Very high quality stay in a central location. The apartment was incredibly beautifully decorated and the vibe was extra cozy. Guests were also wonderfully catered to the small details (woolen socks, earplugs, etc.) The bed was extremely good for sleeping. In an old house, sound insulation isn't today, but we knew how to prepare for earlier reviews after reading in advance, nothing bothering us or our dogs - but it's a good idea if you happen to be more sensitive to the soundscape yourself and not being able to use earplugs, for example. Thank you very much!

Thanks to Kaarina for being integrated into her life for a week. I had two rooms on the second floor, the kitchen was used intensively by me, the necessary utensils are all available. Kaarina's dog had also taken me to heart at the latest from the second day. The bed is very comfortable and there is enough space to unpack the bags and store clothes. I worked there for a week, the internet is working perfectly. The house is large, you have a sauna in the house and one in the garden. I used both, especially the garden sauna I would recommend. Cool off after the sauna on a starry night with snow, that's special. If you want to know more about sauna, you have a competent contact in Kaarina. As she clarifies in the description, she shares the house here. This is also the original idea of Airbnb for me.

Cozy place. Friendly and warm welcome, almost like coming to the village. Katri was absolutely wonderful with our kids. Always a wonderful place to stay on the way north or home.

We enjoyed our brief stopover at the cabin! The location is beautiful and entry was easy after we found the place inside Rokua National Park. The indoor sauna was refreshing after a long day of travel, and the cozy minimalist decor made us feel so relaxed and at home. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the outdoor space, but the covered and snow-free balcony was lovely as well. Highly recommend!

Thanks to the host family for the time in their beautiful house. It is really very big and offers plenty of space. We used the sauna inside and out every day. The communication with the host family was perfect at all times. We all felt very comfortable here and thank you also for the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

What a stunning home! This was the perfect stopping place to overnight on our drive to the North. Clean, well equipped, gorgeous decor with a Finnish feel. We had the wood-fire hot tub warmed and it was fabulous!

We had a great time at Villa Jäkälä. The house has a very nice design and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The host was very helpful and friendly.
