Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Opua

Shelley and Graham are the perfect hosts. Their little studio was just perfect for our weekend in Paihia for a wedding up at Bayley’s farm. Quiet and restful. Their fresh eggs were delicious (courtesy of resident chickens) and their coffee and muesli with peaches a breakfast treat. I will be looking up their place again if we are needing a place in Paihia. Thank you both for a lovely stay. ❤️

The home is very well set up and it is very well resourced eg plenty of towels, laundry powder and insects repellent and sun screen. We felt very well looked after. The setting is very quiet and private.

Great accommodation, walking distance to everything including the docks and restaurants. Communication was great and checking in was really easy. The location was wonderful with view of the water from the lounge. Accommodation had everything we needed and importantly the bathroom was spotless.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was super clean. It is bright and roomy. Graham and Lea had anticipated all our needs The patio outside added to the charm and coziness of the place. It was lovely to be able to sit there and relax in the beautiful garden after a day of sightseeing. We appreciated having the washer and dryer in the unit. Being met on our arrival by Graham with a fresh loaf of warm homemade bread made us feel so welcomed not to mention the homemade jams , cereal, milk and fresh fruit. We would not hesitate to return. There are many reasons they are super hosts. Thank you.

Our group of four had a great time at Peter and Jacqueline’s place and would definitely recommend it to others. The view was amazing (all the bedrooms had water views!). They were so helpful and the two resident cats were charming little co-hosts. We also enjoyed the spa on the upstairs deck—a great way to relax after a day of touring.

Great location close to hiking , Mt Manaia , and great swimming as there is no surf out front . Well equipped kitchen but the best was the quality bed . So many places here and in Canada have beds that should be recycled but not at Lil's .Thanks so much . Tom and Barbara

Amazing space, clean and like the photos. Easy check in and very close to city centre.

Brent and Leanne's place is prefect for a few days, with a separate living area and bedroom. No issue for me not having a kitchen, as I was dinning out, but you do have Fridge/Freezer, and a Microwave for re-heating. The bed was comfortable (for me). Only 3km to Kamo, and about 10 minutes to CBD (depending on time of day), which for me is nothing, as I live 12km to my nearest shop. So long as you have transport the location is great, out in the country side - nice and quiet. The location is handy to use as a base for day trips to the Bay of Islands, Matapouri/Whale Bay, and of course the local spots. I will be back in the future using it as a base for more trips.

If you would like to have coffee in watching the sunrise or dinner watching the sunset, this place is perfect, the deck wraps completely around with 360° spectacular views. Loved our stay, thank you so much Peter!

Beautiful house located on the hill with him walking distance of shops and the beach. Easy parking at the house very comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this home. Everything was immaculate, modern and had everything we needed and more. The kids room had toys and story books which was appreciated as we had a 1.5 year old. There were plenty of games and puzzles which provided hours of fun for everyone. It’s close to Paihia and even closer to main supermarket which was convenient. The hosts were very helpful and polite. The home was very thoughtful and considerate to guests. We appreciated the stay :)

Leah and Neil's place was perfect! We have a large family and it was plenty big enough for all of us, with the kids loving a play in the back yard. The location is awesome, nice and quiet but only a few mins from Town Basin. The house was really well stocked with everything you could need. Leah and Neil were very quick to respond to any questions as well. We would definitely like to come stay again.

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the view. The only suggestion I have for improvement is regarding the gas supply. On the second day of our stay, the gas ran out, which meant we couldn't have a nice breakfast the following morning. Aside from that, we really loved the place, the home, and the overall experience. Thank you
