House vacation rentals in Newbury

Our 6 night stay at Quiet Retreat was the perfect accommodation for our group of 5 as we celebrated our son’s wedding at the Cardigan AMC Lodge. We enjoyed sitting on the expansive deck to take in incredible views of the apple orchard and Cardigan Mountain. The house was filled with beautiful and interesting artwork, the bedrooms were very comfortable, and there was a well stocked kitchen with comfortable seating for meals. Our family totally enjoyed this too short vacation experience thanks to West and Wendy’s gracious hosting.🙏

This was a wonderful rustic cabin with nice kitchen and wonderful views. We had a family gathering up here and it was great to just hang out. There are two rooms and a bath upstairs plus a room/bath downstairs allowing some privacy when needed. Only a few got to check out the hot tub due to the weather but they enjoyed it. It's close to trails, Newbury, New London and Bradford (as close as anything is in these parts...) Jonathan was a wonderful and responsive host! Thanks!

We loved staying at Brad’s house on Eastman Pond. A beautiful, serene getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with 5 adults and one dog. We walked in and immediately felt at home. This was one of the most well appointed places I have ever rented...it had everything we needed and more . The kitchen and the living space was quite comfortable. The beds were wonderful. There is a trail to the river right across the street which we used several times. I can't think of a negative thing to say.

Our stay was perfect. Jill's home was so comfortable in every way. The kitchen was well equipped and laid out -- we also had some great grilling time on the porch.  Beds were ridiculously comfortable and the room darkening shades were amazing.  WiFi was great as we were able to work remotely for a few days there as well. The condo is in a very quiet spot with great greenery and perfect short walk to the beach and walking paths. Kayaks were great and we were able to get out several times and enjoy the lake and swim almost everyday.  And great comfy couch for watching TV.   Jill was also a fabulous host who left great instructions and texted back with our few questions quickly.  We can't wait to return! 

My husband and I have stayed in several condos in the Quechee area and Michael's is one of the best. It was really clean and well stocked. Very nice lower level with lots of room for hanging out. The living room is cozy with a nice fireplace. We would definitely return.

My family and I truly enjoyed our time spent at the farmhouse. Everything was as expected from the listing. The pictures do not do justice for the property. It's beautiful and well maintained. The pool was nice, warm, and clean. There are yard games readily available and a nice fire pit area. Brin and Maria are super responsive and left very detailed instructions on the property for you. Everything you need is there minus food, which is a 12-minute drive towards a few different grocery stores. The hill is so fun to roll down, too! Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay over a quick Thanksgiving get away! House has everything you could possible need and more...Awesome sun room and gardens. Thank you Brett for letting us enjoy your historic and beautiful home! Hope to be back some day. Matthew

Beautiful, exactly as advertised, awesome amenities, pictures didn’t do justice to how great it was! Host was very responsive. Loved our stay and can’t wait to be back!

Place was great as always Ted is very clear with instructions and had a great tip of saving the checkin information as there is no service other wise!

Stayed at Andy’s place for a friend’s wedding in Hanover. Airbnb was exactly as described. Beautiful location on the lake. I was very happy with our decision to stay there!

House was great. plenty of bedrooms and so many beds. Living room was large and big sectional with plenty of seating. Deck with chairs was great spot to have coffee with great views. The door lock was a little tricky but we had great time

We really enjoyed our stay! The space was huge and perfect for kids. The house was very family friendly and had everything we could’ve needed.

Location was lovely. Place was nice and spacious, great yard. It would have been nice if they had a kayak or a canoe included

My stay was wonderful, and the host was amazing. They were always available and understanding. The place was very cozy and comfortable, and the lake view was fantastic. A great feature was the opportunity to go kayaking.

Stayed at this beautiful property for a weekend with family. We haven't stopped talking about how perfect it was for us. Each bedroom was well appointed, comfortable beds, big bathrooms, a central kitchen that became our gathering spot, plus some side rooms perfect for relaxing in. Shane was very responsive and kind as well! We hope to come back to enjoy the trail more and have another perfect stay!

Adam’s home was spotless, from the dishes in the cabinets to the dish drain, the linens, towels, bathrooms, kitchen- everything! He was very proactive in providing directions up the snowy drive and responded quickly to all communications. We happily spent evenings cozied up by the fire watching movies on the big screen! Adam plans to spruce up the interior paint and that will add to the charm of this already wonderful home. We hope to return soon!

I have been fortunate enough to stay here several times The property is lovely, the house is very well kept with everything we needed. The hosts are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Great place to live if you’re visiting for fall colors. We stayed in the upper unit and really enjoyed our stay. One thing I didn’t like this place is the over priced cleaning fee with a list of stuff to do. Like if we are being charged 250$ for cleaning, we should not have to clean the house..

My family had an excellent stay at Derek’s, the location was prime for us, walkable into the town of Woodstock. The house was welcoming, clean and room for everyone. Everything you need is in the home. Tastefully decorated as well!

I can’t say enough good about staying at Dan’s place. It is an excellent place for gathering of groups. We had a wonderful family gathering. I didn’t expect it to live up to the photos, but it actually exceeds them. We can’t wait to come again next year.

We had everything we needed for our stay and Olesya was quick to respond with questions I had before arrival. The house was exactly as pictured and the five of us slept comfortably. The young adults in our group had a lot of fun playing pool.

We enjoyed our week long stay at Eric’s place and found the place to be exactly as described! It was clean and quiet and well appointed. The location was extremely convenient to the Newport and Sunapee areas and Eric was a great host. A couple things to note: the internet is DSL based and you may have some latency and bandwidth issues. We also had a small issue w the door lock but Eric was extremely proactive and got it fixed within the hour.

We loved Michael's house. It backs up to a rocky stream and the view is lovely. The home is very comfortable and easy to find. Look for the pink flamingo! The kitchen is well appointed with the drawers labeled so it is not seek and ye shall find. There is a small pantry with staples in it. The den on the back is where we spent most of our evenings. There are three easy chairs and a couch with the TV. The porch out back is great and the grill is easy to use. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. The light switches are labeled as this is an older home and it is nice know what works. Micheal is a great host and easy to communicate with. Please stay here you will really love it.
