Charming, clean, and cozy apartment in a beautiful setting. Amazing surroundings and architecture. All on point and tiptop. Even the dog found his own cups and a bed - he took it right away. Thanks again for the delicious Karelian pies! Works as an excellent base for watching biathlon races.

The apartment was modern and comfortable, it was possible to adjust the temperature to suit you.

We really felt at home in Milon's apartment. He was welcoming for the check-in and provided all basic necessities and household items. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was clean and in good condition. The location of the apartment is excellent, directly in the city center and also by the river which allows for nice walks outside.

Just what we needed for a weekend getaway, me and my almost 2-year-old toddler. The place was spot on for the two of us! Easy access to the building with baby carriage and the appartment was right next to the elevator. The host had kindly arranged a potty for the toddler, that was really thoughtful! The bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped and the TV and Youtube worked well for entertainment. Sadly the weather was freezing so we didn't have the guts to enjoy the balcony much - but it must be nice during the summer! On Friday evening we heard some noise from neighbours but fortunately not too loud or for too long. Otherwise the building and the area were calm.

I had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Markku's. He was very accommodating, allowing me to adjust my check in and check out time at short notice. He responded to my messages straight away, such as helping with a Netflix login. The place was clean and comfortable and quiet. It's about a 30 minute walk from Joensuu train station and a 40 minute walk from the town, which is worth bearing in mind, especially for a winter stay when temperatures are low and the sun sets at 2.30 p.m. Good value for money.

second time in this listing. on the same lines with the previous rating: the peaceful location with a beautiful view opened up from the windows. seamless key exchange. the car got parked right next to the property. a big plus about the bed and extra pillows of the listing (it was a good book to read in the bed). the place I can warmly recommend to fellow travelers

We stayed in the semi-detached house of Tuomo for 10 days and were able to take the bus, right on the road, into the Biathlonsradion. Beautiful hiking trails close to the house. Very quiet location. The place was clean and well appointed. We were missing a kettle and there were too few plates. Otherwise everything was very good. Recommended was the spacious sauna, where we could warm up.

Huge pleasure to spend more than a week in Anita's large and very comfortable house! This pastel blue house of character seemed to us to be one of the best in Savonlinna and in the best placed. Plenty of space in this house - living room, kitchen, bedrooms, all are very beautiful rooms - lots of light too, in a very stylish set. The house is also perfectly equipped. Last but not least, Anita, our host, welcomed us with warmth, kindness and care which made us really happy. About the environment, special mentions for the central island of Lake Saimaa, Linnansaari, which is reached by boat and one can walk around, and for the Punkaharju region which is home to the amazing Forest Museum.

The apartment is fine, plenty of space (we were 2) and nice and warm. There was plenty of equipment to cook. Also nice that there was coffee and tea provided!
