An awesome place to stay, and the private beach access was an amazing perk!

We loved the location of Don & Diana's place, right across from the ocean and beach. It was a great home base for exploring the Redwoods. We enjoyed sitting in front of the huge window in the front room and looking out at the ocean. There's a staircase just across the street for accessing the beach. The communication with the hosts was the best I've ever experienced. Before I arrived, I received texts with all the info I needed. After checking in, the next morning, Don & Diane reached out to ask if we had any questions. When I asked about local grocery stores, they provided four options, including links to all of them. This home is incredible. The ocean view is wonderful - we watched the sunset and waves for hours!! The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We parked in the garage which worked great for us! We’d definitely like to stay again!!

I love this place because of the location next to the lake and in the center of the city of Clearlake. While it is not five-star, luxury accommodation, there is the feeling of luxury having private access to the lake and the wonderfully attentive host. I would definitely stay here again because of the reasonable cost, wonderful location, caring host.

We loved our stay at Heiter House! The house was beautiful, the location is perfect, and the hosts were super responsive.

Patricia was such a great host. She reached out on the morning of check in to give us check in instructions and when I had any questions was quick to respond. The home was so clean and had all the amenities we needed! My family and I had a wonderful stay!

Sara’s place was perfect for our family’s visit to Oakland. The house was spacious and had everything we needed to be able to cook meals in. We appreciated having a gated off street parking space. Sara was a very friendly and responsive host. All in all, we highly recommend!

Lovely house surrounded by redwoods. Feels like you’re really escaping the city and going to a fairy tale forest. A lot of unique aspects I highly appreciate such as the wood stove, the double-high ceiling in the main room and the loft. Also they were generous and went out of the way to make us feel at home like the breakfast items, plenty of firewood, comfortable checkin/checkout times etc.

Carly’s home had a great vacation vibe with spectacular views of Raccoon Straits & Angel Island. On a clear day you could see the clock tower at UC Berkeley. The beds were comfortable as was the couch. The deck is where you want to be on a nice day.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversary at Mike's beautiful cottage near the ocean. This place had just what we needed for a calm and relaxing weekend. We especially loved the hot tub on the deck with a view of the ocean nearby. The cottage is located right by the pier with easy walkable access to 2 restaurants and a coffee shop. Highly recommend staying here!

Danielle’s home was cozy and sweet. It was very clean and she responded quickly to our questions.

Our third stay at this wonderful studio. The location is terrific and the space is just right for two. We travel a lot and this place is a real home away from home for us.
