of, and we felt super comfortable. Quiet area where you can go for a walk.

If Aagot and Trygve’s cabin is available - book it! This is an amazing spot and something you would want to experience. Absolutely stunning view of the mountains, which will draw you to look out the windows all the time. Inside, the cabin is modern and cosy, it has a great CD and LP collection, and nice fireplace - it is the definition of the Danish word “hygge” (look it up). The ski slopes nearby were great and the local store, Joker, has everything you need. We visited in February and it was quite snowy so we parked at the end of the hill and walked up to the cabin.

A cute house, absolutely clean and best equipped in a fantastic location in absolute tranquility directly on the lake. Ingrid is a great hostess. She is very kind, thinks along and is incredibly committed to fulfilling all requests.

We had four nice days at Jan's cabin at Venabygdfjellet. The cabin is really nice, with lovely views and is well sheltered. The common areas are large, and there is plenty of space for you to retreat a little, even if you are many. Grandpa in the family really appreciated the living room with a CD player and fireplace, while the youngest in the pack stayed where the wifi was strongest. Well-equipped kitchen, large dining area and good beds. 

Recommend a short walk up to Spidsbergseter (they have shuffleboard and pool!), pet horses on Venabu and if the weather and the weather allows it: A trip up to Muen, we got almost all the way at the top before it began snow. But: The best memory is probably that we were visited by a curious fox on the terrace :)

Halvards place is small and basic and a bit draughty but very very cosy. It will never get a Michelin star rating but we have been there twice and love it.

Very nice cabin in beautiful surroundings! 🤩 We had some problems with the water upon arrival, due to many days of proper Norwegian winter cold. The host was quickly on the ball and sorted out without any issues. Nice communication all the way, and very solution-oriented. We are delighted with our stay, and it's possible we'll be back 😊

We had a nice stay in the cabin. Although there are instructions to find it, it is still a little tricky to find the way to the cabin. Thanks for hosting us! :)

Magical place where you can relax and recharge your batteries...the house is in excellent conditions and it has everything to make your stay unforgettable. We had candles and Roses waiting for us.....Marcus is an exceptional host....I am sure we will be back again soon as there is so much to explore...Thank you Miriam & Lee

Great cabin with all amenities. Great location with ski in/out. The cabin is as great as it is in the pictures. Host is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. She always gives a quick response back. We would gladly came back!

We had amazing days in the cabin! We went skiing in Ål, Geilo and the last day in Nesfjell. Also went length on nearby tracks. Very cozy cottage and the view was magical. There were some cabins around but it barely appeared from the house and it felt very private. Really recommended!
