This house is amazing. Aesthetically beautiful, spacious, and modern. Bigger than I anticipated and peaceful location on a mountain side. Great opportunities for bird watching on the huge balcony with gorgeous views during the day and also very relaxing to star gaze and enjoy the hot tub in the backyard. And if that wasn’t enough, it’s a very eco friendly build and Bella the cat is amazing company and the friendliest cat ever. Probably my favorite place I’ve stayed for Air BNB so far!

Lisa’s home was absolutely beautiful! The view of the lake from the living room/kitchen/patio is breathtaking. Our two families felt right at home in this lovely house. The kids loved the bunk bed set up and ping pong table downstairs. The huge kitchen had everything you could possibly need! The decor was peaceful yet artistic. So many thoughtful details to accommodate guests. Wanaka is a lovely community with delightful restaurants and shops. Don’t forget to check out Cinema Paradiso and catch a movie on a sofa with homemade cookies at intermission! Shop for sheepskins at Wilson & Dorset! I hope one day we can return to this incredible corner of the world.

Great location, super friendly and accommodating hosts. It was perfect for our stay in Queenstown and we were very sad to leave!!! Highly recommend!

We booked two nights here in the hope of seeing the night sky, unfortunately for us both nights were cloudy. So we were not able to make the most of the sky lights in the bedroom.

The place is simply amazing and the view from the place is breathtaking. It is what we were looking for. A peaceful getaway for our family away but it is still not that far away, by car, for groceries. The property is very well kept, clean, and we can tell that it is maintained. The host team is just splendid and we were well informed from start to finish. Overall, this is the perfect airbnb experience we had hoped for.

We had an amazing stay at Vaughan’s place. So beautiful and spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed and great location for us. I would recommend and definitely come back. We were grateful to be able to check in early and Vaughan was so quick to respond.

Unique and beautiful space. We loved the dog Indie and of course Bubba the sheep. Very comfortable space. Well appointed w spices. Ice etc. Nigel was helpful when we had a question. Would highly recommend the house.

Sarah’s home was the perfect experience, beautifully set up for our family to enjoy christmas together - from the kitchen facilities, to the layout, the surroundings, interior design and special touches.

Great place to stay with a group of friends for the week! Heaps of space. Very warm. Loved the spa. Easy access to the lakeside track. Loved being out of the traffic of central Queenstown!

We had such a wonderful stay; everything was very user friendly, comfortable & convenient. Plenty of room for all of us & seperate areas gave us all some personal space as well. Would definitely book again & highly recommend.

Amazing views of the mountains and lake! This is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at this year. Everything about it was amazing: furniture, beds, layout, hot tub, etc. Plenty of space for a family. The host was very friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend this home.

We had a wonderful stay. House was clean and the kitchen extremely well equipped.

We have a family of 8 and stayed at David's place for 6 nights. The area is private and the scenery is beautiful and outstanding. Extremely clean and neat. It has all the amenities that you need especially hair dryer in every bathroom. I totally love the toiletries provided and went to buy more on my own. David and Courtney are very responsive when I have a question. We definitely enjoyed our stay at David's place and highly recommended.

I can’t believe how good this place is. We were so excited about the pictures and the reality is somehow even better! This place is the standard for all Airbnbs. I have stayed in 15-20 all over the globe and this is the best I’ve ever been in. It’s luxurious but feels like home. The kitchen is the most well-stocked I have ever seen. The beds, bedding, and furniture is all very nice. Kaye was super responsive and very kind. The views are truly stunning and honestly are an attraction on their own. We chose to eat in the house with the views rather than going to dinner on multiple occasions. And then there’s the town itself, which is incredible! We did rent a car and we’re glad that we did because of the hill. We can’t wait to visit Queenstown again!

This stay was an absolute dream! The location is incredibly tranquil and peaceful, with charming little feathered friends to feed, adding to the serene atmosphere. The room itself is flawless, boasting a stylish interior that accurately matches the photos. The attention to detail throughout the entire stay was exceptional. I don’t want to spoil any delightful surprises, but I can confidently say you won’t be disappointed!

We were a group of five (3 adults, two young children) and really enjoyed our stay at this fairytale house. It was very clean and furnished with lots of charming accessories which make the place even more WOW. I personally loved the outdoor illumination at night, which added to the fairytale feeling. We also made use of the hot tub. The only thing to improve is the wifi speed and coverage throughout the house. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a very special stay.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

This is a 5 star cabin! I loved the view, the terrace... and the water pressure. It's perfectly clean, super easy check-in and check-out. Nick is very friendly. The cabin has everything I needed. And quite close to a great grocery store. I very much recommend this place.

The accommodation was really great! Super modern and high standard equipment. The outdoor bathtub and the absolutely quiet location with a wonderful view of the mountains were of course also a highlight! The little touches at check-in rounded off the very positive impression. We had a great time with Robyn & Dan and we can absolutely recommend it!

Words cannot describe our time at Skylark. What an incredible, peaceful and relaxing stay we had! The space was sparkling clean and had everything we could have needed plus more. The attention to detail is next level. The outdoor tub, the stars at night through the skylight above the bed, the view from the deck in the morning light with coffee in hand, everything was perfect. Make sure to check out the small living spaces book on the shelf - the cover may be familiar :) we would have loved to stay here even longer to soak in more of the serenity. If we ever find ourselves in NZ again, we will absolutely be staying at skylark. Thank you again to the hosts for making us feel at home and for the opportunity to stay at such an incredible slice of paradise.

We had the BEST night in Renee and Dugald’s amazing carriage! Attention to detail was incredible, down to all the train art displayed around the cabin. This felt like absolute luxury and surprisingly did not feel cramped at all. We wish we had arrived earlier so we could enjoy more time there. Loved the outdoor bath as well - scenery was stunning and the area was well lit with great light features and fairy lights. Thank you so much for a magical stay - we can’t wait to tell our friends about this find and hope to be able to come and visit again soon!
