Places to stay in Oak Bay

We had an absolutely incredible time at Joni and Robin’s place. The property is stunning and the cabin was so cozy and beautifully decorated and equipped perfectly. The area is so serene and peaceful. It’s also quite close to restaurants and cafes. Joni was lovely to converse with and is keen on making sure everything is just right for her guests. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we’ve been talking about the place everyday since we left! We implore you to stay here - you will build incredible memories and be so well taken care of! We will definitely be back. Thank you Joni and Robin!!

A nice place to stay at while visiting Brentwood Bay. Lots of available parking along the street, a nice clean suite, and a very comfortable bed!

Gerry was as excellent of a host as they come! He met us upon arrival to help us find the house. He was very flexible even though we were running later than we thought due to the ferry. The house is amazing - so clean, updated and comfortable. And it has all the comforts of home that you would need. He goes above and beyond, and we will definitely stay there again!

The Cedar Nook was a beautiful place to stay for the weekend. We went as a family of four for a wedding and it had everything we needed. The place was clean, quiet, and well stocked. Thank you for hosting us!!

Niki and Neale’s place was amazing and was perfect for my stay On Salt Spring. The property was exactly as shown and was very clean. The location right by Fulford ferry terminal and public transit made for a very convenient trip. On my first day there Neale was nice enough to put a load of laundry on for me and Niki was very accommodating when I needed anything throughout my stay. Their dog Gus is adorable and always made sure to greet me whenever I came outside! I highly recommend staying with Niki and Neale and will absolutely be coming back!

The unit is incredibly well-located—just five minutes from the beach, with amenities close by and Elk Lake only a couple minutes away. The space was thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need, from the kitchen to the bathroom. A particularly lovely touch was the welcome samosas waiting for us on arrival! Jacky was an exceptional host—attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

This suite is everything we were looking for! Quiet, clean, private, cooking space and utensils. It looked exactly like the pictures. Jai’s instructions were spot on and we had no difficulty finding it. A fantastic find in a beautiful area.

The suite is clean, well stocked, comfy and spacious. Everything is nice quality and the beds were cozy! The room in the turret with all the windows is breathtaking! The property is stunning, we enjoyed it throughout the day and even at night , just listening to the waves and the wildlife. It would be nice to have more options to enjoy it outside on cooler nights (maybe a hot tub), we couldn’t use the fire table because of the wind. BUT we really can’t complain. The space is as described if not better. The hosts were lovely, very kind and accommodating- they thought of small details, from extra baby blankets to a welcome tray of delightful and delicious essentials (coffee, bread, local eggs and more!) Only thing we didn’t love was the walk in shower, just cause we had little ones with us and it was a bit slippery for them- but we managed. Everything else was true perfection.

This place truly felt like a home away from home. Lots of space for the 4 of us, comfy beds and lots of places to sit and relax. Sooke is a beautiful place to visit and Sean's place is a great place to stay while you explore the town.
