Vacation rentals with beach access in Owls Head

I love Maine's working waterfront and even though my stay was in the off season there was a wonderful glimpse into our fishing economy and the hard work it takes to keep it happening. The quality of light in the unit was amazing, and viewing the moon across the water was stunning. Easy to access all that the midcoast has to offer within an easy ride, to Rockland and Damariscotta and Boothbay and Wiscasset -- my favorite spots. Beautiful places nearby to hike and explore. Onsite staff people Debbie and Blair were wonderful; when I had an issue with the internet -- it was fixed quickly. Unit was well equipped for a person who loves to cook. Also having a bathtub in a waterfront apartment was a plus since many don't have them. Clean, comfortable, safe-feeling -- all one could want in a Maine coastal vacation. Wish I could have stayed longer but instead I'll just plan to go back again.

As described! Located right behind Farnsworth Museum and walking distance to Main St. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Rosemary was very prompt in responding to questions. We had total privacy with easy parking. Nice upper deck for breakfast and a sitting area in the yard below. Main bed was super comfy. There’s a daybed in living room. (However, the daybed mattress may not be comfy for an adult.)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David and Kate’s. It was exactly as advertised, and it felt like a home away from home. The king-sized bed was super comfortable! The provided recommendations for local food were on point. The location was ideal for exploring coastal Maine. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. Pat was very responsive and helpful, the place was comfortable, quiet and perfectly located. It was easy to come and go and the island is idyllic. We loved our first visit to Maine!

Loved staying here! It's a very short walk to Kettle Cove State Park and Crescent Beach. Cape Elizabeth is a charming, quiet little town. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway spot, this is it. You'll feel right at home. Plus the hosts are very responsive and friendly. I'm already thinking about when I can return!

Great spot in Owl's Head. Super quiet and has a nice dedicated parking spot. Blue door makes it easy to spot, but be aware because Google maps seems to want to take you past the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the living space is comfortable. Would love to have an ottoman for the chairs (I'm a little short) but no real complaints. You can hear the ocean sometimes and the neighbors are friendly. Had a great stay.

Place was easy to find and pristine. Lots of amenities and space to stretch out. It was cold outside but the heating was easy to adjust and responsive, making it very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

This is such a gorgeous and peaceful stay. Felt well cared for by our host Jennifer. and given a wonderful amount of privacy. Beautiful house, beautiful views. Right on the beach. Very grateful for the visit.

Our family loved our stay here, plenty of space to spread out and a well appointed kitchen for cooking. We loved paddling around the cove in the two kayaks.

Highly recommend this place. It was perfect for our family of 4 with two little ones. Jason was very informative and a great host. Such a Beautiful area with easy access to the private beach!

I brought my partner to Maine because we hadn't been there. The plan was to propose when the stars were out, and this place was THE PLACE to do it. It was cloudy, so I was going to do it at Cadillac Mountain, but Susan's place was so perfect I did it there instead. Felt like how AirBNB used to be. LIke someone's actual place. Great books, great kitchen etc.

My stay at Gregory’s beautiful home was wonderful. The home is special, from its design, artwork and beautifully curated vintage pieces, which I loved! As I stayed at the house in January, it was great having the road, parking space and walkway plowed and shoveled! And the house was very warm when I arrived which I appreciated. Thank you for letting me stay at the house Gregory.

Catherine's place is Great! We have stayed there several times over many years and it is always great. Very convenient for visitors to the Mid Coast Region.

10/10 would stay here again. The location is gorgeous and private but still convenient to all there is to do in the area. Bathrooms are brand new and have heating fans which was great for chilly mornings.

Johnathan’s house was amazing. The house was very clean and he even took the time to decorate it for Christmas which made it even more magical.

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

This is a great place for couples and for people up for exploring the coast. The location is stellar: You can walk to the shore in 5 min and just jump in. And there's a store with good coffee and pastries just downstairs. Caitlin was a very responsive and courteous host.

Had a wonderful family trip at Samoset Resort. Lovely golf course, clubhouse with restaurant’s and a gorgeous pool. Convenient location to Camden and Rockport where we enjoyed many restaurant’s overlooking the harbor, shopping, Farnsworth Museum as well as a sunset boat tour.

BEAUTIFUL landscape directly on a lake with access to fishing poles, kayaks, and canoes, we felt like we didn’t need to leave the property at all. Perfect location to visit Acadia and near by towns. I wish we could have stayed for twice as long. The condo itself seems to be brand new! The beds were comfortable and the decorations and big screen tv were a nice touch. We spent hours on the dock and in the lake (kayaks). Cannot wait to return to this slice of heaven.

We spent a peaceful, relaxing week with our twenty something daughter in this condo. The condo was well-maintained, very clean and was spacious enough for the three of us to spread out while spending quality time together. We all enjoyed the beautiful views of the harbor, especially at sunrise and sunset, and took advantage of the close proximity to Rockland and all of the wonderful restaurants, shopping and activities in the surrounding area.
