Old Lyme vacation rentals

Check in was easy. It was clean Everything was as described Parking was good. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. It worked well for our family. I would recommend it

We had a wonderful stay in Brian's charming home. The house is even more luxurious than in the photos--everything is first-class from the beds and linens; to the spacious kitchen with every new appliance you could need; to the comfy living room area with huge flat-screen TV. We had more than enough room for our family of four and our kids loved how close the private beach was, literally out the door. They kayaked and enjoyed walks on the beach. The area is in a very quiet, private neighborhood with close access to the shops and restaurants on Madison's main street. A perfect retreat any time of year, we hope to come back soon.

We loved our few days here. the house and amenities great and exactly as described. We were a family of four travelling from the UK and wanted a few days out of NYC (our main destination) for a change of pace. The property is in a very quiet residential area a minute away from the beautiful beach. It was very quiet in a chilly April but I guess may be quite different in the summer! We house was walkable (about 10/15 mins) from the main strip of shops and restaurants and a quick drive (10-15 mins) to New Haven for lots of other dining options. We enjoyed trips to New haven and Mystic during our visit. Would recommend!

It was wonderful stay and I’d go back anytime

Our group had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious home. It was spotlessly clean and well stocked with supplies. The 7 of us enjoyed gathering around a spacious table to play games in the bright roomy sunroom. It led out to a very nice patio with a comfy wicker couch and chairs. The host was very prompt in responding to us and was quick to satisfactorily address our questions. We had a wonderful,memorable time!

Laurie s place is very nice, spacious and clean. Plenty of space to eat, hang out and 2 bath. The fenced in yard is great for dogs or kids. We weren't in full summer season so we're not taking advantage of the beach and water options but they offer alot. Allowed for an early check in which was great as we were in town for a memorial service.

Beautiful home with lovely views. Great kitchen for cooking. We had 8 of us and the house was spacious and welcoming for the group.

We stay at Patti's place twice a year for a time of reflection. The location is peaceful and restful, right on the water. Patti always has a plate of cookies waiting for us and lets us know about any changes. We had a cold, wet first day, so were particularly delighted to be able to use the new gas fireplace, which kept everything warm and cozy. We're booked in for late fall already!

My main search was for a pet friendly rental so I could invite friends with a senior golden retriever. And secondly I wanted to be near the ocean. Having lived on Cape Cod for 25 years, I moved back to Connecticut a year ago after the passing of my wife. But the call of the ocean never fades and this rental was steps from East Beach. My stay was in February and the weather wasn't the best, but beach walks are always best when the only footsteps in the sand are your own. The rental was very accommodating with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living area and large, fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating is also included. Melissa was very attentive and always responded quickly when needed. I definitely recommend this rental for a peaceful adult retreat or for a full family vacation. Kids will love it with the big yard and kayaks available. Enjoy, John

We'd been looking forward to coming back to The Recycle House since we first stayed there in 2022. Safe to say it was just as we remembered it...great house, great location, wonderful community. Looking forwarded to returning.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

This is an AMAZING Airbnb. High quality blankets, towels, ornamental details throughout the space. Comfortable beds. Beautiful ambient lighting. Large backyard with a fire pit. The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful houses, surrounded by water, with lovey little shores and nooks to walk to. My 4 year old had toys to play with and a little potty that all came with the home. I will DEFINITELY stay again. My family and I loved this place.

Our family opted for a trip to New London to reconnect with our family for Thanksgiving. We were able to utilize the beautiful dining room for our dinner . We loved staying at Rosa’s place and were very comfortable . Just a note - there is only one bathroom and it is on the second floor ( as are all the bedrooms) We made this work but can be difficult with a larger family . It would definitely not deter me from booking again! This place was beautiful. The surrounding area and ease of access was comforting ! Would definitely stay here again .

This was a perfect place to stay with our dog and 2 small children. The fenced in yard was secure. You can easily walk to many restaurants, or like us, just for fun with the dog and kids. Joe was immediately responsive when I messaged him with questions and when I inquired about a late check out, he was happy to let us stay a few hours longer which was really nice.

This was our second stay at Judie's place. The house is immaculately clean, from easy check in, instructions left, comfortable beds, location is amazing, walkable into town. Showers are great, I could go on and on about how great the space is. We will definitely stay here again when back in Greenport.

Perfect location and beach access is excellent. Plenty of space for a big family to stay and sleep comfortably and have fun walking to beach, carousel and arcade every day.

Excellent stay. The Private beach is perfect for families and is an extremely short distance from the house which is convenient. Great view of the ships right from the windows. Stay was perfect

The home was exactly as described! It was lovely. A serene and peaceful vibe throughout and in the yard. both roomy and spacious. We were even surprised to get a water view from the top deck! All and all the house was very well appointed with everything we needed from chef quality pots and pans and dishes as well as a new out side gas grille! Beautiful artwork through out! Julie was great to work with and gave us excellent ideas for what to do and where to go in the area. We will surely go back! A great place for couples or a family with children.

A happy annual reunion weekend with friends. This was a great spot that was comfortable and clean and had all the conveniences we needed. We even got so lucky with the weather to be able to use the deck looking out onto the water. Good times.

Chloe's home was perfect for our stay as we wanted to be near my son in Old Saybrook. She was responsive and accommodating with my questions and needs always getting back to me right away. Check in was easy and I received emails all along the way which was helpful as I am a first time airbnb person. The home was immaculate with everything as it said it would be. I would definitely stay again and recommend this home.

Stayed here when I came back to visit my hometown-was a peaceful and beautiful New England cottage! The place had everything needed and was very clean! Would love to stay again in the summer time!

A fantastic beach house in a wonderful, quiet location, just a twenty-minute walk from all the town’s amenities and restaurants. The house itself offered substantial accommodation across both floors and was exactly as the owner described. Our only small recommendation would be for the owner to provide some blankets around the house. During our stay, the outside temperature dropped as low as 35°F, and although the house has heating, the open-plan living area could get a little chilly. Other than that, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this property to any family looking to stay in Niantic.

Cozy, clean, beach gettaway. 2 Min walk to the beach. Fresh ocean air. Beautiful big back-deck and comfortable beds. Excellent, responsive hosts. Very good deal! Would stay here again.
