Vacation rentals with lake access in Odda Municipality

We had to travel to Odda on short notice and be there for several days for family reasons. We were lucky enough to rent Orinta's house, and it was a perfect fit for us who are a family of five adults. The house is almost right in the center of Odda and there is free parking close by. Located in a garden (which is safe in the summer), the house is nicely decorated. Everything was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. We'd love to come again!

We had a great stay in Anders's house. Due to bad weather we enjoyed the house even more, it had everything we need and we felt at home. Anders was really responsible and helpful. Bergen is close for easy visiting. Definitely recommendation!

We started the year with a great experience in Ingvild's wonderful house in Northeimsund, on the banks of the Hardanger- fjord. Based on the exact instructions of the host, we found the house easily, although the check-in didn't go the first time, but Ingvild was quick to help. The clean, comfortable, fully equipped house made our family of 7 feel at home. In the separate children's corner , colored pencils, toys, table and child chair have created a private play area for our kids. Of course, we also got a crib. We fired up in a fireplace in the living room to raise the atmosphere of the evenings. Thanks for the coffee and biscuits , candles too. We have experienced such maximum facilities in few places: toilet paper, hand soap, washing powder, sugar, chaise, tea filter, washing machine, fuel. Thank you Ingvild, great experience and relaxation related to Norway!

A perfect place for us with peace and quiet - easy to get to Bergen where we had 2 good days and fantastic hiking on the island that we went 2 other days. Could have spent a lot more time on the island. Was welcomed by Runar's father and got useful information about trips to hike, etc.

Ingers and Knuts place was just wonderful, the fjord in front of us, kajaks to be rent for free, swimming directly from the house, incredible views, a very kind and hospitable host, a easy accessible sauna, fishing ropes, bicycles, just everything what we needed. Knut welcomed us, showed us around and he and his wife were just always available when we needed something. And the wooden house with its details was just wonderful to live in for a week. We would love to come back!! Thank you so much.

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

What a fabulous central location. Apartment exactly as described…really comfortable and cosy. We slept really well. Good WiFi and well stocked with books & games. We mostly ate out but kitchen is well stocked. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great instructions, great place

We had a lovely stay. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from things in Øystese. The sauna overlooking the fjord is amazing.

We spent our winterbreak holiday at her place for the second time around. It felt like a home away from home. It has newly renovated bathroom. Almost everything we needed was readily available. Berit was very welcoming. The kids had fun and we would denitely come back. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing stay with the sweetest and helpful host. Cleaned up snow and helped us every step of the way. Super hospitable and just hugely friendly couple. The apartment was cozy and we got great recommendations.

Great place to stay and the view over the fjord is beautiful. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and kitchen is great for cooking. And Miranda was a great host. An extra bonus for knitters, there is a wool shop nearby and you can make great bargains there :)

If you come to Odda and want to experience nature and waterfalls. This place is a must. It’s off a private driveway. The place is spacious and you will feel at home immediately. The heated bathroom floors is a huge bonus.

The house is even nicer and bigger than you could see on the pictures. We did not use the boat house on the side, but it offers a good opportunity to spend time by the water in any weather. The hosts are very kind, we were greeted directly and we were shown the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cottage in a very nice location. A beautiful garden and short way down to the water. The cabin is furnished in an old and cozy style. Happy to come back!

Second time we stayed at Lilliann's. We wrote a review before this one. The home was still just as great. It's neat and quiet. We slept very well after camping a few nights outside. Thank you for helping us again with all your knowledge!

Tor was a very friendly and welcoming host. He was interested in helping with our genealogy touring and worked to link us with locals. After 10 days with a tour group, we appreciated being in a home where we could spread out and relax. Everything we needed to prepare meals was available. It was great to have a washer to do laundry! We hope to return!

Responsive host, nice and clean house

Ok: if you're into resting & doing some work at a peaceful location then this is it! Cozy, warm, everything works. (If you're there to have a party, then stay far far away from it - the place is calm and peaceful and doesn't need you turning on your lousy, cheap JBL and howling towards the mountains "how amazing you are for existing" ) Anyhow :D , it's one of the pearls of planet: no tourism - just natural beauty and being. If you haven't had a farm-/summerhouse, you might be a bit "stuck up", how everything isn't entirely spot clean or new, but for humans, it's a sincere, cozy place that has been treated with respect - and you should too ! ;) I'll bring my stingy attitude (because I really enjoyed it and wish it lasted for decades) a bit more down and say: go and have a great time! It's a real experience (especially if you're from a flat land)! :)
