Cottage vacation rentals in Ocean City

Needed a clean, quiet place for a long weekend for a local wedding. Very few options willing to accomodate us. The property and Tim were wonderful

We stayed here for a mom and kids getaway over memorial Day weekend! From first contact, Sarah was welcoming, helpful and accommodating to our needs. We had several children 5 and under and there was plenty of games and rooms for everyone to have a good time. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of utensils, bags, plates pots pans etc. the appliances were a bit dated, but honestly worked better than anything you'd get new! We were about 20 mins away from Cape Henlopen, Rebobeth and other local beaches. It was an easy drive for us and we got to enjoy to quiet neighborhood rather than the hustle and hustle of your traditional east coast beach town. All in all this was one of the best Air BnB experiences I've ever had and I could not recommend these hosts enough!! -Mandy

Our vacation house was absolutely beautiful and exuded a romantic charm that made our stay truly special. The pool was fantastic, providing the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We appreciated the exceptional privacy, which allowed us to enjoy our time without any interruptions. The house itself was impeccably maintained and spotless, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

We spent the month of June at the house and it was great. The house is exactly as pictured. The hosts were responsive to our questions very quickly. We loved the large screened porch overlooking a forested area and ate almost all our meals there. The community was very friendly with great walking paths (especially the one along the water off Marina Drive) and a very big & nice pool. Our grandchildren visited and loved the pool and playground. While it can take 20 minutes or more to get to the beach in Lewes or Rehoboth (and there is building and construction that can slow the trip), we discovered another beach in nearby Angola Reserve on Rehoboth Bay for our grandchildren to play on the sand though we did not swim there. We only saw one or two others on the beach so it was like our private place. There are many great restaurants in Lewes (Kindle is our favorite) but we also enjoyed the nearby JD Shuckers. We can't say enough good things about this house and place. We hope to return

I loved the place, very homey, quiet. If you like the pool, the Yacht club is your place as it has the pool and the bar/restaurant area. If you like the beach, you will need to travel 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic to the Beach Club in OC. That we really enjoyed; my grandchildren wanted to go there every day. I enjoyed the convenience of parking with no hassle, access to the beach, the pool and restaurant. My grandchildren enjoyed playing corn hole. My elderly mother came later in the week, and they have a beach wheelchair available free of charge. That was a big plus for us. The staff was really friendly. I will definitely come back again. Last but not least the owner Deborah was pleasant, approachable and quick to respond to what we needed. Thank you Deborah I greatly appreciated. Eva Smith and family.

This was our second trip to Catherine's retreat and we loved our stay this time even more than our first. Both Catherine and her husband assisted us when we had questions and provided suggestions for local events. The property is such a restful delight; from the pool, the views of the marshes, the quiet, and the plethora of wildlife to see. The home is comfy and we had everything we needed to make ourselves great meals and just soothe the soul. Between spending time on Assateague by day and returning to this special place at night, we came home restored. Thanks again!

We stayed at Eileen’s several times this summer and always had a great stay. We felt as if it was our home away from home. Eileen is super responsive and her cottage was perfect for our beach getaways. Quiet, peaceful, yet close to all the attractions we enjoy. Thank you, Eileen!

What a great stay in Ocean City! Robert couldn’t have been more responsive and the space was better than advertised. So many amenities provided - it felt like we were at home! Highly recommended - we will be booking again on our next trip to the OC.

My friend and I loved staying at this little house. It was so close to the beach, the hot tub was amazing in the evenings and the house was comfortable and welcoming. It was clean, organized and well stocked with the towels. Great little getaway spot at a wonderful price.

Brian’s home is a little of slice of heaven. My BF and came to Delaware for a romantic quiet weekend and we were more than pleased. Brian’s home encapsulated the experience we were looking for. The quiet outdoors and the fire pit along with the Hot tub was everything we wanted and more. The home is super clean and quaint. We were able to cook n grill with ease. The local market is close by and others places in close proximity as well. We will be back again next year for sure.

Our stay was great! The house was perfect size and had everything we need for a great beach trip. Just a short drive (or tram ride) to the beach and some great places within walking distance. We felt right at home. Gannon was extremely responsive, friendly, and a great host.

This was our second time staying at JoJo’s cottage and it was another amazing experience! The house really makes you feel like you’re right at home. The kitchen is well stocked, so we were able to do a lot of cooking at the house. But you’re also so close to so many restaurants for when you’re feeling something easier! It really is a perfect spot, especially if you have dogs and/or kiddos. We would totally book again next summer 😊

We were the very first guests in Eric’s house and we thought Eric did a good job to prepare for his first guests. There are still a few things to improve but I’m sure those will get improved with time. Overall, this is a great house in a very quiet neighborhood. Only a few miles away from the beach. There is a full size on the ground pool that is pretty new and it was a nice surprise especially for kids. Kitchen has everything you need and maybe more. We’ve had a few issues in the beginning but Eric was real quick to respond and help resolve the issues. Additionally, he was checking in sporadically through our stay to make sure everything was going well. We thought it was a good value for a house in Lewes during very busy season. I would recommend anyone looking for a stay in Lewes to give this house a chance.

The house is spacious, clean, and conveniently located. Laura made everything simple, including easy check-in and good local tips. It was perfect and fun for four, but would comfortably accommodate more!

We had a very nice stay. Everything was very clean and nicely appointed. Our two doodles loved it too. Will is a very gracious host and we highly recommend him and his properties anytime you want to come to the Bethany beach area. We will be coming back very soon. Thank you.

The house was exactly as seen on website would definitely stay again..definitely longer just to have a bbq and fire 🔥 easy to get to town..very quiet felt like home .i live in the woods in the hudson valley already showed my friends and family house 🏠 thank you so much 💓

Great place for a pet friendly house at ocean city. A few blocks from the beach and in walking distance to food, playground, mini golf and ice cream.

We enjoyed our stay at Matt's place. It was clean and had everything we needed. He was a very responsive and helpful host! The place was a little smaller than it looked in the photos but it was plenty big enough for my wife and I. We would recommend it!

Although we were concerned about noise because the cottage is not far off of a busy highway, we could not hear any traffic once inside the house and it was blissfully quiet at night. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on screened-in porch despite some traffic sound. House is surrounded by woods, feels very private. Inside, had everything you could want for an easy and enjoyable stay, including kitchen supplies. Really easy access to Assateague Island (just down the highway), and to Berlin, where we had several delicious meals. Imry was super responsive when we heard a clicking in the house and fixed it. We would definitely stay there again if we're back down that way.

The pictures do not do justice for this rental. I have been staying in Ocean Pines for years now, this is by far the nicest place we stayed at. Colleen was great with communication before arriving and when leaving. The house is right along the canal in Ocean Pines. This is where "everyone wants to be" when staying in Ocean City. The house was clean, nice large deck and closed in porch to relax during the evenings. Honestly, I can't say enough about this rental. If you are not sure about renting, take it from me, you will not regret this find!
