Vacation rentals with lake access in Newton

I LOVED stay at the Red House. It is quickly becoming my home away from home. It was the perfect place to unwind and rest after the holiday rush. Being a writer, I take this time to start on new book projects and Sunny's place couldn't be more peaceful an quiet. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing, the home has everything I need and I really feel like it is a little oasis. The Red House is a great deal and always clean, organized, comfortable and quiet. Sunny and Cathy are the perfect hosts and I can't wait to return!

Jenny was a wonderful host! Very proactive and responsive to questions. She made everything easy for us. Location was wonderful and place was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, quiet, safe, clean and beautiful single-family home. Impeccably clean. We loved the view of the Cove out back, especially in the winter time with the snow! Felt relaxing. Kitchen was beautiful and highly functional. Beds were comfortable. Family room was very cozy for activities or watching movies. HVAC worked properly and made the home comfortable. Laundry is in the basement and worked well. Neighbors were friendly. Ample parking for two vehicles. Boston got 4 inches of snow when we stayed and the snow removal person took care of steps and sidewalks and driveway completely in the morning. Star Market grocery is only 10 minutes away and has everything we needed. Home was well priced for our needs. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to Boston area. Highly recommend!!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Roosevelt took the time to show us around the house on the first day, explaining all the amenities and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house itself was spotless and well-equipped.

The property was stunning and impeccably clean, matching the description perfectly. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the convenient location with a trail to see horses and access to the lake. The host was incredibly accommodating, and we are looking forward to returning with our family. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide garage access to the house for elderly guests who may have difficulty with stairs, as the pathway, although beautiful, was quite lengthy for my elderly parents. Nonetheless, we all had a fantastic time. Thank you.

If you're looking for serenity in a GORGEOUS atmosphere, do yourself a favor and stay here. The pond (it's a lake IMO, but it's technically a pond on Google Maps) is BEAUTIFUL. The available petal boat, canoes and other water craft are a wonderful amenity to have there. Sitting on the dock, enjoying the ducks swim and fly by was the highlight of my morning. The property is WELL hidden in the woods. It's on a steep-ish slope, so if you think it's not there, just keep driving down the hill. :) This house included EVERYTHING that we needed. We just brought clothes and food. I suggest ordering at the Walmart in West Boylston and picking up groceries on your way in. We didn't get to eat/shop at the ice cream/market nearby, but it looked super cute. There are also a few other markets nearby that sold all sorts of yummy, local harvests. My son LOVED the inside swing; there are about fiddy-'leven board games; and the wooden blocks, LEGO and kids books were a very welcome addition. A GEM!

Loved Elena's place so very much! we stayed for two weeks to be close to our daughter and her newborn babe, to help out. this place was just what we needed~a comfortable place to stay after a day's worth of support for her. within walking distance should she need us quickly. it is a pleasent area to walk around, felt safe, with interesting homes to look at ~ Whole Foods, wine store, convenience stores, restaurants all w/in walking distance or very short drive. we particularly loved City Feed for special treats and sandwiches. we enjoyed some snow fall while visting which added all the more to the charm of the area~~ we felt at Home for sure, Elena's place is totally well stocked with everything one would need, from a stocked kitchen, to bathroom amenities. so opulently decorated, big comfy couch and heavenly bed w/so many cozy blankets and pretty linens. Elena is such an accommodating host, checked in with us during our stay and very responsive. we will love to visit again!

20 White Pine Knoll was wonderful. We had an extended stay while we closed on our new house. Karen was always responsive and extremely helpful. If we decide to come back to Summer Village, 20 White Pine Knoll will be where we stay! Highly recommended.

Shawn was very quick to respond to our questions! Particularly useful when we were rushing out of the house to catch a train and could not figure out how to lock/arm the door (not realizing a switch was turned on the inside-probably the kids!). He responded in less than a minute! Thanks again Shawn!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. Beautiful property, peaceful and right on the lake. Brittni was very responsive and the instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow. Would definitely stay again.

I would definitely stay here again, the apartment was exactly what I needed. Very cozy, exactly as described, super stylish, convenient location and value for money. I highly recommend this place, walking distance from a few great super markets including a Whole foods! and a trader vics! Louisa was very responsive and helpful.

The apartment style location was great, the apartment was clean, and they had a lot of little extras available that was thought our in case you forgot something. I would recommend rental to anyone. Nicely done.

This cozy space in a beautiful coastal neighborhood was perfect for a 1-night stay for myself, my husband, and our two dogs. Hosts were friendly and easy to work with. We found everything we needed.

Highly recommend this place. Heidi and Chris are great hosts, would love to come back in future.

We had a great stay fantastic apartment in a nice neighborhood, right in town but very quiet. Very comfortable and the full kitchen is a plus. Yanti is a great host, very responsive if needed but respectful of your privacy.

We cannot wait to return for another stay at the Little House. My husband and I just spent a long snowy but cozy weekend there and intend to come back soon with our grown children. The home is charming and comfortable, we slept well and found the kitchen especially well equipped, and we enjoyed a gorgeous view over the pond. Caroline is a thoughtful and responsive host. She kept our walkway free of ice and snow so that we could easily move between the house and our rental car in spite of the wintry weather. Our new favorite place to stay! ( my husband also wants me to mention that the wi fi was blazing fast )

4.5/5 stars It's a small and cozy place in a beautiful location. The place had a lot of amenities and the staircase upstairs to the bedroom is nice. Only critiques would be that the outer stairs were incredibly icy and had not been salted beforehand. And the house is colder than we expected. Would come here again.

Absolutely beautiful location. Home was very cozy. Love the kitchen! Brian is a great host. Extremely proactive, helpful and gave great recommendations. Neighborhood is quiet and those around are friendly. Definitely recommend staying at this location again. Wish I would have stayed in warmer weather to utilize the property to its full potential.

It was exactly what my family was looking for. It was relaxing and private. It allowed us to not feel cramped like a hotel stay, but allowed us to cook and enjoy the relaxing day. If you have a small kid, the golf cart is a must!

I had a wonderful stay at Nancy's house. She was helpful, friendly and caring. The whole house was welcoming and she ensured that I was comfortable and well looked after. I highly recommend a night or two in this beautiful space!

Perfection distilled into an extended weekend! Visiting friends in Arlington, celebrating a birthday (two!) and nearby plans in Boston and New Hampshire drew us to this wonderful cabin for a beautiful four-day getaway. Jessica provided perfect information for our late evening arrival to this waterside cabin tucked in with unobstructed, warming views of Spy Pond. Really in all honesty everything was a bit storybook. Wake up early and see the sunrise across the pond, make some breakfast and coffee with thoughtfully stocked kitchen all while looking out over a beautiful vista. So many little touches, like a little note right where you need it. This is a gem. I know we’ll be back for sure. Thanks Jessica(+), you created a location of wonderful memories. ~Scott
