We had the best time here. The space is great with two rooms and the couch bed. But the location is truly unbeatable. Everything is within a 10-15 minute walk including Titlis. There’s also a free shuttle stop across the street. The hosts were immediately responsive and helped us with anything we needed. It’s also incredibly convenient having laundry, and a separate locked gear/equipment room just downstairs. Our room also had a magnificent, uninterrupted view of the mountains that was spectacular in the mornings. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Michael and Rahel are wonderful hosts, warm welcoming and friendly. A perfect cozy flat within close walking to the lake and swimming lido and an easy 8-10 min walk into the main part of town. Brienz is so pretty and a sensational base to explore the region. Super easy to get into Interlaken and all the connections. I would so recommend staying in Brienz as your base, and if solo or couple and this property available, don’t hesitate to book!!! Would definitely stay again if I come back to Brienz. 10/10 rating.

Something about this location is truly magical—we decided it’s our favorite place we’ve ever stayed in. There’s a coziness here that feels like home. It’s the perfect abode for a single person or a couple and is the perfect base camp to explore the mountains around Engelberg. Pavel went above and beyond to accommodate us and is a friendly, warm, inviting host. I cannot recommend this location more. We’re certain we’ll be back someday to experience its magic again.

The "Location" rating needs an option to add a sixth star. Wow!! It was a stunning setting, and we had a memorable stay. We felt like we were up in our own world, about 700 meters up the mountain. Sarah was always so friendly and helpful. she was a gracious host, and helped us out in a pinch a couple of times.

Very nice and quiet place to travel around interlaken area

The apartment was a quick 10 mins walk from the Engelberg main train station. However, if you are carrying tons of luggage or with young families then it's best to take the free shuttle bus that stops in front of the apartment. The apartment was as per pictures. The place was clean and items are in very good condition. The kitchen is well furnished. Ideal for families.

We stayed at Urs's house for a little over a week, it was a great place to spend a few days traveling around the neighborhood, admiring the scenery, hiking or really relaxing in nature. The house was clean, well equipped, warm (we were in October). The owner - very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it)))

The accommodation was above our expectation and the host had made sure that everything that you might need was available, the area was also breathtaking and wonderful to walk around and see the nature of what Lungern has to offer, the host was responsive and very kind. I highly recommend this place and can assure that whoever does will love it!

Within walking distance from the train (even with luggage), to be met by the hosts in person who made check in super easy and answered all the questions about the town. Couldn’t be located in a better spot in town, the furniture is a little outdated but other than that very clean and well kept with everything you could ever need. Fantastic time here!

The view was absolutely gorgeous with a panoramic view of the alps and Mt. Titlis. We could see the cable car for Titlis from the balcony. The WiFi worked very well. The beds were comfy and we had great sleep. The kitchen was very well equipped. Manuel was very responsive and answered all our queries quickly. Everything shown in the listing pictures were accurate. Overall the unit was very well maintained and would definitely recommend this for Titlis trip.

My fiance and I stayed for one week due to work and found the area as a prospective option to possibly move to one day. The apartment itself was very quaint, quiet, and peaceful. Verena responded quickly to our questions and was thoughtful to ask of how we liked our stay multiple times. I would recommend staying here if you are interested in the mountainous views and small town lifestyle.

Great quite neighborhood.

We came to Stacey’s for our honeymoon wanting a romantic getaway, and we could not have chosen a better place! It was so cozy, peaceful and the hosts were both extremely friendly. The hot tub was so dreamy in the snow. The whole time we were there we were dreading leaving. Already planning our return. Thank you so much Stacey!

We had a fabulous stay. We were central to all of the places we wanted to visit. We did public transportation all over Switzerland. Adrian was always in communication with me quickly, since the time I booked the flat, nine months the ago. This was our first international trip, and we were very happy to have such a warm welcome with all of the questions. The flat was beautiful and peaceful. It rained a couple days, but the terrace was still great to sit outside with a blanket and heater. The hot tub was great after a day of running around site seeing. We truly appreciate our first experience in Switzerland.

Barbara was the best host we had during our trip around Europe. We arrived by car and had the bad luck or luck that the first snowfall fell, therefore access to their home was complicated and slow, since although it is close to Lucerne, with snow it complicates everything arriving at midnight. However, Barbara and her husband waited to go for us to the area where the car arrived and take us home h the two days we were there supported us at all times. She also lent us sleds to play in the snow and the food she provided was excellent, rich and super fresh. Undoubtedly the best Airbnb they can choose to go to the snow. Beautiful landscapes.
