Title: An Unforgettable Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an amazing stay at Bernard’s place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The property was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to major places to visit. What truly made the experience exceptional was Bernard’s hospitality. They were incredibly responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Shilong. Darrell has such a beautiful place to stay which make us hard to left it. We really felt like home. He decorate the place inside out. Everything is top notch. Served us the complimentary breakfast for our anniversary. He has photogenic garden, a cozy sitting area and such a nice dining area as well. Food was delicious.

Dave is a great Host and Nat Cottage is better experienced in person, than just in photos. The place was peaceful within the busy Shillong city. They had well maintained garden with continuous cool breeze and lots of plants and freshness. The stay was very cozy and clean, and Dave was really proactive with what we needed for a comfortable stay, be it vacation or workation.

Stella, Bella, Caesar and Roxy will welcome home with their most adorable voice. The morning bulbul’s promising tweet was never a miss . Anne would shower care along with lovingly made breakfast. Something so special about the entire experience. My sincere thanks and gratitude for a peaceful stay.

Good place for a short stay. Everything looks like the pics, it was spick and span, heater and geyser are available, there is a restaurant opposite. The kitchen is well appointed. Only drawback for me was the height of the bedroom ceiling upstairs. The low ceiling made sitting up in bed impossible,also had to bend down just to get onto the upper level. Batista is very helpful and recommended a great driver as well.He was also helpful in making guide arrangements for Mawphlang sacred grove and the David Scott trail. Be aware that Mawphlang in general seems very cold compared to the rest of Meghalaya, in my experience, as we visited Shillong,Sohra,Shnongpdeng etc all of which were much warmer. It was 7 degrees at night in Mawphlang and we visited in March,which I think is summer for Meghalaya.We struggled with the cold and were thankful we were there only for a night.

The host is amazing. Extremely helpful and friendly. A good spot to stay, close to nature. Far from your daily hustled life . Throughout my visit, I felt at home. There are also an extremely cute dogs. A nice view to start the day.
