Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Norte Region

It was a memorable vacation. The farm is amazing, with lots of things to see and do. I'm sure we will be back.

We absolutely loved this little cozy place . The view from the house was spectacular . It was so peaceful . It is the perfect place to recharge and relax . We didn’t want to go and will definitely come back . For those seeking peace and connection to nature this is exactly right.

A great place to stay with driving distance of Great Douro wineries, miradouro with an incredible view of the valley. Very clean, large and more beautiful than the photos show. Vitor and Marilia are great hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there..

Amazing place to stay! The place is just as described. A small house but with all amenities. José Antonio welcomed us with the house with the fireplace lit and the house warm and I care that we will not lack firewood or any details. She gave us a lot of tips on places to visit and eat. Always communicative and very close. From the door of the house there are several routes along the mountain to Lake Sanabria and other villages. We love spending a few days here and we recommend it without hesitation. We'll be back again to enjoy the house's terrace with better weather. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING JOSE ANTONIO.

Wonderful stay during half term with extended family. Traditional style house with a garden for the kids to play in and animals to keep them interested. Never actually met the host but host's parents instead who live next door. Josue's mother met us on arrival and showed us around the house and where everything was. Was lovely to meet her. His father came every morning and evening to deal with the animals via a private gate to their property in the garden. Location was about 15-20 minute walk to the coast and a bus stop nearby to go to Porto. Although we used bolts to get around as they were very cheap. It was nice with it being away from the chaos of the center of Porto. Thank you Josue for a wonderful stay! 🙂

This was a very enjoyable stay. The home is quiet and peaceful. Looked just like the pictures. The host was very helpful and also speaks english which was very helpful to me because I am from Canada. Very responsive with any questions and concerns. I hope to visit again. Thank you:)

We really enjoyed our stay in Porto. Our welcome was outstanding giving us so many ideas on what to do. Maps were given and explained. A great area for walking easily into old Porto and the shops. Would highly recommend.

Manuel was very responsive and helpful, even helping me find a place to get a birthday cake for my mom. He was also very flexible on arrival and departures that we had to change. The apartment was very comfortable, was in a great location, and has garage parking, an elevator, was large enough for 4 people, and even has a fireplace and loads of cafes nearby. The parking garage is tight, but we were able to park our small SUV in it, so I think it is a larger spot that some at other apartments (from reviews we read). The garage space does fit car larger and has a compact car and is safe. The bottle of his family’s homemade port and the local bakery item was very nice as well. Overall, Manuel’s place was the perfect base from which to explore the Douro Valley. We would stay there again.

The house is beautiful, very well decorated, well equipped with all the necessary utensils and very comfortable! The outer area is huge and excellent, really a very peaceful place that we would certainly like to come back! 😊 Filipe was always very responsive and kind, excellent service. I recommend this to everyone who wants to spend a great time with nature!

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting. Loads of space for our party of 8. Our host Jose was very welcoming and ensured our stay was perfect. Just a short walk into Ponte de Lima which has loads to offer. Lots of cafés and eateries and the river is great for swimming and kayaking. A short drive to many other places to visit if you should wish. Highly recommended. A++

Daniel and Katrina are already good friends. They are good people, easy to communicate and very helpful. They were impeccable in welcoming my family into their home. I highly recommend them!

we were a group of 10 people and spent the weekend during the famous Sra D'Agonia festivities. The house is extremely comfortable, the staff very helpful. it was amazing to be so close to the center of Viana to enjoy several events but also have a base where we could enjoy time in the pool, cook, and eat as a group of friends. the piano was a very nice plus. an element of our group plays and it felt so much more intimate to be able to enjoy him playing for us.

Very well equipped house and everything on site. Certainly to return, the house is in a quiet place with several places to stroll around. Joao showed himself always responsive in communication and received us very well.

The house is truly wonderful. The pool is big enough and not too close from the house so the kids do not bother the people who want to rest in the house peacefully. the small pond with the fish is cute and lovely the kitchen is beautiful and big enough to have a few cooks in the kitchen the bedrooms are spacious

It's a great place to stay, the sauna, jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool are actually functional and easy to use. You wont go there to play snooker but you will go there to enjoy time with family and friends where staying in the house has a lot to do! highly recommended for families with kids and youth!
