Secluded and Private Catskills Cabin with a View

Modern cabin on the mountains of the western Catskills. There is a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, an assortment of books, board games, puzzles, and an indoor wood-burning stove. There is reliable, high-speed fiber-optic wifi. There is no TV. Note: In winter (Dec-March at least) you will NEED a vehicle with AWD or 4WD to reach the cabin. The final .75 mile of the drive is a dirt road with a couple of hills that could be difficult for an FWD vehicle to safely get up or down.

You’ll love my place because of The peace and quiet and about 13 miles to Cooperstown. Lots of walking trails Pond with wood fired sauna. King size bed. Private deck with gas grill. . My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids). There is limited WiFi , satellite so no streaming. Att works best here. Tv plus a DVD player. Lots of movies.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our child at Colgate University. Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts live next door and were very accommodating. The home was beautifully decorated and well appointed with cool fixtures and the most comfortable couch. They provided ground coffee, which was delicious, and the beds had great mattresses. The water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we like but everything else was perfect. The location was peaceful with beautiful views over the lake. The house is remote, but was easy to find. Can't wait to come back.

We were looking for a last minute getaway for the kids on spring break and we searched a few places but had no luck since this was our first time reserving on B&B but Tom was quick to respond and was very accommodating. The house is beautiful and the grounds are picturesque. In the morning we loved to go out and see the horses and at night the jacuzzi was soooo nice plus the fire pit…amazing!! They even allowed us to extend the checkout a bit which was nice. Also, Craig who watches over the home was on call and super responsive anytime we needed him. The only minor minus was there was no remote for the tv downstairs but we managed to figure it out. Aside from that I would highly recommend!

Beautiful location with lakeside view. Such a peaceful and cozy home. We had everything we could have needed - canoe, kayaks, bikes etc. 20 minutes from Cooperstown Dreams Park. Absolutely gorgeous. One of my most memorable vacation spots. Highly recommend.

The best weekend getaway space for when you need to be one with the nature. Super secluded. The property is well maintained, the perfect balance of seclusion while having all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Gerry and Don were very responsive and helpful at every stage. The space was cleaned and heated before we arrived. Both Don and Gerry were friendly and proactive. Definitely recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 2 nights- a short getaway for our anniversary and my birthday. It was the perfect place! Everything we wanted to do was 5-6 miles away. The cottage was very cute, quiet, comfortable, peaceful. Patrick sent a message with a detailed description of check in/check out instructions that were perfect! I would have to say my favorite part of our stay was sitting out back on the deck watching the neighbor’s horses, and they came right up to the fence a couple of times and let us pet them❤️ I would love to come back someday!

This was the perfect place for a getaway with a large group. Nadia is extremely responsive, and ensured our stay was flawless. The property is beautiful and is located in an area that is very easy to get to. If in the area again, we would look to stay here first!!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is in a quiet, lovely area with great privacy. It had everything we needed, and the kitchen was fully stocked. We drove about 30 minutes to the ski resort, and the kids couldn’t wait to get back at the house and enjoy the game room — the foosball and ping pong table were a hit! Communication with Kim was very smooth. We’d love to come back!

This was by far the coolest air bnb we have stayed at!! Lisa and Ed were such friendly and welcoming people and they have such an awesome idea going on. We were very very impressed. The experience you get at this air bnb being surrounded by the horses and seeing such beautiful wildlife is just incredible. The stargazing is perfect here. Lisa was very accommodating and responsive the whole stay, and they both were fantastic to just chat with. The Cabin had a fan and a mini A/C unit but with just the windows being open it was comfortable to sleep. We used the grill to make Mac and cheese, and we had a fire with the wood they provided us, of course we made S’mores! My boyfriend and I work very hard with his company doing small excavation and landscaping, this was the perfect relaxing getaway we needed. Not to mention that a foal was born during our stay, the baby was named Aurora, as the auroras were seen when we stayed here. We will definitely be visiting back!

Matt was a great host and we enjoyed everything during the stay. They were so kind, reachable and flexible when a snow storm hit, allowed us for early check in and late check out so we can arrive and depart safely. I’d definitely recommend their place.
