What an amazing place this is . Peaceful and scenic location with Mountain View’s . The place was spotless and well laid out . Raymie met us when we arrived and told us how everything worked and where everything was . Fire was set for us to light when we wanted . Fresh eggs and milk and fruit and bread and butter . Wood there for log burner on the patio outside . Slept like a log . Raymie saw us before we left to wish us all the best . Amazing place. Highly recommend this place to stay . Ideally situated with main road networks very close by. However, the property was located in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. It well suited our needs providing us with the relaxation we sought for a short break away from the mundane. The barn has been beautifully and lovingly restored making it a quirky holiday home. It felt home from home with all needs catered for. Judith was very communicative online without being intrusive. It was a pleasure to meet Barry, having a chat with him and meeting Cooper the dog and being introduced to Bill and Ben the lawnmower men 🤣 (robot mowers). The names tickled us!🤣 Thanks both for a very relaxing and peaceful stay.

The cottage is right next to the Mourne Mountains and so is an amazing place to stay for people interested in doing any walking or hiking in the area. Is exactly as shown on the advertisements. Mary was extremely welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of information both in person followed up by texts on places that are a must see, a nice scenic drive through the Mourne Mountains and information on the best methods to get into Dublin and Belfast to avoid driving through the very busy cities. The cottage was very clean with lots of kitchen utensils and even a washing machine available to use. Finally, the welcome package you get is just a lovely added bonus really making us feel at home. 100% would recommend and will definitely be returning in the future!

We had a fantastic stay with our baby, the place was very clean and well laid out. Location was great, central to Portrush and Portstewart. The house had a lovely outdoor space although with the weather and a baby we didn’t get much chance to use it. Brian had a lovely welcome hamper waiting for us on arrival and was very friendly.

We had a lovely stay at The Bothy. April was a fabulous host and all the little extras she put on made it an extra special family holiday. There were scones with cream and jam, homemade soda bread and the best marmalade I have ever tasted (and I don’t usually like marmalade) waiting for us on arrival, as well as age appropriate toys for the kids (she messaged before arrival to check their ages). It is also a great location to explore the north coast of Northern Ireland.
