Farmstay vacation rentals in Northern Finland

we stayed 1 week at Kati's and everything was perfect , the accommodation there is nothing to say everything is clean , it's big , there is everything you need. we are 50min from Rovaniemi with a direct and very accessible road. we saw the northern lights one night out the window , it was beautiful. i recommend this listing .

We came to Powerpark for a summer vacation with two families. The stay was selected for this home-like comfortable home for three nights. The home has plenty of room for two families (4 adults, 4 children). The accommodation has both clean towels and a cloth and other bedding. There was no need to carry your own. The kitchen has everything you need. The kids had a lot to do, and adults loved the countryside. Accommodation with football goals and balls, trampoline, molkky, etc. A well-stocked playhouse for the little one in the family. Only 12min drive to the store and 15min to powerpark. We found everything we needed and the vacation went very comfortably. Next time we will book accommodation if possible for the whole week. So much for everyone to enjoy the trip. Highly recommend. Thanks Marja and Harri, you made the holiday. Everything was well organized.

My stay at Jorma exceeded my expectations! We did so many fun things together and I truly enjoyed my stay! He’s an exceptionally kind and generous man. I learnt some Finnish words from him, he thought me some cross-country skiing in the beautiful forest, enjoyed the delicious meals and fresh homemade bread he prepared. And of course the sauna at the end of our active days. I also met Anne and she was very kind to make us a delicious blueberry pie. I will for sure recommend this place to anyone visiting Lapland and I’ll dream of coming back again !

Beautiful idyllic cottage, very cozy and in a great location right on the lake. We were also able to rent snowshoes, which was great. And otherwise a great place to stay!

My family and I stayed at the villa in Katja for two nights, it was a great memory, the villa had a high privacy, nice view, and there was no light at all around, when you walk out of the villa at night, the stars full of the sky, luck to see the aurora, also thank you Katja for showing us her farm when we checked in, feeding the reindeer was a great experience for kids and adults, 2 days is not enough, next time will have the chance to organize a holiday here, thank you very much Katja, I had a chance to see you again

I was new with the dogs to escape the rockets, and we had peace of mind. Lovely and atmospheric place, great sauna. clear instructions on how to use everything. I will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time! Mari was the perfect host—always reachable and incredibly friendly. The cabin has everything you need, and the sauna and whirlpool are absolutely fantastic! We even got to see the northern lights around the accommodation. It was truly a pleasure! ✨

Unique place to stay! Cozy barn, found everything you need. It happened to be an exceptionally cold night, so we needed an electric heater. We got to know the rescue and other animals and hear their stories. Especially as vegans and animal people, the place was very impressed. Thanks Riina and Nina! Have a great fall❤️.

We were so sad to leave our peace of Lapland....this is the way all families should experience this beautiful country instead of falling into the tourist traps. The villa was outstanding, so clean and everything right where it should be. Using the hot tub and sauna every night was the perfect way to warm up after a chilly day. Our daughter's (3 & 6) had the time of their lives and had an extra touch of magic by meeting the lovely Miika and his dogs. We did the snowmobile safari, husky sledging (at artic wolf) and then ice fishing which easily gave us a nice relaxed agenda for our four days leaving plenty of time to go sledging and have strolls round the nature trails. If visiting, especially without a hire car, just make sure you stock up before leaving Rovaniemi as it's not a short trip there and back. Luckily Miika and his wife kindly rescued us by getting some essentials (beer, chocolate and wine!). Nothing was too much trouble and it really feels like they love having their guests

An idyllic stay in the countryside. I'm sure the dogs had some wonders. Plenty of space and cozy decor all the way from December, which was a nice addition when traveling with kids on Christmas holidays. I would have loved to stay here longer. Definitely keep the place in mind if we move around the area.

I just stayed at Miika’s place with my two children & we had an amazing time. Being a mum travelling on my own I read the reviews and contacted Miika before booking - he could not have been helpful before or during our stay. I would really recommend a stay at his place. The cottage is just as described & was always plenty warm - even when it was -10 outside! The sauna & woodfired hot tub we used were amazing and definitely felt a traditional experience. It was absolutely silent perched next to the lake and we saw the aurora a few times without the need to travel anywhere else. Ice fishing, sledging and snow mobile on site were just as the photos and description. Miika was incredibly helpful and we felt safe all the time. I would not hesitate to stay again, thank you!

We loved our stay at Johanna’s place. We both agreed that if our schedule had allowed, we would have loved to spend more time there. The surrounding area is serene and peaceful. Inside is clean, warm, and homey. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Elina was very nice and gave us tips for what to do. We felt very welcome. Would 100% book again if in Lappland. We even saw the Northern lights in Front of the cottage. Best stay we ever had.
