Beach house vacation rentals in Norway

Our stay in Rune's place was so phenomenal I am not sure where to start. The location is absolutely stunning, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a beautiful bay and snowy mountains in the distance. The house is tastefully furnished and well equipped for all our needs, an extra bonus was finding some cooking basics like S&P, oil and vinegar, sugar and coffee, etc. Everything worked super well (sauna, fireplace, kitchen appliances, heating...) and his recommendations were spot on. Best of all is that we took a gamble staying outside of Tromso hoping to see aurora borealis from our house, and Rune's place also delivered in this regard - we saw them beautifully 3 nights out of 5 (despite weather forecast indicating rain every day). I hope we can be lucky enough to stay again!

We had a fantastic week in a beautiful part of the world. The house was perfect for us with separate areas which allowed for separate activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Hege was very helpful Thankyou for making our week extra amazing.

What a great place to stay while visiting Trondheim. Slightly out of the city which made it quieter. Bus stops were a two minute walk from the house which made it easy to get to and from the city, if you don’t have a car (as we did) or couldn’t be bothered having to try to find parking in the city. The house was very comfortable with plenty of space for the four adults on our trip. There wasn’t anything about this property that we didn’t like. The jacuzzi is a bonus after a long day walking around the sights of the city and surroundings.

Great stay. Amazing and friendly host. I highly recommend. The house is small but very well equipped with high quality amenities. Very good location for visiting Larvik, the surrounding area or an overnight before the ferry.

We had a great time at Jeanettes cozy House next to the water. The house has everything you need and Jeanette is always helping and communicative. We enjoyed the nice view, the option of using the kayaks and had wonderful strolls trough nature. Thank you for having us :)

We had an absolutely fantastic 3-night stay at Mitra’s place, and what’s even more impressive is that we booked it with less than a day’s short notice! Mitra was incredibly accommodating, even offering us an early check-in to match our early flight, which made everything so much easier. From the moment we arrived, Mitra was warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house was perfect — cozy, clean, and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and spent hours soaking up the sun on the dock while admiring the stunning Oslofjord. It was an absolute highlight of our trip. One of the unique touches that made our stay extra special was the instruments and JBL stereo in the living room. We had such a great time playing music by the water, creating memories that we’ll cherish for a long time. Thank you, Mitra, for your amazing hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to coming back!

The house is well furnished and tip-top clean. Jan Helge is very helpful and also speaks good German.

We had such a great time staying at Audun Terje's beautiful home. Spotless, everything was perfect. It has everything we needed. The pool was so nice. The house and the view are perfections. Always get a response from Audun whenever we have questions. Such a beautiful place. We didn't have a nice weather, we didn't enjoy much of the beach and the island but we will come back probably in summer time. The view is amazing. Gave us a peaceful vibe. We love it.

Very neat and convenient home! Large and spacious, nice with bedroom distributed on two floors with its own wing for the teenagers. Tidy and well equipped 😊 Great outdoor area where the whole gang had a good time.

We cannot say enough good things about Kjetil’s place! From the minute we walked in it felt like home. It was so clean and modern with any amenities you could think of. My kids loved all the toys (and the outdoor swing!) and all the space. The view of the fjords (and sheep!) were amazing. We loved all the water equipment provided including the paddle boards, motor boat, hot tub, and canoe. The kids loved having movie nights on the projector screen. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the black out curtains. It was also such a peaceful location, but we loved walking to the garden center cafe, around the property, and driving to the town close for the museum. I actually don’t think the pictures do the place justice, it is so beautiful in person! 10/10 recommend and we would love to come back!

This beautiful magical cabin truly MADE our trip!!!! I’ve never stayed at a cleaner or more peaceful airbnb or had a more responsive host. From the time we booked til throughout the trip, Urd was super responsive and consistently shared tips and recommendations for our trip (that were all right on the ball!) including not needing to book a northern lights tour (we saw the lights 4/5 nights!). The home is pristine and cozy and area is like a real winter village come to life. If you’re staying in Tromso, do not miss out on this cabin!!!! I absolutely cannot recommend more. :)

It was the loveliest house with plenty of room for our family, three generations, 5 adults and a baby. We were super lucky with the weather and used the lovely terrace all the time. The house is well equipped, neat , clean and practical. Highly recommend the place.

Spectacular place! The views are unreal being right on the water. The house is stunning on the inside and has great design. Very cozy. The out door spa, fire and kayaks were amazing. We would love to return.

It was a wonderful stay at Bodil and Jan's place. The home is beautiful, allowing you to relax in a wonderfully designed and cozy space. The location is like a fairy tale. Away from the world and tourists, right on the coast. A sea full of treasures under the house. Hosts have also lent us their sauna for an additional fee. We'll definitely be back.

Our holiday in Norway was really great - Anne's great house also contributed to this. Even with eight people, it was big enough that everyone felt comfortable. There are small seating everywhere, all couples had their own room. The kitchen and living room is really very cozy- the garden and location is fantastic!!! In any case, the accommodation is recommended.

We had a good stay at Kenneth and Jeanette's house. Great picturesque location and only 30 mins drive to Bergen The property is right at the end of a private road and it was 100% peaceful and private. The hosts were super helpful giving recommendations and advice. Thank you.

Great summer house for two families with 5 little ones, aged between 1 and 5. Very well equipped kitchen for the big and toys/activities for the little ones. A super garden and "crawl distance" to the swimming beach. Very good communication and instructions from the host.
