Our new hand crafted Nivendale cabin uses cedar, poplar, oak, pine and driftwood harvested from our 150+ acre lakefront property. The unique rustic mock treehouse design has a large raised deck with an outdoor tree trunk window seat. Set among massive shady trees, it is beautifully furnished. Guests can enjoy our large adjacent campground shoreline with a swimming pier, and boat launch and canoe use at no charge. Recently featured in our local paper, there is no cabin quite like this.

We made our space unique with a kitchenette to encourage local dining, however our kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave that is also an air fryer and convection oven. We are also a happy host of our local talent with paintings and crafts to encourage shopping local.

There are multiple public boat launches for Lake Guntersville, located within 9 miles of the house. Our Airbnb has been setup with comfort and families in mind. Set in the trees of Birmingham's historic Eastlake district, the Birmingham Carriage House is an early 1900s home including all the modern amenities for a getaway filled with comfort & rest. Upon entry you will find a cozy queen-size bed, lush leather seating area, quaint kitchenette, and a bathroom you'll want to take home with you. Enter the second bedroom and you'll find a more private room, with dark shades, armchair, and personal TV.
