2 Bedroom Rural Cottage

SophieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Absolutely stunning!! Honestly the photos do not do it justice. It was absolute heaven and two nights was not enough. Our reactive dog also thought she was in heaven too!! She felt so relaxed as did we. The gardens alone are breath taking but the walks near by are nice (albeit busy with lots of people but that isn’t a negative.) bonus was also the fact you could block the decking off so your dog can enjoy the space. The hot tub was amazing too. The cottage was so toasty when we got there too. I expected it to be freezing but it was cosy.

Jack's Cottage, Curbar

SamRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Lovely little cottage, nice log burner and beautiful hot tub. The place felt very private and check in was easy. The only thing to note would be downstairs floors are stone and therefore very cold in winter so slippers are a must! Other thank that, lovely stay

Luxury Peak District Cottage with Hot Tub

AmeliaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We stayed at The Stables for 2 nights, the cottage was spotless and felt very cozy and warm as soon as we walked in. Everything you need is provided (pans, cutlery, glasses) and the touch of hot chocolate, coffee and homemade cakes was lovely! The grounds were private with lots of local walks and we also enjoyed saying hello to the dogs. The restaurants nearby and cafe at the Longshaw estate were amazing and we would definitely recommend. We loved the hot tub which was a nice end to the day. Overall the cottage provides a very cozy, relaxing weekend and we will definitely be booking again!

The Old Coach House, Wheatsheaf Mews

LukeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Tibshelf. Jenny was accommodating as we were a group of 6 adults and a dog. We had everything we needed in the house and the outside space was great with the dog and the hot tub was gorgeous, very clean and well maintained. The house was comfortable, with lots of space for us all to relax in the evenings by the fire, the wood and firelighters for the first night were provided, which was much appreciated. Co-op is a short walk away if we missed anything else. Jenny was helpful with local recommendations and allowed us to check in early after a long journey. We throughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Thank you Jenny!

Peak District village cottage with stunning views

AvrilRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent a delightful 3 nights at Rosie’s cottage, enjoying the cosy comfort and amazing views while catching up with friends. All was as described, with comfortable beds, well equipped & with good amenities & thoughtful extras for both dogs & humans! The locals were friendly & helpful with parking & advice & we had an enjoyable meal in the dog friendly Bulls Head hotel. There are good local walks by the river & Bakewell & Chatsworth are within easy reach. Would happily return for a future stay.

Chatsworth Cottage, Little Longstone

RoseyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Hartington village cottage with 2 parking spaces!

JaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful cottage in a lovely Peak District village - the area is stunning. The cottage itself is perfect - exceptionally clean, comfortable furniture, well-equipped kitchen, and the added bonus of parking. A real home from home. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any messages. A welcome gift of wine and other goodies was a lovely touch. I have no problem thoroughly recommending Hawthorne Cottage for the hosts, the cottage, the village and the surroundings. We look forward to returning there before too long.

Cosy Little Cottage in the Peak District

ClareRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a great stay at the cottage, it was a great location to get into Buxton and surrounding areas. Allie and her family were available when needed and were friendly and showed us the cows up close but gave us plenty of space. It didn't feel like you were on top of each other at the farm. The cottage was really nice itself and clean with the surrounding areas really beautiful. Would recommend the cafe at the bottom of the lane (2 min DRIVE) and the red lion pub in Litton( 5/10 min drive) the food in both places were really nice. Would definitely recommend this stay and I will be back if I'm ever visiting the area again!

Maeve was a wonderful host, very welcoming and friendly. She was there to greet for an easy arrival, and relaxed check out. The location was the perfect blend of walkable to castleton and yet peaceful and rural enough. The cottage had everything we need, feeling at home and cosy- we especially loved the fire. We had a lovely stay and felt very comfortable.

Traditional Cottage on a Working Hill Farm

ShellyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Four adults ,three kids & couple of dogs spent an incredible weekend here. Country walks, board games in the lounge in front of the roaring fire.Cooking valentines steaks on the aga sitting around the large dinning room table clinking glasses celebrating a birthday . Pictueress views with sheep roaming freely. Relaxing in a bubble bath after a long doggy walk. The hardest thing was choosing from the bedrooms as they all had en-suits and the decor was fabulous. House stayed clean as it had a boot room which was perfect. We was also blessed with a small amount of snow which captured the magical time we spent at the cottage. The kids loved the chest in the lounge they said it was the best hiding space ever. Met the neighbours who were really friendly gave us the best places to walk. The kids were disappointed they couldn’t do s’more around the fire pit because it rained. I would definitely go back and I’ve already recommend the cottage to our friends & family . This is an incredible find.

The Old Toffee Shop

KateRating, 5 stars2 months ago
An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Rocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat

AndrewRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This was our second visit to Rocking Stone Cottage and we're determined to find an excuse for a third as soon as possible! The cottage is in the most idyllic setting, with beautiful walks on the doorstep. The cottage itself is elegantly furnished and decorated to a very high standard and the kitchen is well equipped. There are many additional thoughtful touches which mark Rachael out as a 5 star host, the most delicious of which are her chocolate brownies:-) We particularly enjoyed the dark skies, log burner (with a generous supply of logs) and complete peace and quiet. It is the perfect place to take a break from everyday life and the views from both bedrooms are absolutely stunning.

Black Cat Cottage in lovely Wildboarclough

AnnemiekeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Paid a second visit to work and walk. Cottage was warm, clean and welcoming again, felt like coming home. Have to admit the balance between working and walking shifted a bit during the week. Can't blame the WiFi, which worked perfectly. And the table in the airy and cosy kitchen offered a wonderful place to work. It's simply impossible to resist the beautiful landscape and the many hiking opportunities. Even in winter, this place and it's surroudings are absolutely beautifull. After a long walk, the hot shower and very comfortable bed were a delight. Highly recommend this lovely cottage! The Rose and Crown at walking distance is also worth a visit with it's excellent food and lovely barlady.

West Croft, the Relaxing, Quiet, Homely Cottage.

LouiseRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our party of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped and the lounge very cosy, with enough comfy seating for us all. Youlgreave is a beautiful village with many options for walks directly from the house. Communication with Simon and Jen was excellent and we would definitely recommend their cottage as a great base from which to explore this beautiful area.

Delightful old stone cottage

MelanieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Headlands Fold is a lovely cosy old cottage in a beautiful village. Rod the owner was helpful and welcoming. The cottage has everything you would need, it is very comfortable with some low doorways to watch out for, if you are tall. The beds were comfy. There was a welcome bottle of wine, milk and biscuits. It is a quiet spot with walks straight from the door. There are two great pubs with open fires serving food in the village and a community owned shop. There were three of us and it was a good size for us. Any more and it would be tricky to deal with wet coats and boots. My husband and I would definitely stay again.

1 Bridge Cottages Accommodation

ChanelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It is very homely with cosy furnishing and a comfortable bed. Some slight noise from the trains, but it wasn't enough to be a disturbance. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the property. On top of that, the hosts leave a welcoming gift of biscuits. Adam, thank you for your hospitality.
