Wonderful stay and fantastic host!

The cabin was fantastically designed and surrounded with a warm and Finnish vibe. The neighborhood is very peaceful and perfect for aurora watch (we saw tee lights everynight; right out of the windows !) The kids enjoyed snow ball fight in the backyard and the sleds were lovely additions. we would love to come back again in the summer time to enjoy the river!

If you are traveling to Rovaniemi STAY HERE! Jorma is such a gracious host and attention to detail and the comfort of his guests is evident at every turn. He was there to greet us and get us checked in and even had chilled champagne waiting for us. The house is spacious, comfortable and beautifully styled. The sauna and pool were amazing and the views over the snow from the upstairs living room was so peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. The grocery is walkable and we even walked from the center of town across the bridge back to the house on our first night. I have to say Jorma's place spoiled us for other Air BnB places. If you are planning to do winter adventures, I would highly recommend Nordic Odyssey. They are a French owned company and were lovely to work with. Small group adventures and every tour guide was amazing. We got so lucky avoiding some of the companies that only had big groups

Kari's place is a wonderful area to explore in any season. the natural views from the window 🪟 is soothing. big or small for any vacation it's a worth it place. kari decorated the house for my kids and he was very friendly. he lives nearby and ready to help you anyway he can. the house is exactly 💯 what is shown in the picture. fully equipped and the pool inside was thriller. My kids enjoyed every bit of it. it's a nice place to recommend and we will go back there again.

I totally recommend it! You can feel the positive energy from the first seconds. We loved the wooden pieces of furniture and the sauna.

This home was lovely. It was perfect for our stay in Rovaniemi while searching for Northern Lights and Santa. The host was beyond helpful. He came over to guide us through any questions and was very responsive. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The sauna and hot tub made the stay extra special during the chilly winter. Highly recommend this home if you are looking for a cozy spot in Rovaniemi!

We had a very last minute booking and Stig accommodated us without an issue. Incredible hospitality. Stig was in contact with us the entire time advising on route and weather, and made sure to welcome us on the doorstep and show us the house. Breakfast was available for €15 extra and was delicious and convenient. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Would absolutely stay again 👌

Wow! This place was amazing everything and more that has already been said, hosts were incredibly personable & friendly. The location is just stunning! So peaceful and so many amenities at the villa. We stayed for four nights at the end of November but wished we’d booked longer! If you haven’t already booked do it now and add on at least a couple of days as you won’t want to leave. As far as location goes it’s one main road to everywhere, airport, supermarkets, resorts & santas village then off that main road there is one long drive (around 2.3miles) to the villa we found getting around in our rental very easy even in the snow and ice. This place is a must!! you won’t regret it. Already considering booking again next year

We had a wonderful time at Daiva's place! It was just as shown in the listing, clean and bigger than expected, with a nice christmas tree and a big living room and 2 bedrooms, great for the family. The place has a kitchen, washing machine, dryer and sauna which was awesome for the cold weather. The free parking is a short walk away from the house. There is a school just opposite and aurora was slightly visible from the house when we were there.

A wonderfully peaceful and cozy yard for lounging and the lakeside sauna had good steam. The clean space and the bed was great for sleeping. Found everything you need.

Pekka is a fantastic host. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The property was ideal for us as a family and very spacious. The kids loved sledding in the garden! I had a great experience staying at Johanna's place! Johanna has helped to arrange for my non-english speaking parents pick up from the airport, which has given us great comfort, as our flight was landing a few hours later. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—quiet yet close to everything we wanted to explore. Johanna was incredibly welcoming, providing clear instructions and even offering great local recommendations. Communication was prompt, and I really appreciated how they made sure we had everything we needed throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, family friendly, and cozy place to stay. Thank you

Fantastic stay all-round. Pasi is an excellent host. Communications with him were easy and most of the time his proactive was beat me to my question. He even called us one night with a tip to go out to see the northern lights. The house was amazing for an extended family of five adults and three kids. It’s the best equipped AirBnB we’ve stayed at. We cooked a lot at the house, enjoyed the sauna and hot tub each night, and the backyard was great for the kids. We had a car that made the location excellent. It’s also walkable to the Ounasvaara ski resort and by a public bus route. Highly recommend. The only suggestion I’d have is that while the photos in the post look great and accurate, the place is actually nicer and extremely comfortable and highly functional. Top notch.

It's a really nice place to stay and spend Christmas. Nothing to complain about. Plus a well-stocked kitchen and smooth communication with the host.
