Farmstay vacation rentals in Northern Finland

Our stay at Kati’s place exceeded our expectations. We felt so welcomed and cozy, and Kati helped us become part of the local community for our short stay. The house itself is very specious, with two bedrooms and another large living room with two couches, a bed and a fireplace , a spacious kitchen and a bathroom. The area around the house is full of nature, perfect for daily walks through the forest and to the river. Rovaniemi is about a 50 minute drive from the house, on a direct road to the city. Overall we had the perfect stay and hope to come back again to Kati’s place!

Great house and stunning nature.

We booked this place to see the Aurora for our honeymoon. Thank you so much for being considerate and always taking care of our fill. The homemade bread that jorma gave us was so delicious. I keep remembering. It was an unforgettable memory to take a walk in the forest together and walk on the frozen lake. It was so nice to tell you how to make traditional Finnish bread and be able to make it together. It was also really nice to make a ginger cookie at Christmas in Finland with Anne, Jorma's wife. Thank you so much for preparing a traditional Finnish sauna for us every night. The area around the property is surrounded by forests and lakes and is a very tranquil accommodation. The accommodation is about an hour away from Rovaniemi Airport, so it is difficult to get to by public transportation, but you can easily get there by providing a round-trip pick-up service from the airport. We stopped by Santa Village on the way back, and it was a very comfortable trip because they guided us to Santa Village and took us to the airport. It was a trip to see the aurora, but it was a bigger memory that I was able to meet jorma and anne than Aurora. This is where I want to be again in the summer if I have a chance. Highly recommended for those who want to heal quietly in Finland.

Nice little house with everything you need direcly at the Lake. Really good big fireplace inside which heats up easy and fast! Lots of aready chopped firewood and a Cute little Sauna which heats up to 80° in Just 30 min - perfect! (can go up to over 100°c easly). Really nice Hiking area Just around the Corner. Recommend for sure! ⭐

Perfect place, hope to come back soon for a longer time ;) Very highly reccomended. Jaana is very kind and helpful person, you can find everything what you need in her cozy accommodation.

Very friendly and responsive host. Place was clean and neat. Had most kitchen utensils. Missing a wine opener and a cheese slicer. (Most cheese in Sweden comes in a block). Washer came in handy. However the shower curtain is very close and it's hard to shower without getting the curtain stuck to your arms. Convenient to Kalix and other nearby areas. Plenty of parking space on the side of the building

Miika's house is the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. It is a truly magical place. Miika and his wife are very hospitable and prepared us a delicious typical vein. We will never forget the days we spent there. Miika gave us the most beautiful piece of Lapland and we left a piece of our heart there.

Simple, nice, peaceful accommodation on horse farm. Everything you needed was there Nice host who was accommodating to my fall toy daughter, who had to go into the stable and pet the horses.

Place was quiet and had beautiful farm view. We booked the property at last minute but the host was very responsive and made quick arrangements. One down side was Wi-Fi does not seem to work. There was instructions, but could not get connected. But it did not hinder our experience anyway.

We enjoyed our stay at Jouni’s cabin so much, it is definitely one of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed. It is beyond charming, and designed so well it makes great use of space, the kitchen had everything you could need all in a compact but very useful space. The location is quiet and relaxed, with Jouni right next door, we were lucky enough to get to meet him and say hello. It really is a wonderful place to stay.

Johanna’s place is magical. Had a beautiful view of northern lights and that was like adding feather on the crown to this place and location. Highly recommended

It's a great location where you can really unwind. Everything is present in the cottage and you can also use the sauna. We also booked an excursion at Elina and with our snowboots we climbed a hill with the highlight of the beautiful view!
