Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Otago

This was a perfect place to stay during our week in the Queenstown area. It felt like a little wilderness retreat while only 15 minutes from downtown. Spacious and comfortable and clean. Great hikes and lake access nearby. Wonderful patio and hot tub, and beautiful views from every room. We enjoyed having Bella the cat spend lots of time with us. There's not phone service in this area so look at check-in instructions ahead of time.

Wow this place was so gorgeous. So well designed and beautiful. I loved the sliding doors to the backyard. Great locations, comfy beds, our daughter loved the toys and trampoline and there was a playground just outside the backyard

The house and view are absolutely stunning! A great location, quiet and still close to town. Lots of room for all the guests and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. You can’t beat the view from the upstairs living area, absolutely breathtaking !

Me and my wife stayed here during our honeymoon traveling across the South Island. Simon was the perfect host, messaging us well ahead of time with recommendations and instructions of the Lake Tekapo region. Even though we arrived very late he was responsive and still greeted us with a smile. The house was extremely clean and private with a fence surrounding the outdoor area and a parking spot right in front. All the amenities were clean and working well, and the bed and seating where both very comfortable. I would highly recommend this site and any other operated by Simon to anyone looking to stay in the Lake Tekapo region. Thanks again Simon!

A very thoughtfully put together house. It felt spacious, bright, sunny and relaxing. The surrounding Miu rain and lake views are spectacular with a changing landscape from the first light of day to the last. A wonderful place to stay. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay at Vaughan’s place. So beautiful and spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed and great location for us. I would recommend and definitely come back. We were grateful to be able to check in early and Vaughan was so quick to respond.

Our family had a fabulous time at Sarah's place! The house is beautiful and the outlook is stunning. We enjoyed the huge - warm space the house offers, watching the stars from the spa, snuggling up by the outdoor fireplace and eating breakfast as the sun rises over the mountains. The location is fantastic, close proximity to the airport, a short drive to the shops in town and Coronet Peak is just 15 minutes away. Oak - the cat was a delightful addition to our stay and the family is now in negotiations for a feline friend. Sarah is an awesome host, friendly and very responsive. Thank you Sarah and family for sharing your amazing home - we would love to come back!

Great place to stay with a group of friends for the week! Heaps of space. Very warm. Loved the spa. Easy access to the lakeside track. Loved being out of the traffic of central Queenstown!

We had such a wonderful stay; everything was very user friendly, comfortable & convenient. Plenty of room for all of us & seperate areas gave us all some personal space as well. Would definitely book again & highly recommend.

We have a family of 8 and stayed at David's place for 6 nights. The area is private and the scenery is beautiful and outstanding. Extremely clean and neat. It has all the amenities that you need especially hair dryer in every bathroom. I totally love the toiletries provided and went to buy more on my own. David and Courtney are very responsive when I have a question. We definitely enjoyed our stay at David's place and highly recommended.

Our family of 4 spent several nights in Kaye’s Villa and we all loved the Villa. There was an amazing view of the lake and mountains. We decided to cook in most evenings just so we could enjoy the view more and use the kitchen which was stocked with everything we needed to cook nice meals. The living room area was very comfortable where you can sit back and enjoy a roaring fire. The two chairs in the alcove area looking out over the lake were everyone’s favorite. The deck is also very nice for relaxing in a couple of wicker chairs outside when the weather cooperates. All the bathrooms were very clean and the bedrooms had high quality linens. The washer and dryer in the Villa is high quality and sure helps out when you are traveling for weeks. Our family loved staying at Kaye’s Villa and will always remember this place. Kaye was also very helpful on restaurant recommendations and very proactive in communicating. We highly recommend Kaye’s Villa.

Such a great home to stay in. We were two families and it worked perfectly! Plenty of everything that you need. Kids loved the games room and plenty of towels were provided which is needed with kids in and out the spa! Fireplaces were amazing with plenty of wood! There is nothing that they could have done differently! This will be our go to Queenstown home!!! Excellent amount of space for everyone to relax and have fun in!

This was a fantastic house for 8 of us, with 4 self contained bed/bathroom. Lots of privacy with amazing views. The photos didn’t do the biew justice- it was breathtaking! Fully equipped kitchen for dining in. Great to have dual parking zones and entry. Would recommend and use again.

It was a nice getaway / pit stop when driving back from Wanaka back to Christchurch if you are thinking of stopping at Oamaru for penguin viewing (~20 mins drive). We had fun feeding the ducks and swans. The scenery matched the description!

The home was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Catherine was an outstanding host. We loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone who loves something with some awesome differences. A must see and stay. Alex is a fantastic town. The local blossom festival was on in the town which had a lot to offer our whole group. Thanks a bunch.

Words can’t describe the beauty of this home. The home looks way better in person and my partner and I agreed it was one of our top experiences while in New Zealand. Such a cosy and private space, great for unwinding after hiking in Mount Cook.

We had an amazing stay at this Luxury escape! Everything has been so well thought through and would absolutely stay here again. Garry was an outstanding host with detailed information about our stay and had excellent recommendations for the area! We saw Mount Cook, stars lighting up the night sky, and an aurora all in one day!

I met the accommodation of my life in New Zealand! It's such a beautiful space and I had a good time with my husband. The stars I saw in the outdoor bath were so cool, and the bedding was so neat and there was nothing missing. The host communicated actively, so I had a very comfortable stay. I definitely want to go back someday.

This place is absolutely wonderful. A perfect couples' retreat. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of thoughtful extras to make your stay enjoyable. We hired the e-bikes to explore the town at a very reasonable price of $30 per bike for the entire day. Nate was very welcoming and available to answer any questions we had. Billie the dog and Boots the humongous cat were frequent visitors and added something special to our stay. I doubt you could get any better than this place to stay. Top marks from us.
