House vacation rentals in Ōmāpere

We were six couples who had a thoroughly enjoyable break from city life for 5 days. Used it as a base to do day trips to go fishing, trip to Cape Reinga and Kerikeri. Big comfortable home and friendly responsive host

Had an amazing weekend, awesome property had everything and more, pool was awesome for the kids and so was the yard. David is an excellent host, had awesome communication, was also very understanding when I forgot something at the house. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone.

Christine’s place in Russell is in a dream location. Just a few minutes walk into beautiful Russell. The house is lovely - spacious, well-equipped and ideal for 6 people. My son loved the pool too! We’ll definitely be back

Our stay at the Airbnb in Paihia was truly memorable. The space was not only clean and comfortable but also beautifully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. We loved how conveniently located it was, just a short walk from the beach and nearby restaurants. Our host was friendly and went above beyond to ensure we have everything we needed for comfortable stay. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy the stunning scenery of Paihia! Highly recommended place.

Gordon’s place was just as described, the downstairs was definitely the favourite among the teenagers. The kitchen was well-equipped and had all the utensils you’d need. The highlight was the complimentary snacks and beverages, it’s those little touches that really make a difference. Thanks again, will definitely be back some time soon.

Complete paradise, quiet, private, beautiful surroundings with gardens and lawn, lots of birds, kind hosts, lovely home with all the comforts, high end appliances and furnishings, kitchen wares, thoughtfully designed and decorated, easy parking, and gifted avocados! We stayed for one month needing good rest and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended for rest and if you want a peaceful place close to Whangarei, a beautiful city, with plenty of things to do, top notch museums, shopping, great restaurants (The Quay was our favorite), local entertainment, stunning walks as well as beautiful places within an hours drive, beaches, bays, rain forests, etc. Maungatapere is a short drive with quaint shops, post and restaurant too. You do need a car to get around from here and being in an orchard/rural area wifi calling only with internet a bit spotty, but doable. Karen and Grant were lovely hosts, very attentive if needed. We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and this has been our favorite one.

The extra touches were much appreciated- fresh herbs in the garden, chutneys in the fridge, generous amounts of crockery and cutlery. Even a real teapot and really nice tablecloth. The outside table was great for the evening meal. Linen and furnishings very tasteful. Couldn’t have been better.

Very comfortable accommodation with stunning views. Walkable to the local shops. We appreciated the little book of local walks provided. Got to see a lot more than we would have otherwise.

Had a really great weekend in Russell. Kirstys place was amazing and two nights was defiantly not enough. Highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from the city life for a weekend. The house was extremely clean and felt right at home. Will defiantly come back Cheers Ant
