Family-friendly vacation rentals in North West

A great location, the building is directly connected to the shopping center surrounding Mandela Square. A very safe location. Plenty of shops and restuarants nearby. The room was very spacious and worth the price. The touristy hop-on, hop-off Red Bus picks up you up just around the corner from this building.

It was a tranquil weekend getaway in a beautifully located spot on the Vaal Dam, nestled near a serene pond.

This cabana at kwa Maritane Bush lodge is fantastic. You have a fantastic view over Pilanesberg and we saw a lot of animals including an elephant, but also monkeys and a lot of impala and zebra right in front of the cabana. The cabana has everything you need and the main bedroom is very beautiful and has a beautiful balcony. The cabana is in a very good condition and is spacious. The facilities at the lodge are great. The restaurant is very good and is very well situated with a beautiful view over Pilanesberg. The guides are well educated and Pilanesberg is a beautiful park. The cabana is very close to all the facilities of the lodge. Staff is friendly. Geir is a very friendly and informative host.

Simon's place was all we needed, lovely and secure apartment within the vibey Rosebank area. Very convenient with lots to do within a short walk. Simon was a very responsive host as well, I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a hustle free stay.

Made a last minute booking and had the best time with my friends there. Vanessa was very responsive and the house itself is very beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. There are soo many games and things to do, we spent the entire weekend there and did not get bored at all. The place is equipped with everything you can think of! Amazing views.

This was our first time in Johannesburg and Anita helped it to be very special. She was a great hostess. Anytime we needed anything she had no problem assisting us. She gave us information about sightseeing in the area, restaurants, great farmer's markets and much more. My sister was visiting from Rome, Italy and Anita speaks Italian, so that was a special surprise for my sister. Anita also has a basketball hoop, which my 10 year old granddaughter loved, she also gave her games and drawing supplies. My granddaughter had a great time. We highly recommend Anita's beautiful cottage and great hospitality, and would surely book it again.

I was able to check in early and check out late so that was awesome! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The place was nice. The building is pretty secure for the most part (there’s 24 hour security/ reception) and has a gym, pool and restaurant. I liked its proximity to the mall and other attractions in sandton. Would definitely recommend this unit if you’re looking for a place to stay in sandton/johannesburg!

Stewart met us upon our arrival and went out of his way to make us feel right at home. We were left to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of the beautiful quaint cottage and the animals that lived on the premises. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg, with the location also perfect as everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely return!

Our reservation for the size of our group stay was super! The rooms were huge, private and super neat and clean. The ample bathrooms in the house eases the load and no waiting for others to finish. The entertainment and dining areas were so well planned which makes this house an ideal place for a huge family reunion, group or corporate outing or even a workshop for a small executive group. The kitchen is huge and had lovely amenities. Even the cottage was clean and neat, as our big group of 15 utilized all the facilities. We had a power failure in the house but was quickly attended to and there were daylight alternatives. Housekeeping is right up there.

Linda and Peter have not done justice to the images and description they provided on the site. This place is so much better than described. It is very clean, so welcoming and they are both great hosts. They are proactive in their communication and check on guests regularly. This place is both romantic and peaceful. They also have an assortment of games available (Scrabble, UNO) and a shelf of books. We will definitely be coming back!

The pictures do not do it justice. What a beautiful home with stunning views of the dam. Multiple seating areas inside and outside. Electric blankets and air conditioning provided which really made our stay more comfortable. Spacious bedrooms with enough bathrooms. Would recommend getting more serving dishes and food storage containers especially because the house caters for a large number of guests. Otherwise , no complaints. Responsive host and caretaker. Highly recommend.

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything so seamless from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely experience - we’d definitely love to return!

Charming neighborhood/place and helpful host.

A truly wonderful place to spend a few days (or longer) in the heart of Sandton. I will certainly be back.

Another great stay - some nice and welcome upgrades

My stay was lovely. I wish I didn't have to leave. It's spacious, it's cosy, it's clean and it's beautiful. It honestly does feel like a way away from home. And Marie? An absolute sweetheart. I will definitely be returning.

Louise was communicative and helpful. The apartment is well maintained and within walking distance to the Dainfern Mall. Stunning kitchen! Only small incident for me was that the gate to the complex is within the shopping center bounds, so an additional ticket was required to enter - no cost but it took a while before I found the exact entrance from Ways directions. Very tight security which is a welcome in JHB and Louise even provided helpful information should Uber or take-aways be used. Thanks for a great stay.

The only downside to our trip was not being able to extend our stay - a very beautiful home with lots of personality in a safe neighbourhood. We especially enjoyed the garden and it served as a great backdrop for photos. The rooms were large and each had its own special touch. Mini was very kind and Ezna, our caretaker was readily available to help with the tiny snags we had here and there, not to mention the housekeeping tasks she's available to assist with - please feel free to tip her.

We had an awesome stay at Bedford Manor. Carol was super friendly and made sure everything went smoothly for our trip. The location is easy to find and the accommodation is well maintained and secure. Definitely recommended if you need a place to stay near Centurion.

We had the best time at this spot. The bedrooms are downstairs and the entertainment area upstairs was awesome. We had many kids and figured out ways to keep them save at the stairs. The sunset on the deck was spectacular. Debbie was super helpful and accommodating. We had everything we needed. 100% recommend this awesome spot!

Great place, it was inviting and quite homely. The garden is plush and everything just works perfectly. Thank you to Ben and Co for a good stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a fab time.
