First of all i want to say how beautiful the cottage is, it is a lovely cottage to stay in like home from home, did not need anything, all there for you, really comfortable bed, the garden was inclosed and peaceful, the cottage was lovely and clean, and very cosy in the evenings, James & Isabel left us some local biscuits and milk, which was needed after nearly 5 and 1/2 traveling! lovely hot drink we were blessed with beautiful weather, visited Lyme Regis which was not too far away to travel, West Bay, Weymouth, Beer and Seaton did quite a bit Thank you for letting us share this beautiful cottage, would definitely stay there again Anna & James from Bedford

Debra and her daughter are lovely and friendly. The cottage is idyllic and so peaceful. The walk to and from the car is lovely in the morning looking over the fields in the distance. The linen and towels were all lovely and fresh and the hot tub was kept immaculate throughout our stay . It was chilly in the evenings and the fire was cosy. We will definitely return . We had a wonderful stay at the cottage over Christmas. Glenda gave great directions and check in instructions, with dinning recommendations. She was very helpful throught the stay. The cottage was perfect, it was exactly as the photos, stylish, welcoming and luxurious. We didn't want to leave. Glenda had also gone the extra mile with lots of fabulous touches. We felt so welcome and the were overwhelmed with the gorgeous Christmas decorations, a lovely surprise. It was also well appointed, so many thoughtful details. We loved the butter dishes, lamps and artwork. Everything was very considered, clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Great location and brilliant pizzas at the pub, just a walk away. There was a little park for the boys and the local shop in the neighbouring village was well stocked. We loved it and would love to stay again. Fantastic break, thank you so much. The perfect cottage escape.

Just back from west Bullen The cottage is just as the pictures show.. down stairs the bedroom and en-suite are a good size very modern but still have some of the old character. The living room/kitchen is a little small but was fine for the two of us and our dog. There is access to both levels from the garden which we found useful as our dog couldn’t manage the spiral staircase. The view from the large balcony/BBQ area is breathtaking , we were fortunate enough to see some fantastic sunsets. The garden is also a nice large area that our dog was very happy exploring, but as others have said it’s not fully secure and dogs could wander off down the lane, fortunately Ozzy never goes far from home. Louise made a point of coming out to meet us ,she was very friendly and helpful. we are getting on in years and as others have mentioned found the gravel slope up to the house a bit of a challenge but as Louise said “you can’t get the view without going up” Thanks for a great stay Louise.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It was clean, cosy and the welcome goodies were a lovely touch and much appreciated. The hot tub was a perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and under cover (we got lucky with beautiful weather but this would’ve been great even if it rained!). Our dog enjoyed the secure garden and we appreciated knowing he could roam the garden safely. The cottage is in a great location, just a short drive from the sea, and Ruth provided great recommendations for local places to eat and visit. We went to the Sculpture Park by the lake which was beautiful! We’d love to stay again.

Clerk Cottage is a true delight, by far one of the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Every detail has been thought of in order to ensure a comfortable stay, very high quality, we loved it. Have to also mention the fabulous shower! Close to some great walks through the church grounds. I hope being right next to a graveyard doesn’t put you off as this cottage is a true gem. So much we extended our stay and can highly recommend, thank you Claire.

Wow! We had such a lovely stay. We just wanted to kick back for a few days and rest and this was perfect. Perfect cottage and perfect area. The cottage is immaculately kept and so well equipped with lovely little welcoming touches. Croissants were lovely, as were the Ferrero Rocher! Hosts were excellent. We had a short Wifi outage which made no difference to us but Ashley was quick to update us that they had a supplier issue and would be fixed asap. All in all, we had a lovely time, it felt like home from home. We relaxed, enjoyed the log burner and watched the birds! PERFECT! Thank You!

We loved staying here. Just as described , a beautiful comfortable cottage. Had everything we needed. Lovely kitchen to cook in. Also a great pub round the corner if you don't fancy cooking. We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home in the lounge in the evening with the fire going. It was warm and the beds were great. Lots to do in the area. It's it's raining. Taunton isn't far for bowling , cinema etc. Lovely board games cafe in Ilminster too. Lots of great walks near by and seafront towns of Lyme etc are great. Parking was just round the corner but that wasn't a problem and the little paved garden felt private and secluded for a coffee etc. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back again.

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding and wished we were staying for 2 nights! The cottage was perfect for the 5 of us and exceeded our expectations. Parking was easy in the Firehouse car park behind the cottage and it would have been lovely to have a meal there if we’d had more time. We would love to stay again!
