Private suite vacation rentals in Overland Park

This is my first time staying in an Airbnb with the owners living there, but if everyone was like Susan it would be fantastic. The house was very clean and well detailed, very comfortable, and when I return to Kansas, my first choice would be Susan's house.

Ron and Cindy's "Bear Necessities" Airbnb was perfect for our visit to KC. It was such a pleasure to stay there. The unit was very clean, decor was beautiful, and the King size bed was super comfy. The wooded landscape and quietness around the unit made it feel like you were far away from the city. Ron and Cindy are wonderful hosts. Ron met us when we arrived, showed us around the unit, and explained some of the various amenities and how things worked ~ which was very helpful. We got to meet and visit with Cindy the next day. It was nice getting to know the owners since they lived upstairs. They are both very friendly, helpful, and super easy to contact. If we had questions, either Ron or Cindy responded right away. After greeting us, Ron and Cindy gave us all the privacy we wanted. We would definitely recommend Ron and Cindy's place if you plan a trip to KC.

Merrily's home is exactly like the pictures. Very quiet, clean and had everything we needed. She was proactive in all her communication we actually didn't have to ask for a thing. We were only there for a long weekend, but she was so thoughtful in leaving some fruit on the counter and a few things in the frig for the morning, so we didn't have to run to the store right away. We would highly recommend her as a host.

This was a great stay! We got there a little later due to a delayed road trip, but we were still able to get in without a problem. Our boys loved seeing the chickens in the morning. Jana was kind and responsive. A great host!

We loved our stay at the guesthouse and would totally stay there again! They had everything we needed and more. Everything was so clean, cozy, and welcoming. Beautiful backyard and patio space. It is in the basement of their house so you can hear people upstairs but it didn’t bother us at all. Elizabeth was a wonderful host and even let us have a flexible checkout time so our baby could get a nap in!

This was a lovely airbnb; very clean and nicely decorated. We don’t typically choose to stay in an apt within someone’s home but this was completely separate and private. It was quiet and pleasant sitting on the patio in the morning, with coffee. Coming in chilled, following the Chiefs game, the fireplace was nice! The location worked well for us. I highly recommend Michael and Cheryl’s airbnb.

Neathasha was incredibly helpful for the entirety of my trip. Communicated effectively, proactive anytime something came up, and was always polite. It felt closer to downtown than advertised even, in a good way. I’d definitely stay there again!

This place was very clean and comfortable and convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay. The TV was a little tricky to stay connected but we felt that all around town. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Crystals place was great combination of private and secure. Beautiful cozy space, patio and fenced backyard. Comfortable furnishing and thoughtful decorative touches. Small kitchen area, though plenty for me. Family upstairs which I appreciated traveling solo.

This was a very nice place to stay when you’re coming and going. Everything was very clean and the hosts were extremely nice.

The space was great! The only thing we noticed is that there was a faint smell of dirty socks, but we could t figure out where it was coming from. It wasn’t a big deal, but just something small we noticed :)

This place was perfect for our needs. Easy entry, comfy bed, comfy couch, clean, and our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Would recommend to anyone!

This is my second time staying at Havah's place. Havah is very responsive, provides all the amenities you need and keeps the place super-clean and comfortable. I stayed for three weeks this trip and look forward to staying again in the future.

I'll come back and stay at this peaceful, happy place again. Stephen is a communicative, helpful, and friendly host. This is a cool, comfortable, unique place in a special neighborhood with great restaurants and shops nearby. It's in a great location to get to other attractions in KC.

This was my first time renting an Airbnb, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be amazing! The house itself was beautiful, with a modern and cozy interior, and the views of the city were absolutely breathtaking. The location was perfect — close enough to everything, yet the home feels private and serene. The owners live nearby, but you’d never know it; there’s complete privacy and no interruptions. Communication was smooth and easy, and they were very thoughtful in ensuring everything was just right for my stay. I will definitely be renting again when I return to the area. Highly recommend!
