Vacation rentals in Norton Fitzwarren

We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

We arrived in the dark after a horrible journey - but once we got through the door a beautiful Christmas Tree welcomed us - the lights on the tree and decorations were fabulous. We stayed just 2 nights and we had a very comfortable stay (even though it was blowing a gale outside). The log burner was very welcome, with abundant logs. We took a walk down to St Andries Bay beach, again very windy - but bracing. Su obviously takes a pride in her attention to detail. The supplies of helpful things was very good - tea, coffee, wc rolls, DW tabs, etc. Lots of small kitchen appliances and DW and WM. The double bed was very comfortable and I’m told the single beds were comfy too. We went to the Harness Bar on site for a drink and game of pool. We had a meal at the Windmill Inn near by. A very good break, thank you.

I would say it’s the best house I have ever been in for my one-week journey. The housewares are in good condition, the beds allow sleeping comfortably, and the kitchen - which is the best of all - has all kinds of seasonings and ingredients (even including several Chinese ones!) and kitchenwares! We have a lovely stay there and a fabulous meal cooked by ourselves! Speaking of the surroundings, you can literally walk to anywhere in this small town from the house within 15 mins. What’s more, the house is located at the High Street, where you can find tons of interesting stores and restaurants.

A great base for me and my elderly parents to stay while visiting relatives in Shaldon and Teignmouth. Coast Cottage’s added benefit of a parking permit (at the GP surgery opposite on evenings and weekends) helped keep parking worries to a minimum. Lovely cottage, super clean, well equipped and pleasantly furnished. Will not hesitate to return.

What a wonderful 5 days I've had staying at Linsey property. It was everything I needed, peace and quiet, with lovely views and a warm calm space to enjoy. I had the absolute best time, it was clean and modern, the log burner was an absolute bonus and made for really cosy nights. I went to Exeter for the day to enjoy the Christmas Market, and just driving around the area was so beautiful. Really clear instructions on everything from checking in to checking out, and Linsey was always available if I needed her. Thank you for a lovely stay, I can't wait to come back!!

A lovely place to stay for a few days get away just 5 mins drive or 25 min walk down to the beach. Easy reach of Honinton for my sky dive and 15 minutes from the sandy beach at Lyme Regis. Lynne was a great host and her place was lovely and clean and relaxing and I will definitely return next year.

Fantastic location and well equipped property Perfect for guests with dog/dogs, easy access to beach and there is a great restaurant within a short walk Andrew the host was helpful and knowledgable Peaceful place with stunning views of the sea, great place to escape !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this seaside accommodation in Lyme Regis! The place was spotless and beautifully presented, with a modern, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a joy. The view from the property was simply stunning—overlooking the bay and the iconic Cobb, we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop. The location was perfect—just a short stroll to the sea, making it incredibly convenient for walks along the beach or exploring the charming town. A special mention to our host, Tristan, who was so thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay. He went above and beyond, including a lovely gift basket upon arrival, which was a wonderful touch. His local recommendations were spot-on, including the Kiosk for great breakfast bagels and coffee, making our visit even more memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and would definitely return. Highly recommend!
