Vacation rentals in Ordway

This is a cabin in a KOA campground. It’s easy to find and convenient for a stay on your way to Taos. The unit was clean and comfortable. I had a little trouble getting in the house. The door key pad is a bit temperamental, but someone came and fixed the issue with in minutes. Brad is very responsive. There is always someone to help.

I wish I can give this place more than 5 stars!!! Kendi is such an AMAZING host. She quickly answered any questions I had which weren’t many because she leaves all information in a welcome packet. Her place is a cozy home away from home. I’m a travel nurse and I stay in many hotels and air BnB and this by far is the best. Will definitely stay again if I’m ever in town.

We planned to stay 2 weeks. The unit was well stocked with all of the essentials and provided plenty of space for a family of 6. We have a family urgency and the host understood our change in the dates. Highly recommend this place and we will go back soon.

Thanks for enjoyable weekend at your place, Brad. La Junta KOA meet all our needs for a quick trip to La Junta for college wrestling. Friendly Host- clear instructions for our stay. Our little Cabin B was comfortable -clean - fully stocked with linen/towels/kitchen items. Pet area was also clean/stocked with bags for clean up. We want to return in the summer months to explore the area more. Community is rich in ranching and railroad history. KOA has some cool rail cars on the property. Caboose to rent! Chris is a responsive host . I lock myself out Chris immediately saw my isssue and assisted me.

The KOA felt safe and peaceful. There was road noise but it wasn’t terrible, especially when we closed the windows. We liked the cabin and slept well. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant. We would suggest a small light on or by the outdoor table. We had to use our cell phone flashlights to see well enough to eat dinner after dark. Not a deal-breaker tho. This was the most we’ve paid for an Airbnb. We would stay there again. It was our first time seeing the tarantula trek., which we loved. Host made good dining recommendations.
