I had such a wonderful stay! Rowena was warm and welcoming, and the home itself was so cozy and beautifully decorated. I was especially touched by the homemade blueberry muffins and the lovely little gift she prepared — such a kind and personal touch! Her dog was absolutely adorable — calm, friendly, and very well-behaved. It truly felt like staying at a home away from home.

It was a bit tricky to find as we were not familiar with the area and we had trouble with having service. We called Max who gave clear instructions and helped us out. Highly recommend.

If you want the back woods and privacy then this is the place for you!!!! It's Big - It's wood! It's magical! 9 of us on a trip to honor our grandmother's and spread our ashes and bond and it was the absolutely best place. Drinks, hot tub, walks, scavenging the beach for cool finds. Just a heads up...it's open concept so at night if you are a light sleeper bring some ear plugs or a night mask with speakers to play white noise. Worth the trip!!!

Highly recommend. Absolutely pristine property which is exactly as pictured. Monica is an extremely responsive and friendly host. The attention to detail in the Puffin Perch is amazing. So well decorated.and all amenities you need. The kitchen is awesome and stocked with everything you need if you want to cook. Great views and a ni e private area in back with seating, a firepit and bbq. We spent 10 wonderful days there and were quite sad to leave. Dont hesitate to book if you want to tour the Avalon peninsula. Ten out of ten!!

What a delightful stay! The view from the property is exceptional. You can see all the comings & goings in and out of the harbor, the people trekking (across the bay) to Signal Hill, whale spouts, & birds galore. There is a lovely path to access the East Coast Trail, as you walk up toward the lighthouse at the end of the way. Worthwhile, with exceptional views from a 20 minute (but fairly challenging) hike. A terrific place to stay and access St. John’s!

It was the third time we’ve been there and each time we had blast! Everything is so clean and beautiful and we felt like our home!

Location is superb due to proximity to amenities. Sunsets from the deck were amazing every night. We will be back.

The condo was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The views from the living room and balcony were even better than the photos, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing on the beach. Our only regret is not booking a second night!

Very nice accommodation, both private, in a quiet area and at the same time close to everything. We felt right at home. I recommend it!

Simon and Genevieve were lovely. Her husband was very kind and offered us a lot of sites and places to see according to what we wanted. The place is very well located and peaceful. The accommodation is very good, clean and very well-equipped. I recommend this place in every way. They are very kind hosts If I have the opportunity to return to Gaspésie, I will gladly go back. Anyk and her daughter Rose were wonderful hosts. Ideal location close to good food and a hiking trail. Enjoyed my early morning coffee with the hummingbirds that also love Anyk's gardens and property. Enjoyed my stay and the peace and tranquility offered!
