Vacation rentals with lake access in Ostholstein

Gerd's home was spacious, and warm. It is tucked off the street in a small town in Northern Germany. We were fortunate to see snowfall and it couldn't have been prettier if we dreamed it. As an American family we were welcomed by Gerd's adult son who spoke perfect English to us.

We were 28 students on a bluebook trip, and had a great trip. There was both room for all of us in the dining room and TV room. The kitchen was amazing and brilliant for so many people, and at least nothing was missing. Tue's house is definitely recommended for larger groups, ideal with many rooms and common areas. Very surprised and even better than the photos described. Thank you for your stay: -)

We stayed at Katharina's beautiful place over New Year's Eve with 4 families and a total of 6 children and had a great time! There is a lot of space and retreat options. The playroom is perfect and the kids loved it. The house is super equipped and was super cozy! Next time would use the upper bedroom but only as a game room. We will definitely be back, next time in summer so we also have something from the pool and tennis court:) Thanks also to Ms. Ms. Marthiensen for the nice welcome!

Wonderful place to stay and highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay at Villa Moana in Plön! Already upon arrival, we were surprised with a loving guest gift, which immediately made us feel welcome. The house is extremely stylish and cozily furnished, so we felt comfortable from the first moment. Particularly noteworthy are the cozy living area, the well-equipped kitchen and the TV, which made our stay very comfortable. Plön itself is a charming town, and a visit to the Schlossberg is definitely worth it. Also, the location is perfect for taking trips to the Baltic Sea by train or car. We highly recommend Villa Moana and would be happy to come back!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house! It was perfectly clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for two relaxing nights. The location was quiet but still easily accessible, and the host was very friendly and helpful. We would come back anytime – highly recommended!

We spent our family vacation here and had a wonderful time. Communication in advance was quick and hassle-free, and we got great tips for day trips locally. Thank you again for that and for the nice conversations! The house is very quiet and has everything you need. Everything was sparkling clean and tidy, the kitchen is super equipped for cooking. On the terrace you can eat wonderfully alfresco and at night you sit under a beautiful starry sky. The lake is within walking distance, here you can go swimming wonderfully. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Nice, clean, and comfortable.

My mom, our dogs and I had a lovely stay at Valerie's place. The surroundings are a dream to walk and enjoy nature. Unfortunately, I got sick and spent a lot of time in the accommodation, which I didn't mind at all, as you can look into nature all day and watch everything in a super relaxed way. Games, books and magazines were available. In the kitchen was everything you need for a nice cooking evening. We particularly liked the decor and pictures. Each room is very cozy and invites you to feel good. It was very nice, thank you so much!

A very nice apartment in a very nice location.

Our stay at the place was very nice. The apartment is perfect for traveling as a couple, only the kitchen is a little small. We especially liked the large window front next to the sofa, so we could enjoy the last rays of autumn sunshine

A very nice reception from Birgit in her beautifully furnished apartment, which is located in a quiet side street with magnificent views of the large pretty garden. We were even allowed to take the canoe on the Schwentine. Beautiful! Birgit and Markus are very friendly, affectionate people who are happy to help you. We can only recommend the apartment and would love to come back.

We found a spacious apartment for 2 people with a great balcony. The apartment was clean and it is conveniently furnished. Kitchen, hand and bath towels were there in a generous number. The key handover was easy, we were received very nicely. We will be happy to come back!

I felt comfortable from the first moment. Very nice hostess, the apartment was super equipped. The garden is fantastic. Unfortunately, my stay was short, would have liked to stay longer.

Perfect location, very clean and modern. Walkable to the lakes, shops and centre. TV with Netflix and a small kitchen. It is a sofa bed but a comfy one!

We felt super comfortable! Super nice landlord, great apartment and beautiful quiet surroundings. Have been there with a baby, even that was not an issue. We would definitely come back again!

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our planned trip with our 80-year-old parents at short notice. Eckhard responded very well and allowed us to "pass" our trip to our neighbors. Even in advance, the communication was always friendly and expedient. We plan to make up for our trip. Here the impressions of our neighbors: The wooden cottage in Bosau is cozy and the view of the lake is something special. Eckhard welcomed us nicely. We felt comfortable there. Only the hot water in the hand basin was spun a little at first. Otherwise everything is fine.

Saskia and Hendrik's house is very stylish and tastefully decorated. The hosts are very warm, likeable and helpful. A swimming spot on the lake is less than a minute's walk away and the sea is just under 10 minutes by bike. We felt very comfortable and would book the house again at any time. Thank you for the great time in your beautiful home.

The cottage is super cozy. We felt like at home. The sharp knives were very special for a vacation home. That's rare 😊

Laisa & Roman's cottage was simply fantastic. If you want to unwind in nature and spend a relaxing time, this is definitely the place to be. Can only recommend it.

This is an true gem. The house is old and quirky but absolutely lovely and cozy. The garden and water is stunning and the location couldn’t be more beautiful. Ragna is very proactive and responsive and I would absolutely stay here again.

This place is a true gem. The location at the lake is stunning as it gets the evening sun and the lake is perfect for SUP and swimming. We loved every second of our stay there!
