Vacation rentals in Old Sarum

Wow, what an amazing place! This was our first Air B&B booking and was perfect for us, 6 adults and our black Labrador, Buster. The Tower was easy to find with clear directions provided and access simple with a key safe. The property was beautiful, quirky, interesting, well thought out, clean, homely, very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The pint of milk and bottle of rose in the fridge was a lovely touch. The Tower was a short drive to Wareham, where there were plenty of choices to eat and where you can hire boats and canoes. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are also within easy reach. Ellie was a fantastic host and responded to any questions very promptly. We were grateful that Gordon and Ellie were happy to share their beautiful home with us. The first thing to say about Paul's place is that it actually exceeded our already high expectations. The house is bigger and even nicer than we were expecting, and the garden is the real highlight. We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our friend's birthday and were extremely lucky with the weather which made it the perfect stay. So much space to spend the day relaxing in the garden, paddling in the stream, and lovely country walk options too. The house itself is well equipped with everything we needed to cook a big meal for 15 and was big enough to not feel crammed in with that many people there. We all absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave, and are already trying to find an excuse to come back again soon!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Dave and Emma’s beautiful home for a friend’s 40th birthday celebration! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stylish decor, spacious layout, and thoughtful touches throughout the house. It was the perfect setting for a special occasion, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook and entertain, and the living areas were cozy yet elegant. The outdoor space was a wonderful bonus, providing a great spot to unwind. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate, thank you for sharing your amazing home with us! We’d love to return in the future.

The Avon lodge was the perfect retreat for a relaxing couple of days in the countryside. The house was beautiful, cosy, and spotless and we will definitely be returning. A bonus was our lovely host Carole, bringing us fresh pastries for breakfast in the morning which were delicious!

Our stay at Poachers cottage was really wonderful and exactly what we had wanted. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the cottage was so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The facilities were incredible and we were very lucky to have the pool to ourselves with beautiful weather when we stayed. There was loads for our toddler to do and Adele had any bits we might need for him. I am pretty heavily pregnant and between the pool and the very comfortable beds I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and anytime I needed something, somehow it was already there in the cupboard or in the bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for more. Home made cake and local bits when we arrived and all. Honestly I’ve been so torn on whether to keep this place all to myself but I couldn’t help but rave about my holiday when I got home and have had 3 friends ask for the link to go and stay!

Great location and perfect for some nice walks. Katie was a great host and very generous; couldn't recommend highly enough.
