The property was so great. Cabins are small but that was expected and honestly still had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed our stay!

The place was perfect for what we were looking for. Jennifer's place served as our hunting cabin for an extended weekend and worked out great.

Loved the pond, the peaceful atmosphere and the cabin is so cozy! It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind for a few days!

The cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed. It was very clean and had all the amenities as stated. The WiFi went out and Jenny had it fixed in no time. Although it was cold during the time we went, we scheduled another visit for the summer to experience more outdoor time. Looking forward to it. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay. 💕

Joann (Jo Jo) is a wonderful hoast. When I contacted her in the morning prior to making one of our several day trips, about the need of a grab handle for the bathroom she had it there later on that same day when we returned. This was our 4th vacation trip to the Ashtabula / Geneva on the lake area. We've stayed at different rentals every time. This is the first time that neighbors interacted with us and made us feel welcome. We've already book this place for the same time period next year. A gentleman that lives at the end of the drive invited us to come down and experience the sunset any time we wanted. The house was just the right size for myself the wife and our fur baby. There is a fantastic gas grill there and I used it twice to grill dinner, I plan to bring a griddle plate for next year so I can cook up some magic for the neighbor's. We are so looking forward to September 2025 and another 7 relaxing days at J Jo's beach house. You won't go wrong if you book this cottage.

This is a beautiful, truly off the grid place to stay. It was super relaxing and we had an awesome time despite the rainy weather. I did send Liz a message but didn’t get a response. The question answered itself when I arrived but would have been nice not to have to pack the item I asked about. This place doesn’t have a tv which didn’t bother us at all, but some might want one😂. Overall, wonderful stay and we would definitely go again!

Great little getaway. Perfect place if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Definitely want to come back in the spring or fall!

Our second stay and we plan to return! Quick access to Port Clinton. We went to Marblehead and East Harbor State Park. The kids enjoyed finding frogs and a turtle on site. Great place for a family to take a break from screens and spend time together. Thank you!

Sam’s place was very clean, with modern amenities, plenty of games, and just a beautiful space to relax.

Exceptional response. Went for a relaxing get away and that is exactly what we experienced. Great place to get some needed relaxation. Pictures were spot on with layout.

The Cabin was great that was pet friendly. Normally we camp in our 5th wheel except November-April and it was great to find the cabin to have a little getaway. We had minor issues with getting the TV going but we resolved it without contacting Maria. We didn’t get a chance to hike behind the cabin but hopefully we will on a future trip here. The pizza at Rocky Fork Store was only 1.5 miles from the cabin and it was a great pizza. Thanks Maria!

My sister and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Tiny Haven while we were in town visiting family. It was like staying in a tree house in the woods! Kathy greeted us with wine and homemade cookies (we never did crack open the wine but the cookies were delicious!) The home itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We took walks through the woods in the mornings, and stargazed from the porch in the evenings. Having a campfire in the teepee out back was a definite highlight! One important note that we overlooked when booking was that there is no wifi. It is clearly stated in the listing that wifi is not provided, so that was our mistake. For a 6-day stay, it was a major inconvenience for us—but if you're staying for a short while or if you don't mind being without wifi, it may not be an issue for you. Overall, we would recommend the Tiny Haven to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy getaway. Thanks, Kathy!

Beautiful home and lake. Welcomed with a sweet treat. Good coffee! If you plan on cooking, bring all ingredients with you. The home is in a private location, but behind/above it there is construction work/noise going on (don’t know how long that will last). Looking forward to taking the canoe out on the lake another time when the weather allows.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for valentines weekend for a romantic getaway. The location was a little hidden to get too but once you find it, it’s totally worth it. Secluded little cabin with a beautiful nature review. Very cozy and romantic inside the cabin. There’s a winery near by and lots of local restaurants that are wonderful. Highly recommend for couples looking for a small getaway. 10/10

I chose this place for a solo trip and it was all I needed for mind, body and spirit!! Special touches were noticed and appreciated like honey, farm fresh eggs and even feed to give the ducks/chickens on the property!! The hot tub is completely private and open in the winter!! Local recommendations were super helpful! This property is far enough away to feel privacy, peace and seclusion, but close enough to drive into town to check out the local spots!!!

Just book it, you won’t regret it!! Being from Cleveland, we wanted a cool stay near home and this did it!! We did not leave the whole weekend we were here. The home is clean and has everything you could think of. The sound of the roadway nearby is more of a white noise and did not bother us at all!! Our favorite part was turning up the music loud and hanging in the hot tub late at night. This is a great city stay that makes you feel like you’re in your own world!!

Wonderful host, very clean, quiet, with beautiful views of the night sky. Exactly as described!

Went for a week to get away and just relax. The bonus was the absolutely spectacular views of the sunsets each night. Plenty to do once you get familiar with your surroundings. Extra touch was the scented pillows and sheets and the carrot cake waiting for us on arrival. Anything you need is in the cabin. it is well stocked to meet your daily needs.

The cottage was easy to find. It was beautiful inside and just as described. It was in a great location to do lots of activities in the area including shopping, restaurants and site seeing. We had a fantastic weekend and are already planning our next weekend.
