Vacation rentals in Odai, Taki District

Unfortunately I was injured on the train prior to arrival. As a result we needed to cut our stay short. Perhaps we can return on a future trip.

There was also a record, and I was able to play music from my phone, and it was really comfortable to have everything I wish I had, such as condiments, cooking items, and charging cords!I want to stay here again!

The view was good near the sea. The location was also easy to understand, and communication with the host was smooth. Thank you very much.

We had a fantastic time in Kamo staying at Wheeler’s Den. Each day offered something new and novel to see and explore and it was always so nice to return to the cosy space Junko and Philip have created. Thank you both ☺️

Takeshi was very friendly. He explained a lot about the house. Including how to operate the record player in the 'speakeasy'! It is a charming and traditional house. It makes you feel like you live in a real house rather than a holiday home. The diagram of what to expect (which is listed in the pictures of the house) is very accurate. It was a nice experience to live in the tatami rooms and having to make our own beds with the futons. Even though it's kind of remote, it's not completely quiet at night: you can hear some noises from the fishing boats at the pier. It makes you realise that you're pretty close to the ocean. It was nice to walk along the harbour and piers: very clear water with a lot of fish. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sea turtles. Maybe next time!

This place was absolutely perfect. The reviews about Ryochi's hosting are 100 % legit. Best BNB host I have ever interacted with. Picked us up at the station and dropped us off. Offered guidance on transportation, but also offered guidance on how to spend our time in Koyasan. All great recommendations. He was able to make a dinner reservation for us and it was fantastic. The place Itself is art itself! Amazing use of limited space. it feels big and spacious, despite being a studio. Really comfy place to stay for a few days. Family Mart literally next door for morning coffee and snack runs. not to mention the cute Pon Poko restaurant right next door..we had a great experience eating there with the family who owns the place..one of those small moments you hope to have on a trip. Book the spot now. You will be stoked.
