Loved our time here! The location was perfect and it was very peaceful. Could not recommend this more!

This place was great! Super clean and close to some great places to eat.

Beautiful cottage, peaceful and felt at home. The snacks along with the little dog treats for my dog Goose was the icing on the cake! Great place to stay!!

PROS Peaceful open floor plan house perfect for a week by the lake. Host is responsive and home very clean. Perfect for limited mobility, 1 step into home and going around house with small slope can access water with walker or cane, possibly wheelchair, without using steps on back porch. Kitchen is well stocked and bathroom shower is roomy and easy to get into, 1 small step. Floating dock is perfect for boat tour to pick you up right at airbnb. In the middle of the South Shore of Lake Murray with locals as neighbors, entire area feels local vs touristy. 30min from Columbia, 1hr from Aiken SC/Congaree National Park. CONS Home is a little close to 378 and you can hear some road noise, not overwhelming and you still have a peaceful environment. That's it! You won't regret staying here, we loved it!

It was everything we needed for our stay. Thanks for the coffee and grill. We had a great trip and this place was a big part of that.

Definity use caution with the driveway it is very steep! Be aware the tree roots are as big as speed bumps. Location offered easy access to/from the highway and restaurants/ space offered a very comfortable king size bed in a private quiet area/with a nice view of the lake. Overall worked well for a quick overnight stay! Yes, we would stay again.

Julia’s place was great! Our family was visiting my little brother for the holiday weekend, so we decided to get a rental so that we could cook for him before he went back to base. Julia had everything (and more!) that we needed, and was willing to accommodate our needs whenever at all possible. Her place truly became our home away from home. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely stay at Julia’s again if it is available.

It was Great!!! We love it and enjoyed ourselves. The house is beautiful, we enjoyed the games,outside and the sunroom.

Absolutely beautiful! The place was clean and inviting. The hosts had provided everything you could possibly imagine, even personal items if you forgot anything. There was so much to do for entertainment both inside and outside the home. We had a great time!

Very relaxing, peaceful and clean. Kitchen is fully stocked. Fishing dock was a plus for relaxing and enjoying nature. Just adults on this trip but can see our grands loving this spacious area. Highly recommend.

We had a great weekend at this lovely lake house. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the water and the view! Loved the property and all it had to offer. Curt was a great host, as well!

Our stay at Stuart’s place was nothing short of amazing. Property was just as described and had absolutely everything you could think of. We have stayed at Santee for the last 5 years and Stuart’s place was by far the best! We look forward to staying here again!

Don’t expect luxury accommodations, but it was clean, well equipped and everything worked. Nice supply of cleaning supplies and paper goods. Adequate kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans. Seemed to be a friendly safe neighborhood with view of Taw Caw Creek. We did not use the ramp or boat slip but it was available as is listed. Ample parking space available for boat trailer next to the house with access to electrical outlet. Only the one restaurant to easily walk to so pack in groceries or drive 15 minutes. Also restaurant was closed two days. Nicholas was a super host.

This was such a sweet little cabin on the lake! I left wondering how much it would be to build one just like it on some land back home! Great use of space and close to the water. Also there is a boat ramp just down the road. Really convenient!
